Idea dumplings

Ideas I'm working on:

Story(ies)/Roleplay(s) that include:

-Fantasy elements e.g Elves, Orcs, Dwarves, Magic, Fey, undead, et cetera.
-Historical elements i.e based on Ancient Roman ideals, architecture, religion/beliefs, politics, culture or German, Greek, Celtic, you get the idea.
-Minimal character formats i.e. Character creation has minimal detail e.g Name, Sex (not gender), Appearance. Age, auto/biography not necessary and to be explored in story/Roleplay.
-Characterisation through story and expression not pre-determination.
-Group story telling i.e each person continues the story with the same group of characters from the previous post as such in each post the story is advanced/enhanced through character interaction that the poster thinks is appropriate. Within every post the poster will control all of the characters and act as them so long as the action fits the character.
-Exploration of the self through School, faith-rituals, and life.
-Localized vs. Worldly settings.

Out of curiosity, why does everyone on this site seem to like DnD style fantasy so much, with Undead and whatnot? I've never seen such a strong support for it on a non-fantasy site before.

Well, I can only answer for myself, and I grew up reading more fantasy than sci-fi.

You both missed my point. I don't mean why do you like Fantasy, I mean this sites specific choice of Fantasy. Like, unless the general community leans against it, most sites go for Tolkien or Elder Scrolls esque Fantasy, maybe WoW. But this site always seems distinctly DnDish. It's rather interesting. Like, there's always undead and necromancers, and that shocks me beyond anything else.
