Have you ever woken up in a tube? or suspended in air? It's a terrifying feeling, at first, you don't realize you can't fall and your brain tells you to brace for impact. Of course after not moving for a bit, you realize that your not going anywhere. But when you wake up naked with a machine over you not moving, and water of an unknown depth beneath you, your brain tends to make your heart beat a little fast. The machine made no noise, no sound, nor did it move. I was being kept afloat by some sort of attractive property, I could feel it pulling at my body. I looked around, seeing a ring of stone, old stone, around me. the machine was just outside of it's boundaries. the symbols written on it were familiar. After a moment more of looking at them from my current position I realized that they were the same symbols I etched onto my bones, and bio-chemically laced into my skin, and muscle. These symbols were of the same origin of that unknown species or race that I discovered so long ago. the group that got me kicked from certain studies in ONI. The reason they no longer accepted my galactic and exo-galactic theories or hypotheses. But that could wait for now as I was suspended naked over water in an unknown place.

=I got back to my ship. To be honest, I felt like I was dragging the assault on Vigil's base on for long enough. Maybe I should just go, and leave my Miri and her friends here. If this is a suicide mission, then why should they have to die along with me?=

I awoke in snow. I was frightened. I could feel the fear emanating from my body. I could smell it. I stood up, I knew a fight was coming. I was prepared. My body chemically prepared itself for a fight. My muscles were primed and ready. Blood was flowing to all the areas necessary to fight. A metallic creature rose from the snow. It was some kind of cybernetic creature. the white metal blended in in the snow. It had sharp tips at the end of it's appendages. I was clothed, partially, I had a loincloth on. The creature and I danced. we both knew the moves, knew the game, knew the dance. Every move was to try and gain the upper hand without actually hurting the enemy. we danced, and we danced and we danced for what seemed to be an eternity. Then, I stumbled and it leapt at the opportunity to strike and it did. I was stabbed in the stomach, it lifted me up and threw me into the cliff-face. It made no sound. I bled onto the snow. I suddenly felt cold. not from the snow. I felt my body begin to chill. I struggled to stand. The Creature made no move. I stood up, ready to dance again. It lunged at me, knocking me over stabbing me continuously. I could feel the puncture wounds. the cold numbed me from the pain. I managed to knock it off of me. I felt something within me stir, a power, a latent ability. One that I'd genetically implanted. One that could only be realised in a moment of need. I felt the biochemical reactions that set off the bioluminescent glow that signified the activation of high frequency beta waves. the creature was bent and destroyed by an invisible force. I suddenly felt exhausted. I keeled over and passed out. almost. I heard the crunching of snow, a muffled voice "there you are, finally homed in on that signal." I felt arms begin to drag me through the snow. I blacked out.

=He wakes up, on the Med-Bay floor. He looks down at his leg, then around.=

Not even polite enough to put me on a Med-Bay bed...

=He stands up, armour on, and falls back down.=

SHIT! I'm going to have to hop...

=He stands up, and begins to hop. He heads to the Hanger. Once there, he notices the people on the floor.=

Hmm...

=He hops over to them, then stands on his leg with a giant hole in, and kicks each of them in the head with has leg which doesn't have a giant hole in, he then hops over to a Pelican, and sits down, leaning against it.=

Shit... Maybe I should've stayed in the Med-Bay... Slightly longer...

=I had arrived at the Messhall. Once there, I sat down to... Think? And did so until...=

(Rovac) THIS IS PATHETIC!

=Rovac stood up, kicking the table over.=

(Rovac) No! We have spent far too long with these

=Rovac looks around.=

(Rovac) Humans.

(Senox) What is wrong? They smell bad... But thats about it.

(Rovac) What would the Council think of this? Staying with Humans!

=I stand up.=

=I kick a chair.=

(Senox) They are the ones who left us! They stayed, and fought with the Covenant!

(Rovac) They were under a lie!

(Senox) I lost... All of my fleet to the Covenant. And the council... They stood there... As my men died... My brothers died...

(Rovac) Then what is worse? Dying, or spending the rest of our lives with humans?!

(Senox) This, is not the time.

=Rovac draws his Energy Sword, activating it.=

(Rovac) We duel. If you die, me, and the rest of our men return to the Homeworld. If I die, you decide what happens.

(Rain)

=I sigh=
=I had been meditating within the training room=
=I stand, grab my things, and head to the pool=
=Once there I remove my things and jump in=

=I heard the shouting of a Human. But this had to end, the hard way. Rovac lunged first, I dodged, his blade skimming past my face. I swung at him, missing him. He then swung, his sword hitting mine.=

=I look over at Dante, the feel my body get flung backwards onto a table. I turn back to face Rovac, he had his blade in the air, about to bring it down. I kick him in the gut using both of my legs, he falls backwards, hitting a chair. I jump up.=
