ZRP-2 Chapter 7: Mutation

"Okay, that looks like everyone," James said. "Cooper and Marcus are in their own car, they'll follow us. Think we have about fifteen people with us on this raid......hope it'll be enough." The door to the tank closed, and he waited for Hibiki to start driving. "We're going North for this, so the gate by the river."

The tank lurched forward.
"The tank is low and ammo and gas. We can't provide much support." She grimaced. "Go in hard, avoid gunfire. Knives and neck breaks. Don't pause. Don't stop."

"So.......blitzkrieg?" James asked. "Pretty much James," Sam said. "We go in fast and hard, take them out before they have time to know what hit them."

When Sarah overheard that, her nerves suddenly seemed to fade. Her expression became one that Andrew hadn't seen since his interrogation by her. It was one that sent chills up his spine. Even her tone was different as she said, "Good...fine by me. I want to see them suffer as much as we have...they deserve every bit of pain...that we give them."

It was an icy and cruel tone. She took out her blade, finding a macabre comfort in it. One thought echoed in her mind.

I will kill them...I will kill them, and then step back and watch them burn...

The group of vehicles headed for the north gate, already starting to open for them as they approached and accelerated with the tank in the lead. One by one they left the compound, a single file procession aimed to attack and steal. And thus they were on their way to assault a dragon and steal from its horde.
