"I noticed before that you seemed to get a little slower after moving like that." I said, before turning to face him.

"All I'd have to do is out last you long enough to get one good strike on you."

"That may be true, but who's to say I'd be fighting? Maybe I'd just woop up to a rooftop or a treetop. Zip off to find another way around. It's how I made my life, after all." MY grin goes back to it's usual large size, and I giggle.

After attempting to wake Nick a few more times, she gave up, and decided to leave her sorting out until later. She left her room, closing the door, and began to head downstairs.

"The school isn't that big. I'd find you eventually and I would make you wish you hadn't gone near Rei."

I continued to glare at Lynki.

I giggled again. "We'll have to see when the time comes. I know several ways of avoiding a direct confrontation." I smile and bow again, stepping to the side. "I'm getting the feeling that my health may indeed be in danger. So, I shall leave you be. Just stay on the lookout for wires, paint, and/or cooking flour." I grin and laugh again.

My brain went through several different moods in the span of a few seconds. First was embarrassment at reacting like I was attacked. Second was surprise at the fact that she hugged me while. Had a freaking sword drawn on her, and then there was a mix of anger and irritation at the unwelcome hug, and then I realized that a girl was hugging me. My face heated up even more, and I found my hands were sticking out n the air, sorta flapping as I tried to get out of the embrace.

"Too....tight.....please...let....go...."

I wander down the halls, hardly amused by the act. I was, however, tantalized by the girl's threat. I was coming from the opposite direction, and was about to run into them. And that was what happened, and said to Lynki, "Let's see if that humor lasts. And don't pick on the freshmen, Lynki; It just makes them feel worse." I give a slight chuckle at the statement.

Rei let go.
"Sorry!" She grinned. "Come on! Smile! We're here to be the defenders of mankind."
She giggled. "I'm Rei! Who're you?"

I turn my head and laugh. "My humor always lasts, Lucas. I'm sure you haven't forgotten about those pranks I did on the third years." I look back at Lily. "See, if you don't believe me, you can ask Lucas here. He knows what I do."

When she let go, I took a breath before looking at her....then I quickly looked back down at my feet. "Uh....my name's Jason..." I said in a quiet voice again. It was pathetic, the way I was acting right now, but to make things easier I sheathed my weapon. "Um...sorry, about....drawing the sword on you."

It's ok!" She replied brightly. "But I'm not gonna hurt you!" She stuck out her hand. "Pleased to meet you Jason!"
She just smiled.

Petra left the Second Year Girls dorm, and well, just sort of looked around. Nick was asleep, in her bed of course, and thus she couldn't waste time... Well sleeping.

It was rude I know, to not extend my hand to shake hers. Hello tried, budging my hand out a bit but then I pulled it back, folding my arms like I was cold and still looking at the floor. But then my stomach stepped in, growling. So I spoke up. "Uh, do you....know where I can find some food?"

"If he's anything like you, I don't think I will talk to him." I said coldly, folding my arms again and continuing to glare up at Lynki.

"Not a clue!" She said. "Uh...let's go look!"
She smiled even brighter.

"I don't know.....maybe I should just go back to my room." Oh come on, idiot much Jason? Here was a girl who was offering to help you find some food, and you're thinking of hiding back in your room? Grow a pair dammit. "On...on second thought....okay."

oh great another higher year student

"I don't think he's anything like me. He has no art." I look at Lucas and stick my tongue out with a grin.

Rei nodded, stepping back.
"Alrighty! Where shall we start?"

"Uh, I don't know. I've....I've already looked everywhere I can think of." Granted, that wasn't entirely true. There were other places I could try, but I was.....afraid of running into people.

I fix Lynki with a hard glare, my face a mask of controlled anger as my head whirled at him. He has the nerve to say that too my face! And in front of a FRESHMAN?!?! I merely growled, "Just watch your back around him, freshman." I then started to storm off for the second year dorms, my face still red with anger.

"Oh. Then. Sigh."
Rei rubbed the back of her head. "Uuuhh...dunno what to say now."

"Well...." Come on, don't stop talking now Jason, you're doing fine. Sort of. "Well, we could always look for a map. A place this big.....it's gotta have a map, right?"

I laugh and wave to Lucas. "Okay, see ya. See? Like me, but with no art." I look at Lily and laugh again.

"I wouldn't call idiocy art, "I sighed angrily, and pushed past Lynki, going back on my mission to find Rei,
"Just stay out of my hair and keep away from Rei." I said over my shoulder as I walked away.

"Everything is fair game! Nothing is sacred!" I laugh and head towards a tree, looking to climb it to try and move up onto the roof, or rather, 'a' roof. With any luck he could jump from one to the next, using Loki's speed boost to help him.

I turn my head back and stop, getting to within a few paces of Lynki, yelling at his disappearing form "I'm getting payback for what you did to me last year. Don't you forget that." And with that, I went to the second year dorms, still fuming.

Rei checked her pockets. "Forgot mine! Lets go....find someone!"
She smiled brightly. "Let's go!"

