I'll pretend that I did not just hear that. Well, if you want, we got a pool, a firing range, a workshop. All of which you are allowed to use. You can bring Miranda if you want.

I wake up, and start to walk around the ship.

Yeah, I don't know. I was actually planning on going planetside. Taking a hike.

=I was really tempted to give her the finger, but I decided not to. Hey, some things, you just let slide. Anyway, I was at the elevator, when I remembered that my armor was still in my room. I walked back into the dining room, towards my room=

"Good....finally able to get some rest. Do you guys need anything?"

No not really. Hey, have you gotten a chance to explore the ship at all?

"I've just been walking around...Trying to figure out my way. It's a big ship, but I do know most of it."

We stormed the encampment.
They didn't even see us coming.
Right after the hurricane, there was still a fierce storm raging, but the winds had died down. We moved over the grass and through the ferns silently. The cover of night, we were death, creeping in on little cat feet. No one talked for fear of being discovered. We entered through the holes torn by the storm. We used every advantage we could. The earth was soft, the sound of rain loud, our every step concealed. We had learned which areas were still patrolled, and moved through the holes between them, or we killed the patrols. The storm and ruined the tents that most of the troopers had been forced to live in. We were armed with Knives, machetes, and other primitive weapons. They had the technological advantage over us, but we had surprise, and the cover of the storm. We moved in silently and left silently. Many lives were taken that night. We suffered no casualties.

(Miranda)

=I laughed=

Oh, touchy today, aren't we?

(Jason)

=I walked into my room, and started to get my armor on. A few minutes later, I was on the elevator, heading for the cargo bay, to the weapons room. If I was going for a hike, i may as well bring some weapons. I had no idea what kind of animals were on this planet, and it wouldn't hurt to be careful=

"Nah....it's good. I'll just find my way aro-.....actually...do you have a technician that can check out a Personal A.I system?"

=i shrug=
I can help, if you want. Computers are my specialty.

=A few minutes later, after i had packed a bag with some water, snacks, and weapons, I was on my way to the grav lift=

Okay, maybe what I packed was a bit much, but to be fair, I am going outside the town. No telling what's around.

"If you have time...." I take the A.I module. "Look him over...."

Yeah, I'll look him over. Anything specific?

"Just see if everything is intact man."

Yeah, I'll do it. Hey, if you get a chance, check out the pool. It's a good place to relax for a while.

=I rode the grav lift down to the planet, and a minute later, I was on the ground, and walking past the town. I made my way to the woods nearby, and I found a trail I could follow=

=i walk to the workshop. I plug the Ai module in and start a diagnostic=

We arrived at the mountain. It was one of the taller mountains. The tribals called it "Skyrim" because it looked like it was at the rim of the sky. Marching up the mountain is one of the most physically draining feats i have ever had to do. Carrying packs weighing up to a hundred pounds hiking and climbing up a mountain. The snow made somethings easier, and others hard. When the time came for climbing up the side of the mountain, the snow made certain feats more dangerous than they already were. Men were yelling warriors chants to boost morale. It was truly an interesting sight. We trudged through the snow on Skyrim, making foot prints that were deep and up to out waists. The sky had gone blue, we could see the tops of the storm clouds for all around. We were on top of the world.

=i kept the diagnostic running, and then left. I set it so if it was interupted or finished it would alert me via comm=

=I followed the trail for nearly two hours. I walked to the edge of the forest, and found myself at the base of a mountain. There was snow at the edge of those woods, and there was more further up. It turned shades of gold and bronze as it caught the sunlight. I climbed that mountain. I never got to the top, but I got to a point where the rock jutted out. The sun was setting by the time I got there, and as i looked out, I saw the woods, the town, and the lake. It was all so beautiful. I stayed there on that ledge, taking in that sight. These days, with so much darkness in life, sights like this were rare gems, that were worth holding on to=

=I stayed there for nearly an hour, then I decided to climb down. It took me a while, but nearly two hours later, I was at the entrance to the woods, and I was back in town. I rode the grav lift back up=

Looks like I didn't need those weapons after all.

=A few minutes later, i was back aboard the Trophaeum, and was walking back to the Serenity=

Damn, it's been a strange few days.

=While I was in my armor, I decided to bring up my personal playlist. "Life is a Highway," began playing in my helmet as I walked. It ended when i got back to my ship. I walked in, and rode the elevator down to the cargo bay. Once there, I stripped out of my armor, and put it away. I rode the elevator back to the crew deck. i walked into my room, and saw that Miri was asleep. I didn't wake her; I just got quietly into bed, and went to sleep=
