Cor- Vatel, clearly that is the only option now. We cannot allow these drones to simply kill off innocent marines.

Vat- Tell them to return fire ONLY if attacked first. I dont what this getting any worse than it already is. If what the blue Spartan told me is true, this should be resolved shortly...

=I had flown around Haven's interior for nearly five hours, before I decided to touch down back at that landing zone for the ship. After that, there wasn't really much left to do=

Vat- Yea, im here.

Zeru tells me that, as long as you cover up anything that marks you as UNSC, the drones won't attack you. And we can't call them back because something or jamming our signals to them.

Vat- Well, thats a little bit difficult considering that almost all of the marines and helljumpers have UNSC tattoos somewhere on their bodies, and the only sort of clothing, tarps, blankets, etc, all have UNSC markings somewhere. Also, i feel that i should let you know, the soldiers have been given permission to return fire on the attacking drones if need be.

Yea, I understand. The best I can say is, don't shoot anything manned, I suppose.

=Things had begun to slow down on Haven. Granted, business was booming, and trade was going fine. The only problem: it was trade between cities. Until we could establish trade routes with other worlds, we'd be stuck with the same old stuff we were currently trading: clothes and vegetables. Other than that, there was still plenty of good news. The schools were showing great scores, crime was minimal, and we were in the process of organizing our military force. So far, over a ten thousand candidates had been chosen to make up the initial army, while a thousand others had been chosen to play the role of the tower guards, (or the "Silver Guardians," as the Council called them)=

=She leans against him as the training session ends=

=She puts her head against his shoulder=

=Saker turns around to see the armor clad informant=

=The other men aim their guns on them=

Saker(smiling)-You were the one that allowed us in to kill Aaron.

=At this point, the Council finally got their military (or at least a very basic version of it.) So far, the troops were equipped with the equivalent of pistols. Maybe another month, and they would get the assault rifle versions. Also, the troops were set to be equipped with military versions of the Class 1 Combat Skins=

=i wander into the UNSC camp, just to say that I could. IT felt nice, being ablt to walk around the UNSC without getting shot on sight=

=Vatel was going over some plans with a handfull of ODSTs. They were under a tent of sorts, leaning over a table that was covered in a large map of the area around their camp. Vatel looks up from the map and sees Dormii. He waves=

What's going on?

=Vatel stands up straight, and cracks his back=

Vat- We were just going over Some ideas to explore the area, and possibly salvage some of the Covie tech left behind. ONI is a little bit disappointed that the Forerunner tech we were sent here to get turned out to be just a rumor.

=He had exited the bunker and went out to a concealed position=

Warren-Everything looks...

Calen-What.

=He brings up the binoculars=

Warren-Enemy squad, hiding.

Calen-Damn! They knew about the fallback.

Warren-Do not worry. We can take care of them.

I sigh. "Matt, you just ate all the meat for this mess-hall. Some people aren't going to be happy."
The Dragon, Matt, follows be to the hanger, where we get back in the ship and head planet-side, to where the others are. or rather, Where Dormii's signal was, because the Doctor still had it active.

=While the military may have been formed, they still had a way to go as far as training went. A targeting range had been set up for them to test out the pistols, and it turned out the little things were lethal. They fired blue bolts of plasma instead of the usual blobs, and they could even be adjusted for the size of the bolt: a large, fist sized bolt of plasma for heavy damage, or a tiny, finger sized bolt for accurate, surgical attacks. As for the combat skins, they weren't that much different from the Security Teams combat skin: they added speed and strength, but only by around 15%. Despite that, they were proving to be a formidable force............at least in the training field=

=Silenced shots ring out, killing the two in the bushes=

Think we might be able to give some more armor to the Pelicans?

'I don't see why not. We might lose a few more birds doing it though.'

What do you mean?

'To get that armor, we need to take it from something else.'

Oh, right, right. Just take apart some of the more wrecked birds, the ones which are going to fall apart easily or the ones that just aren't fixable.
