Enlisted year 2539.  

Finished basic training in the year of 2540.

Finished Sniper training in the year 2540.

Promoted to the rank of Corporal in the year of 2541.

Finished training for the 19th Shock Troops Battalion in the year of 2541.  

Promoted to the rank of Sergeant in the year 2545.  

Put into ODST unit "OXEN" In the year 2545.

Promoted to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant in the year 2546.  

Promoted to rank Lieutenant, and put in charge of unit "OXEN" after Lieutenant Daniel Barnes was reported KIA on a mission on Skopje, in the year of 2547.  

Demoted to the rank of corporal, For shooting and killing an Office of Navel Intelligence agent for reasons unkown.  
Charged for twenty five to life imprisonment.  ONI officials dropped charges for reasons unknown.  Corporal Durrett was disbanded from unit "OXEN" in the year 2551.

Assigned to the UNSC space station "Spire" in the year 2551.

Put into Spartan-IV program in June 2553.

Oxen squad:
Formed in 2535, and led by one Gunnery Sergeant Daniel Barnes.  Oxen was formed to be a versatile squad of Marines, majority of them are Orbital Drop Shock Troopers, but the rest are Marines that proved themselves valuable.  They were developed to carry out small strike missions, Reconnaissance missions, and simple support missions.

Because not all the Marines in Oxen squad are trained in dropping from Pods right in the middle of combat, they are usually deployed from pelicans, And other air vehicles, such as Sparrows, or Hawks.
