=I was in the control room with Silver. We were going over the schematics the engineers had sent us for the ship designs. There were a lot. I counted at least three designs for high tonnage ships, though only two designs for the medium tonnage vessels. As for the smaller classes, there were maybe three ships, frigates and corvettes. And there was only one design for the fighters. One thing I noticed: the designs were all, more or less, stolen from one of the old tv shows Haven got=

I swear, as a race, we have no imagination when it comes to making ship designs.

Oh, I wouldn't say that. While some of the designs are copies, the rest are variations, and in many ways innovations.

Yeah, but still. It makes us seem like thieves.

Perhaps. But in order to create and imagine, one usually has to take another's idea.

Still, I can't help but feel like we'll all need lawyers soon. Anyway, based on the schematics, and the materials, and the reverse engineered tech, how soon before the first group of ships is done? And by group, I mean something around maybe five or six ships.
