(At the Faded Liberty Bar)

Barkeep: (Leans on the table) Listen up, kid. There's a guy offering work. Says he ain't UNSC, But I leave him the benefit of the doubt.

Me: (I smile) Thanks for the help.

Barkeep: (He and I shake hands) No problem, boy. Go into the back. (He jerks his thumb) Tell him Rick sent ya.

Me: I'll be sure to do that.

(I head into the direction the barkeep told me)

This is either stupidly ballsy, crazy dumb, or both...I don't know if I can answer that

(I saunter in)

Agent: (Looking up) You should have knocked first, dipstick.

Me: (Deadpan) Rick sent me here.

Agent: (Nods) Ahhh, so you're in a new line of work, and in need of a job?

Me: Yes, yes I am.

Agent: I work with the 'Insurrection', as the UNSC labels them. They're looking for anyone who can do assassinations, and do it efficiently.

Me: I'm a trained marksman and CQC specialist. I lived on the street, and been in and out of juvie for the first ten years of my life. I can blend into a crowd.

(The agent smiles)

Agent: Well, looks like we have a made man here. I'll tell my contacts in the Insurrection that you will be perfect for the job.

Me: (I fold my arms) Now that I have the job, here's the big question: how much will I be paid?

Agent: Ahhh. 500 grand up front, and another 500 grand when you finish. That good enough, soldier boy?

Me: That's perfect. I'll take it. (we shake hands)

Agent: Pleasure doing buisness with you. I'll talk to them, and you'll be hired within 12 hours.

Me: Thanks. I'll see myself out.

(I walk with a smile on my face)

Maybe this wasn't as stupid as I thought..

Jack: This is Wolf to base. I've spotted the target, and I'm making a move as soon as it's dark.

ONI: Roger Wolf, move in for the kill. Make sure he's dead. Base out.

(Closes comm)

Jack: (Walks out) Stupid backwater drunks.

(Dusts himself and heads towards my ship)

It's weird. I keep trying to open a bottle of water and realize I can't. I'll try and pick up something by the edge and then remember that it'll fall over if I do. Like I said, weird.

(I look out the viewport of my ship)

(I take my knife and pistol, and head into a crew compartment of my ship)

You want me this bad, you'll have to do a lot better than this...

(I look once more)

That walk, the way the gun is held, the slight head tilt up... so, they send you Jack

(I flick off my pistol's saftey)

So ONI thinks you're good enough to let you loose on me....you've made one too many mistakes already...

(I slip back into the compartment)

(Jack nears the entry into the ship)

Jack: I know you're here, man. No use hiding.

(He enters the ship)

Jack: (Taunting) Come out, come out wherever you are. The wolf is here, and he smells blood.

You want to taunt me Jack, go ahead. I guarantee that you'll regret it...

(Artyom)

I'm looking for something to kill... Just... Something...

Well, what do you want to do? Maybe go swimming? Take a walk?

I'd say that's a plus towards your goal. But you do know that being mature isn't about not flirting right? It's about making your own choices.

Jack: Nice ship you stole. Alexi would faint to see his ship stolen.

(I jump out and slam him to the wall)

Jack: (Icredulous) MATT?!?!?! ONI sent me after you?!?!

Me: Yeah, I had a change of heart

(I slam him into the wall)

(He head butts me, and I glare at him)

Jack: I don't understand...why you, of all people?

Me: You wouldn't understand...not one bit...

(I chokeslam him to the floor)

(He spits out blood)

Jack: You'll regret that...

(I pin him)

Me: Not for long...

(I unsheath my knife and hold the blade near his throat)

Me: Tell Lucifer that ONI sent you...

(I clap my hand over his mouth and sever his spine)

(I drop his body)

You have blood on your hand ONI, its your fault he's dead...not mine

(I dump his body out the entrance and bury him)

Rest in peace, you dumb s.o.b....

(I go back into my ship and go to sleep)