I could feel my conciousness returning as well as how empty my stomach was. I tossed and turned a bit before I decicded to get some food in me. I knew where the Cafeteria was from my previous walk. I sat up on my bed and rubbed my eyes to focus. I grabbed my vest and headed out the my room door, down the double flight of stairs and exited out of the dorm. I yawned while I proceeded to get some dinner.

I spun and waved to Lucas' retreating form. "I'll be waiting!" I called out. I wasn't really. I hate surprises, ironically. But, in the meantime, I'd just have to stay on my toes. I started hopping up the bark of the tree, grabbing onto the lower branches and hauling myself up slowly.

"Okay....sure." I was still nervous as hell talking to her.....Rei was her name, I think. Right now all I could think about was hiding back in my room, and finding safety in a book. But that ship had sailed. "Where....who should we ask?"

Still groggy from my nap I found myself heading in a different direction. This place looked too much the same with low light. I stopped and looked around for a familiar landmark. I saw an unusual set of trees that I remembered from earlier. Now I know where I am at. I walked past the trees now knowing where to go.

I continued to walk away from the dorms. I scanned the grounds, looking for that bright pink hair.

I saw it, double checked it was her and started to walk over.

be careful never know what creature lives up there,it might not take your invasion of it's home very well

"Ha, nothing lives in these trees. Even if they did I'd knock em away." I managed to get a good way up the tree, almost up to the top. It was going faster now that I had my feet able to push me up.

"Don't know!" She said brightly.
"This way!"

Rei started walking off down the path, back to where she found Nick.

"You don't know....and yet you're walking anyway. Well, been there done that...." Geez what it did take to depress this girl? She was all...bubbly, and happy. It wasn't bad, just....odd, especially to me. But shut up and followed her.

When I was close enough, I noticed the boy she was with.
It's just like her to make friends already, I thought to myself.

"Rei!" I shouted as I walked towards them.

My head turned as I saw another girl heading towards us, calling out Rei's name. It was now one too many, and I felt the need to disappear. But.....that would have been rude to Rei, so I went back to my usual position: looking at the floor and acting invisible.

Sitting on the bed, in the room that William was given.  He looked down to the blue (even though it was actually green) uniform the students were given on their way in(?)  He never liked them, the uniforms that is.  Maybe it was the color, or just how formal it was.  Taking his coat off and laying it on the bed, where he was sitting before, he reached for the uniform's coat.  He slipped his arms through the sleeves and shrugged it over his shoulders.  Will stuck his arms out, toward the mirror across the room.

"Arms are too short...  just like always..."

He looked down, his forearms almost completely exposed.

If you keep your arms straight down, it'll look normal.

Abel didn't change his other clothes, just wearing the academy coat over his average apparel, that being his pale green cargo pants and a brown T-shirt.  He looked into the mirror, staring at himself, his coat unbuttoned.

"Just another year..."

=gets bored watching lynki climb a tree so she decides to head torwards the other group and see what they were up to=

"Lily!"
The girl ran forward, glomping Lily. "But I thought you were sleeping?"
She tilted her head slightlt, her arms around Lily's neck.

I judge the distance between me and the closest building, the first year boys dorm. I adjust my stance, ready to jump and speed quickly when I will be as close to it as possible. A crouch, hesitant but oh so exhilarating, and then a leap. The tree swayed slightly from my jump and I was propelled into the air, soaring through the air toward the building. I could make it, but it would be very close. I engaged Loki's speed and a snap up to the top was done, but not fully. The backhalf of my feet were off the side of the building, I hadn't had time enough to let Loki recharge the speed. I should've waited a few more seconds! I started falling backwards, but had a plan. I kicked my feet out behind me, and sent my arms up and forward, grabbing the ledge as my feet dangled over a long drop down. I slowly pulled myself up, arms straining with the effort, and laughed to myself when I made it over the edge, my massive jester's grin never leaving my face as this took place.

Orion had been following Nick and Petra for a while, but eventually he'd diverged from the path, sitting outside and not really doing much. He was still a little tired himself, after the travel. He looked up, sighing as he rubbed his head, before heading back into the dorms.

Nick rolled over in his sleep, leaving space on the bed for one more, and putting his face nearer the wall.

Suddenly I found myself in a very familiar situation: ignored. An internal battle was waged inside me, one half considering vanishing, walking away and leaving Rei and....Lily, her name was. Another side urged me to stand my ground and introduce myself, or at the very least wait to be introduced. I ran a hand through my hair as I kept looking a the floor, my face twisted up in a grimace as I desperately sought an end to the battle. Eventually, in the brief amount of time I had, they came to a draw, and I ended up taking a few steps back without ever turning from the two.

"Some idiot woke me up." I said flatly, taking a step back from the impact of Rei's hug, "So who's your friend?" I asked, looking past her shoulder at the boy.

"His name is Jason! We're gonna be looking for some food. Want to join us?" She said happily, still hugging Lily.
