Biography: Opening U.N.S.C. file ///:59 - Alphonse Zolomon. Taken from Reach, which was pretty easy because he lived nearby.
He is Spartan II. Rarely interacted with the other children, besides Spartan 098. Who is currently dead. Hes made some tricks. Duel-wielding one handed weapons, using empty rocket launchers as beating sticks, throwing assault rifles. etc. etc.
Has several scars from close combat with Zealots. Quiet but dislikes being told how to do his job. He doesn't kill soldiers unless they're armed either. Loves to please, so over all something useful to U.N.S.C.
Recently has been convicted of grand felony and has been exiled.
End of file.
Rp sample/ Extra bio While "growing up", he had only talked to Rachel, a girl he was training with. Not even that much. But they cared for each others' well being. Making sure both survived through it all. Giving one another medical and never leaving the other behind.
Also very comfortable together. Because of all this, they were switched into team training. But small team training.
And they're the only ones in the program. Namely, one of the first two man spartan teams. If there was any others.
Thats when Al started to fall in love with her, even against his greater intellect and training.
A couple years later the augmentation process began, supposedly making him loss most emotion. But since he had a great amount before then...
It didn't go away, his love for her.
But now he knew he has to hide it, for her sake. But he didn't know she had the same burden as he did. Her love for him.
Their love only grew with the next nine years, fighting with each other. Saving the other countless times, protecting key locations.
Since that's what they did, protect. Its why their insignia is a shield. Why they're near perfect at civilian evacuations, military evacuations and key locations. And not only that, but they're also good for infiltrating, hacking and overall stealing information.
Memories...A Covenant corvette ship attacked while my ship was traveling back to Earth. It just exited slip-space, making our ships rattle and shake.
Everyone immediantly went into action, battle stations and whatnot. I had to help defend the ship. So I grabbed two other spartans and jumped into pods. Quickly finding our way into the Covenant ship through open hangar doors. Quickly fighting several bunchs of grunts, jackels and a bit of elites. All of which easily killed. Once that was done, we start towards the halls.
We moved quickly and silently. Putting down any in our way with speed. But as we neared energy door we realized that there was more that needed to go boom. More engines actually. With a almost unison sigh we trudged on through the shield. There waiting for us was three grunts, guarding. Pretty bad planning. Grunts for guards on your main engine. Smaaart. Anyway. Hugh took care of them as Ben set the charges. I stood guard. Ending doing a poor job of that. I looked over my shoulder to Ben and asked "How much longer?" "Not long."
He replied. I turned my head back to the door as a Ultra class Elite jumped towards me, holding an Energy Sword.
And two others follow behind him.
Instinctively I flung my gun up to block the sword's swing, only to prove pointless when it slices through the gun.
Now feeling incredibly stupid. Still. I pulled out my combat knife and threw it to my left hand. I was more of a lefty. Thankfully I didn't need to use it. Hugh gets close enough to fire his shotgun, pushing the Elite to the side and demolishing his shields. I put the knife back and got out my secondary weapon. A 45. Magnum. I shot six rounds into his chest, killing him.
All the while Ben had killed the other two from behind, with only his knife.
After that little skirmish we hurry to the next engine. With a couple shots the grunts here die. Ben starts setting the charges.
But this time nothing shows up in resistance. Not even in the next engine room. These two were pretty quiet.
And with the explosives set we no longer needed to be here. We went back to hanger where our pods are, finding that they're destroyed.
Covenant everywhere here, making it a damn good thing we weren't caught. So we thought since our pods are screwed we should try one of theirs? So we turn around and head for another hanger in hopes there will be something we can use.
In the halls we meet a lot of resistance, but we pull through. No casualties. Though ben was wounded by a grenade. Forcing him to a limp, slowing us down tremendously. We don't leave him behind, because we don't ever leave a man behind. Ever.
Finally we reach a decent sized hanger, filled with phantoms, banshees, serephs, plasma ammunition. Everything they use practically. All convientantly placed in here for our use.
Speaking of which, we all board an empty phantom. Ben's idea. I can't help but to question the pilot.
"Do we know
how to pilot a phantom?"
"First time for everything hm?"
"But wouldn't we get shot down? By both us and the Covenant?"
"No, they wouldn't because they might shoot their own and we're gonna tell the HOG that its us."
He takes awhile to figure it out. Also taking the covenant awhile to figure out we're in one of thier phantoms. Too late for them anyway. Before they can close the bay's door, we're already out. Of course we hit the roof a couple times before we do. We just learned.
Surprisingly we're quite fast, able to dodge missiles and such. Using this to make sure we don't die. During this I look around, finding that The humanity's flare is destroyed.
And in damaged but in okay condition is the Heart of Gold. There's explosions everywhere ranging from banshees, sabres and UNSC ships.
Phantoms retreat from Winter's Solstice, the ship exploding a minute later. As we fly towards the HOG, it launches rockets that fly by us. Hitting the ROS just as we land safely, Ben looks at the me and then hugh before pressing the button. A massive explosion can be seen for miles which especially audible. Magnificant in all ways one can be.
I step out of the phantom and Comm Rachel but she doesn't respond. This spikes me. If she is isn't talking...
That would been she's either dead or too hurt to talk. So I run at full speed to the medbay, taking little notice of people who bounce off me. When I get there I stop a nurse and ask. "Where is Spartan 098? Is she okay?" I barely hide my concern and worry in my voice.
She replies in a sad voice. "She is in room number twenty eight... but she only has a couple minutes before..." Her voice trails off.
When I hear this, I take a step back. "May I see her?" She nods before going to do what I held her up on. Then I walk into room.
There she is, laying in a bed hooked up to a bunch of machines. I walk up to her and kneel next to bed. She slowly turns her head to look at me.
I take my helmet off, revealing a emotionless face. "Looks like you're pretty banged up." She smiles and says.
"No matter how much luck or skill you have, you can't save me this time." I shake my head in denial. "I can save you this time as I've done every other time."
She losses her smile. "But this time I've had expert doctors work on me and they said... said..." Her head drops to her side, the monitor flat lines.
And she was gone, just like that. Within a moment's notice... I've always wondered just exactly how she died. Also why I didn't bring her with me on the infiltration mission. And I've wondered why she didn't volunteer to come with me. Why she didn't already be at my side.
Looking back at it now, it all seems.... suspicious to me.
