C577 "Butter Knife"

The C577 is an explosive used to make entrances in the hull of ships, it is placed on the front of boarding pods and creates a hole in the hull of the ship with a shaped charge when the pod makes contact with the hull, seals in the pod then mold the pod to the ship to prevent a vacuum being created and then the boarding party enters the ship.

CH67

The CH67 is the bigger brother of the C577, instead of makeing a small hole in the ship it cuts the ship in half, it uses a fusion reactor to send out a wave of plasma energy the moves outwards in a circle, the superheated plasma disintagrates every thing in its path until it dies out, these charges are used to isolate sections of a ship and are most effective from inside the hull.
