Mahou Shoujo RP

Valentina flumped back onto the soft, warm sand and gave a little yawn, covering her mouth with her hand. She loved Saturdays where she could spend the whole day doing absolutely nothing. Well. Unless a Witch showed up. But they rarely did on weekends. Valentina thought that was quite considerate of them actually. The sounds of the waves splashing onto the shore slowly forced her eyes closed and Valentina began to doze off.

Isabella floated lazily in the pool, staring blankly at the sky. Her friends had asked if she wanted to meet them at the beach today, but Isabella hadn't responded. Her phone was out of arm's reach now, anyway, and she couldn't be bothered moving. Eventually, she'd have to leave her pool. But that wasn't now. She closed her eyes and continued to float.

Valentina daydreamed of cones of ice cream behind her eyelids. A soft smile drifted across her face. A cloud floated over the sun, giving a moment of shade followed by warmth rolling up her body as it became once more exposed to the sun.

Isabella thought briefly about ordering herself some food, but that would mean swimming over to her phone and placing an order. Her parents weren't home either, which meant she'd also have to go to the door, pay for the food, and carry it back outside. She felt her shoulder bump against the pool's edge, and with a lazy flick over her finger, she pushed herself back to the middle.

Valentina felt her hair glide up as a light breeze blew through the sands around her. The soft thud thud coming closer made her raise her hand up just above where it lay, perfectly in time for the cone to be shoved into her grasp. She keeps her eyes closed, bringing the arm up slowly and extending her tongue to meet the soft ice cream now in front of her.

Isabella heard someone speaking, and despite the water muffling his voice, she knew who it was, and what he was saying.
"Nope," She answered, despite having not heard him, "Today's my day off." More muffled speaking followed, but she'd already stopped paying attention. "Tell Valentina about it." She added, slowly drifting back to her relaxed state.

Valentina continued licking the ice cream until her tongue found the cone underneath. The girl next to her was chattering away, but Valentina wasn't listening. Only adding in a nod and a 'Mh' when necessary. Her daydreams had shifted to swimming in the ocean now. Something that was around four feet away from her, the spray tickling her feet.

Isabella vaguely noticed the fox-cat-thing leave, hopefully to get someone else to deal with what he'd been talking about, but Isabella didn't care anymore. She had her nice, peaceful afternoon back. She'd do it later, if nobody else did. Or so she told herself, but she knew she was lying.

Valentina frowned as the soft, furry thing stepped onto her chest. She frowned at the words and rolled her eyes underneath the lids. She sat up almost right away, causing QB to flump onto the sand between her legs. Valentina stretched her arms and nodded to her friends. "I'll be back later." She smiled at them, climbed onto her feet and began the walk off of the beach.

Isabella yawned, before splashing some water on her face. This was nice. Just her, the sun, and the pool. No fighting, no loud noises. It was nice. She'd go and get herself a cold drink soon, but she wanted to enjoy herself a little more first.

Valentina changed into her usual outfit, leaving her bag in the lockers. From there, she wandered through the town, flicking a grief seed she'd kept for a while up and down in her hands until she finally came to the house. A short hop over the outer wall and she was shortly stood outside the front door.

Valentina smiled and with her spirit gem in hand, she tapped the grief seed to it, draining the darkness from within. The grief seed began to glow white and Valentina placed it on the ground, ringing the door bell before turning around and walking off to hunt down the Witch that QB had told her about.

Isabella heard the doorbell ring, followed by her soul gem glowing. She frowned, opening her eyes as she pulled herself out of the pool. Rather than dry herself, she walked around the house to the front door. There was nobody there, but her soul gem was pulsing as though there was a-

She noticed it as it hatched.

Valentina walked along through the warm streets, still barefoot from the beach and enjoying the feeling of the stone on her skin. Her Soul Gem was in her hand, slowly glowing as she searched the town but there was little sign so far and she was almost reaching the southern-most reaches of both her and Isabella's territory.

Starting at the end of the Witches' labyrinth was a little confusing for Isabella, but it definitely made things easier. She waited a couple more minutes for the seed to actually hatch, rather than just throw out its barrier. Once it did, she was ready. Already transformed, scythe in her hands, she launched a relentless series of attacks. It tried to run, but Isabella's day was already ruined, and she wasn't going to waste any more of her weekend chasing it down. She swung her weapon, the top-most part vanishing into the air, only the reappear in the witches path, removing what seemed to be its head.

As the barrier faded, Isabella took note of her new record, and picked up the new grief seed. There was only one person who'd leave a ready to hatch seed on her doorstep, and once she'd reached her phone, she sent a text to the girl in question.
"Bitch."

After reaching the southern edge of the territory and walking all the way along to the western edge with still no lead, Valentina decided to call it a day. The Witch had obviously moved elsewhere into the town and that'd be another girls problem. There was more than enough of them quarrelling over the territory to the South. But none of them had dared come North.

She half closed her eyes again as her phone buzzes. Reading the text made Valentina only smile more as she begins her walk back to the beach where she started.

After cleaning her soul gem, Isabella stuck the grief seed in her bag and lay down on one of the loungers around the pool. Now that she was out of the pool, she didn't want to get back in. And she still had to pay Valentina back. Finally, she answered her friends that she'd meet them in about twenty minutes.

Valentina stopped at the edge of the road, staring at the beach and the water. A cold shiver ran down her spine and she frowned. In the twenty degree heat, that was definitely not right. She walked over to the shed in which her locker lay, collected her bag and shoes and slipped off again towards the road. She pulled her shoes on, swung her bag around her shoulders and began the walk back home.

Isabella threw her clothes on, and started to walk down to the beach. In the distance, she spotted someone. Grinning to herself, Isabella reached out, her hand disappearing in front of her. She gripped something between two fingers, and pulled her hand back. When it reappeared, she was holding a hat. Smiling proudly, she put it on and continued towards the beach.

Valentina snatched her up at the hat as it left her head, but ended up grasping thing air. She frowned and turned around, catching sight of Isabella down the road. Valentina switched quickly to a smile and a wave to the other girl.
