I'm saying that he has a guilty conscience. That's why he has been trying to take down Vigil; it's not because they wronged him, it's because they made him do terrible things, things that still haunt him. He want's redemption for himself, even if that mean he has to die.

=I woke up about forty minutes later, and found myself more or less alone in the med-bay. I say more or less because, well, Adam was there=

It would have been worse not to tell her. She would have done more than beat the life out of me.

You couldn't have known that. The outcome of not telling her was a mystery, while the outcome of telling her, is a certainty.

Doesn't matter. I won't lie to her. Not about that. I care for her too much to lie to her about what happened, and if she wants to beat me to death, then that is fine by me.

=I held back the tears that were forming. Argo was right. He may not have been human, but he was right. I knew Jason very well, and there was no way he was the monster I had envisioned for my brother's killer. I made the choice: I got up, and headed for the med-bay=

I wish we never landed on the planet.
Should have just blown the ship up in space.
The Spore spreads faster than I remembered.
It infected people incredibly fast.
This planet was doomed.
Enough people had been infected by the Flood, a GraveMind was forming already.
A group of Civilians manages to lock themselves in a room, they didn't last long.
I can still hear the screams.
I ran to the nearest vehicle when we landed, and got everyone on the planet.
I drove to the nearest UNSC base and immediately called in Flood Protocol.
I was on the first ship out.
I was the only Passenger, beside the pilot.

=Adam and I glared at each-other for a bit, but eventually, he backed off=

@ Jason- Fine, drown in your guilt.

I've been drowning in my guilt for three years now. I'll manage.

=A few minutes later, Miri walked into the med-bay. She looked terrible: Her eyes were red from crying, and I could see the Ice Cream still on her lips. Not a good sign=

=I fly out to the docking bay=

Have some of the guys head down to the docking bay that person is going to to make sure our guest doesn't try anything. I'm going down to meet him myself.

=i go over to the door and bow to the rest of the bridge crew, getting a few chuckles for it, then turning and heading down to the hanger=
I need to find more people. This place is barely running as it is...

=I notice the hanger open and I gracefully land the Sabre=

=I look out and around to see people gather around. Weapons ready=

=Another smile breaks as I take Kane out and place him into the Tac/Pad. I open the hatch and hop down. Waving to the others=

=I walked into the med-bay a few minutes after leaving the Blacklight. I found Jason lying on one of the beds. He looked bad: His chest was bandaged, no doubt from having his ribs set after a second time. But his jaw was held together, no doubt from it being broken by my kicks. (hey, I may have been a normal human, but believe me, I was no wilting flower. I was more steel artwork)

Hello there, Kris, I believe it was. Welcome to the Dead and Back! How are you, this fine day, night, morning, evening, or noon-time?

=I pulled up a chair next to Jason's bed. His eyes were focused on me, and I could see a multitude of emotions: sorrow, self-loathing, and fear. Jason, was afraid of me=
