Umm, why do you need leaders? Couldn't you simply be in charge?

Nope. History has been riddled with incidents of a single leaders. It never ends well.

So why are you running with it when it has yet to have a handle or a sheathe?

what's the most durable?

Synthetic, but it takes longer to set up. I suggest a wood base with grip tape. Fast and efficient.

so, how'd you learn how to make blades?

(Dormii)
Childhood. Made a shiv out of a piece of glass and tape. Along the way, learned how to do metalworking for swords and knives. Remind me to show you Melting Razors at some point.

Yeah, when you shoot them, they embed themselves in a target. Push the button again, and an electrical current melts the blade as well as burns the wire. A friend thought them up, and I made them.

(Carolyn)
And you want us to do what you won't? Govern these people?

(Jason)
I never said I won't govern. I simply said that I do not want to be the only one governing these people. Plus, I'm a stranger, and barely human at that. The five of you though.......they know you, and if they chose you, then they must trust you.

Yeah, but not easy.

so, weren't you and Talfie a pair for awhile? what happened to that?

So what, you want us to be in charge of each city?

(Jason)
Not exactly. See, there is a great deal of power here on Haven, mainly military power. It's too much, for any one man to use. The five of you, will be more like the council of Haven, regulating the use of this power. You'll still be in charge of your respective cities, but if you choose, you can form a council of you own for each city, to keep things running smoothly.

(Dormii)
We both loved two people. I liked her and Jay, she liked me and Rain. We just decided it wouldn't work. I still like her, though.

Exactly...hey, you find the grip tape yet?

So, what sort of duties will be expected of us?

For now, maintain the peace. The sentinels you saw will serve as Haven's security force, until we can create our own.

Are we to have some type of military force?

(Jason)
Umm, not exactly. At some point, maybe you can all have a military, but for now, the only military force on Haven are the sentinels, and the warships housed here. Don't take this the wrong way, but I don't quite trust you all yet with the amount of ordnance here.

(Dormii)
She is distracting...try that next cupboard.

So are we to be defenseless?

(Jason)
No. Like I said, the sentinels will defend you, at least until we can find a way to arm you all with non-Forerunner weapons.

(Alvin)
Non-Forerunner? Why can't we use the weapons here?

(Jason)
I don't trust many of you yet. In a year, maybe. But for now, the power they hold, is simply too great.

Well, there is much in the cities. There's food and water, and plenty of housing. As far as transportation goes, I have no real idea.
