Biography: Born into the Foral tribe at Dosiac, Vanmarus was next in line to become Chieftain of his tribe. This was a time when Jiralhanae were still at the bottom of Covenant Hierarchy. But times were changing, and Vanmarus knew this. As a young Jiralhanae, he would watch his father, along with Tartarus, continue to gain favor with the Prophets. Vanmarus, like most Jiralhanae, hated Sangheili, but not as most. When he finally inherited his father's assets, he was set in command of a CSO Class Supercarrier in charge of guarding the Ark. When the Prophet of Truth ordered the Jiralhane to assume complete control over the Covenant military, Vanmarus followed willfully. But after the war and the Jiralhane's failure, Vanmarus has let Sangheili of Verasee clan and Foral tribe get to know each other. Much of his time is spent simply getting to understand the Sangheili better. Currently, he is trying to talk to a Shipmaster of the Crusading Spirit fleet, after hearing a distress signal from an Insurgent planet.
