Soul Academy RP

My first stop was the cafeteria, grab some breakfast. I was curious about what they had to eat; probably pancakes, eggs, bacon..... The thought was enough that I started walking extra fast to get there, even though I kept my head down.

"I won't," I answered Rei, "Shall we go and get something to eat?"

=got everything ready for the day so she headed to the cafeteria to get some breakfast=

can't wait to eat

Rei nodded. "I...just need to leave some stuff in my room..." she said softly.

I nodded and walked to the door of the bathroom, gently guiding Rei by the hand.
"Do you mind if I go get something from my room?" I asked, "I'll come straight back."

Frei quickly got dressed and starting heading towards her room, drying her hair with her towel as she went along. Based on the school uniform, she would have to find a way to hook Frost onto her clothing without it just being awkward.

Lynki had been getting dressed from his rapid-fast shower, taking barely any time for the water to warm up before stopping and going back to his room to get dressed. He was struggling with the shirt, having forgotten how to get it all right and look like it should. As Frei started walking back, he finally got the right tabs in the right spots and headed out to eat.

Rei nodded. "I'll wait here..."
She let go reluctantly, heading into her room.

My need to feed overpowered my need to relax. After getting our of the shower I headed to the cafeteria to eat. I grabbed some oatmeal and sat down.

It didn't take long before I reached the cafeteria. It was mostly empty, except for a few people who were starting to show up. I grabbed a tray, and piled on the necessities: eggs, bacon, pancakes, a bagel, cream cheese for the bagel, and a muffin. I could have said I was a growing boy and needed the food but in all honesty......I just enjoyed eating.

Putting her things away and picking up ALL THE WEAPONS and setting them on, Rei waited outside her room for Lily.

I quickly ran down the stairs and to my room. Once inside, I picked up my soul from the desk, attaching it to a belt and wrapping the belt around my waist.

If those girls come back, I thought, I'd like to have this.

As a precaution, I practiced drawing the blade differently, so that I twisted the blade into a non-lethal blow.

Sliding it back into my saya, I walked back to Rei's room.



When I arrived, I saw that she was carrying all of her weapons.
"Rei," I said, gently, "Take some of them off."

Rei looked at her feet.
"But...Lily...what...what if people come back?"
She hugged herself out of fear.

"I have my sword," I said, almost coldly, "And you need to be faster than them, bring Akatsuki, but leave the others here."

Rei nodded, then placed all her swords on the desk.

Returning to Lily, she took her off hand, then just kinda snuggled against Lily's side.

Sitting down at a different table than before, I quickly dug in, though not that fast. When it came to bacon, you savored the taste. Same with the pancakes. Okay so I just need to report to my home room, and then go from there. Easy.

In that span of time, I finished with an uneventful shower, dried off and put on my uniform, and then headed back to my room to get my soul. I grabbed it and my other weapons and headed off to the cafeteria to get some much needed breakfast.

I was starving, and I made may way there uneventfully. Hopefully, no surprises awaited me as I got some food before I went to my homeroom.

I woke up staring at the ceiling. The white, popcorn ceiling.... God this place isn't anything like home. I sigh and sit up to look around.
My bag was still on my desk... oh yeah. I didn't unpack yesterday. I just went to sleep. Riiiight. I remember now.
Last night I didn't care much, just slept in my clothes. Not that I'd ever have to wash them, I have uniforms now.
Actually... when I get free time I could use it... I reminded myself. So yeah, I'd need to wash them sometime.

But until then I grabbed a towel, Painkiller, a uniform, of course my tootbrush and went out on my way to the showers.

Once I was done and had disposed of the plates and tray, I headed for home room. Ironically I had walked past it three times yesterday, while trying to find the cafeteria. So finding it now was easy. As I approached the door, was struck with a dilemma: where to sit? If I sat in the back and in a corner, I would be isolated, away from everyone. But if I sat upfront and near the door, I could get out quickly, ahead of the crowd.

I finished my breakfast with swiftness, eager for the first day. I returned to my room to pick up my pack and Escrimas and headed to homeroom. On arrival the slowly opened the door and calmed my nerves. I could see that a few people where already waiting for homeroom to start. I picked a seat in the middle and by the window to get a view of outside.

Sighing, I walked into class, and grabbed a seat b the edge. It was far back enough that I'd escape notice, but close enough to the door that I could get out in a pinch.

=gets done eating so puts the plates etc where they belond and heads to homeroom and finds the seat in the back corner of the room room near the window open so goes and sits there=

I walked into the cafeteria with Rei, picking up some toast as I got my food.

I scanned the room as Rei got her own food, looking for a place to sit.

Rei also grabbed some toast, also grabbing some cinnamin buns and a glass of chocolate milk.
She let Lily look for a table...prefering to keep her head down.

