Biography:

James was once a member of the UNSC Marine Corps. He served several tours against the Covenant, until his next rotation put him in the path of Delta and the XNNO fleets campaign against human colonies. He was soon captured and taken prisoner, among several million other colonists, before being liberated by Jason Shepard who proceeded to relocate the POW's to Haven. Once a form of military was created, James was among the first to enlist, using his past experience as a Marine to quickly rise among the ranks. During training scenarios he and his squads achieved top marks, and it was this success that led to him being promoted to Lieutenant and put in charge of Alpha Team, Haven's first true Special Warfare unit.

Age: 27

Race: Human Female, Hispanic.

Skills: Close Quarters Combat, knife fighting. Good with pistols, sub-machine guns, and shotguns, anything meant for close range. Very fast and agile. Also has training as a field medic. Good at Football. (Not American football, cannot stress that enough.)

Role: Corporal, second in command of Alpha Team, close range specialist, team medic.

Biography:

Born on a colony world, Chris lived with her mother, who insisted on using her full first name despite Chris begging her not to. Her mother always wanted a daughter that was polite and neat at all times, and wore dresses. Chris however, did not want to be that kind of daughter. Though she loved her mother, she didn't want to be a thing like the image her mother had for her, choosing instead to live a tomboyish lifestyle. When she got older and moved out of the house, she had thoughts on joining the UNSC to fight the Covenant, but then her world was attacked by the XNNO fleet. She and her mother were taken prisoner by the fleet, along with much of the colonies population until they were liberated by Jason Shepard and brought to Haven. Not willing to risk a repeat of history, she joined the military first chance she got.

Name: Trevor Wierzbowski

Age: 31

Race: Human male, Eastern European descent.

Skills: Excellent sniper, maintains a calm and cool demeanor. Moderate skill in hand to hand. Specializes in long range weapons, however medium and close range weaponry are not his strongest suits. Still exceptional with pistols. Very good with a knife, and knows how to follow tracks. Used to be a game hunter.

Role: Private, Alpha team sniper and recon specialist.

Appearance: 5 ft 8 inches. Short, blonde hair, light blue eyes, white skin.

Biography:

Trevor is a third generation colonist, born and raised on one of the colony worlds that was attacked by the XNNO fleet. Before the attack, he made his profession as a game hunter, honing his exceptional skills as a marksman, and as a tracker. An only child, his parents died in an accident during his early teen years so he's learned to live alone, and rely only on himself. While he does not view relying on others as a weakness, he sees it as something he in particular does not fully need. When the XNNO fleet came to his world, he was captured along with the rest of the colony, until he and the others were freed by Jason and brought to Haven. The only reason he enlisted in Haven's military was that he realized that Haven would need all the experienced troops it could muster in order to prevent a repeat of the XNNO attacks.

Age: 30

Race: Human, male. Caucasian

Skills: Very strong for a normal human with no augmentations. Skilled with explosives of all kinds. Also good with heavy weapons.

Role: Private, heavy weapons and demolitions specialist.

Appearance: 6 feet tall. Thick dark hair, heavily muscled.

Biography:

Crowe was a colonist, and worked as a construction/demolition worker within his local city. When the XNNO fleet attacked, he did what he could to hold them off, but his efforts proved futile, especially when he saw that his actions were putting others in danger. Surrendering, he was taken prisoner aboard one of the XNNO ships, along with millions of other colonists. He and the rest of the imprisoned humans were liberated soon after by Jason Shepard, who relocated all of them to Haven for a fresh start. Crowe wanted to aid in construction of housing for the civilians, but found that between existing housing and construction Sentinels, his skills as a constructor were not required. However, his demolition skills were valuable to the military, so he enlisted there.

Name: Samantha Cole

Age: 28

Race: Human, female.

Skills: Very skilled dropship pilot, able to fly without need for a co-pilot. Moderate skill at pistols and some basic hand to hand, but prefers flying.

Role: Flight Lieutenant, Pilot for dropship Blacklight, chauffeur for Alpha Team.

Appearance: 5 ft 10 in. Short red hair, trimmed to short length. Gymnasts build. Light freckled skin, green eyes.

Biography:

Raised on a colony world, Sam had a job as a pilot for cargo shuttles in industrial yards. Heavy loads of freight were often assigned to her, mostly by her superiors trying to make a point that a dock worker was not a 'girls job.' In response, she worked hard enough to earn employee of the month three years running. When the XNNO fleet attacked her world, she tried to aid in evacuations of civilians, however her ship, and its occupants, were captured. When she and the prisoners were freed and brought to haven, she tried looking for work in the new ship yards, but couldn't compete with the organization of the Sentinels, so she joined Havens Air Force and qualified for a dropship pilot. He skills were marked higher than others, and it garnered the attention of the Admiral, enough so that he assigned her to serve as Alpha Teams pilot.

Code:

Alpha Team is the first special forces team of Haven's military. Handpicked by both Admiral Shepard and the intelligence group Vigil, each member was screened by use of their psych evaluations, test scores, and training records. They are considered the best Haven has to offer, and the first of what will become the Special Warfare branch of Haven.