Petra had woken up, taken a shower, gotten dressed, the usual patter of things. She didn't feel hungry, and well, was probably later than anyone else as of right now, decided to make her way to homeroom, skipping breakfast.

So....when does class start? I thought to myself, as I sat in class. It slowly, gradually started to fill up, but there were still a lot of empty chairs. I wondered if anyone I saw before would be there in class with me. Who knew. It wold still be the same result: I'd be scared, afraid, and unwilling to actually make contact.

Frei was soon dressed in her shool uniform and heading to the cafeteria after the incident in the showers. Frost was hooked on the back of her skirt, the firing handle being used to keep it in place. She glanced around as she went, noting the location of several buildings she hadn't seen yet or been into. A minute later or so, she was in the cafeteria, grabbing a tray of food and looking for a spot to sit down. She took a spot on the far end of an empty table, leaving enough room for anybody who wanted to sit to be able to. A quick glance around the room revealed the two girls from earlier. The ones from the showers.

As I glanced around the cafeteria, I noticed the girl who had stood up for Rei earlier.
I didn't thank her. I thought, as my eyes paused on her table. I started walking towards her, carrying my plate in both hands.

Rei followed behind, her entire ability focused solely on following Lily.

Frei watched the two of them get closer. She bragged the apple from the corner of her tray and took a bite, enjoying the cold feeling of the fruit on her gums and teeth.

Petra walked into Homeroom, and glanced around quickly, before making her way to a seat.

I put my plate down on the table, keeping my eyes on the girl opposite me as I sat.
"Thank you for standing up for Rei." I said flatly as I sat down.

Frei nods. "A crowd usually means trouble. The first day of school shouldn't have any trouble, at least nothing that isn't academic like missing schedules or locker combos." She took another bite and looked the girl up and down.

I ate my toast without another word, silently watching the girl, and subconsciously, Rei.
"My name is Lily Ito."

"Frei Sutton." Came the reply. "What's your weapon?" followed closely behind. Frei finished up her apple and moved on to the little pile of mashed potatoes.

"A Katana," I said, finishing my toast and wiping crumbs off of my mouth with a small napkin, "What about yourself?"

"Crossbow. Named Frost. What does your sword do?" Frei asked, scratching a little at an itch on one of her tattoos as she keeps eating the potatoes.

"It's cold." I said, standing with my plate, "If it does anything else, I wouldn't know."

"Just like Frost then." Frei said, finishing her last bite of food and standing up. "Your hair makes your head appear very round." she said, before grabbing her tray and walking over to the trash cans to dump the remains away.

So, it had been a few minutes since I sat down, and we still had time before class started. I really wish I had brought my book with me, as a means to pass the time. Instead, all I had was an empty journal meant for notes, a pencil, and a few textbooks all stored in my bag.

Frei put the tray into the 'dirty tray' spot near the trash can and headed off towards Homeroom.

Lynki, on the other hand, was eating even slower, waiting until the last possible second to head off to homeroom. A quick check on his memory gave him how long it usually takes, so he added some more time to that to accommodate a new room and spot in the cafeteria. As Frei walked on, he ate and enjoyed his meal for longer, giving him plenty of mirth and joy to use and spread around furing the school year.

"Nick, why is it that every time I come into homeroom, you're always the only one here?"

"Because everyone is outside, socializing."

"Yeah, why aren't you?"

"Same reason I don't talk to anyone who lives in Magnus during the summer breaks."

"Oh yeah, why do you do that?"

Nick shrugs, "I don't care enough to do so."

"Uh"

At that moment, students begin to enter the class.

"Rei Sizuke. War Naginata." She said softly.

She finished quickly, and followed Lily silently, and at first chance, took Lily's hand, eye on the floor.

I just ate my breakfast in silence like usual. I was used to it. I had a simple breakfast, then took over my plate and headed for my homeroom, another year of diligent and silent work, trying to one up the next person in the room. Lonely, I'm sure, but I made do with it.

I walked out of the cafeteria, and to my homeroom with Rei.

I decided to take up my time with drawing, something I actually enjoyed. Granted, I was no great artist but I did okay, and I liked to think I got better. Soon, the image I drew became more clearly defined and I realized I was drawing the hero from my story, as I imagined them in my head. Armor, a cloak, and a sword that was opposite mine and made of pure white.

A minute later, Lynki stood up and headed off to homeroom while Frei was just arriving at hers, and was looking for her desk. While Lynki moved, he added little dances and moves to his movements, making him sway back and forth as he moved down the hall. A little while later and he arrived, swaying into the room to sit down at his desk.

I walked in, Rei walking close to me, and scanned the room for seats. Finding two, I led Rei to them, sitting in the leftmost one of the two, while Rei took the one next to me.

I glanced at the clock, it was almost time to start.

I glanced back to the room. Most of the seats were filled and we had only a minute left until class started. I guess daydreaming had done its purpose. I stretched a little and waiting for the class to start.
