Draco-Dormii! Its Draco!

Draco-Did you find anything!?

Neither do I, which is why I ask before I run.

Yeah! I got an AI! We need to leave! The fusion coils are going to explode!

Lynn-How fun. We get to see an explosion.

Draco-Always nice

=They turn and run back to the hanger=

=I step on another Syringe on the way out=

=I charge out of the room and proceed down the hallway=

(Dormii)
=i run after them=
So, AI, how much time do you think we have?

Oh I'd say about two minuets, it's not like I want to panic you or anything.

=She begins counting down within Dormii's helmet=

(Dormii)
=i mutter to myself=

=i start to run faster, being thankful for the extra endurance the Viking program gave me=

=They continue sprinting down the halls they had passed=

Draco(thinking of the dead bodies)-Requiescat en pace.

Lynn-Cmon..they are in a better place

=The group finally arrive in the hanger, the lights to the whole ship have faded and died out=
I'd hurry if I was you!

=The AI spoke a little too loudly in Dormii's ears but didn't appear to care=

8, 7, 6,

=She continued counting=

(Dormii)
=we get to the hanger bay. I run to my Pelican and start it up again=
C'mon....

=I step over some stuff which was left on the floor=

Messy, messy..

=I cough and it echos through the halls=

=They hop on board a Pelican. Lifting off=

Lynn-Go!

Draco-I am.

=He bursts out of the ship's hanger=

(Dormii)
=we take off as the ship starts to explode=
Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit....

=I start to pick up speed through the halls=

3, 2, 1....

=The Pelican flew as fast as it could away from the dead ship, as it began to explode in a purple sea of fire=
Huh..? My timer was off...

=The AI was disappointed with its self but pressed on=
Finally let's get out of here, where's you're command?

I'll take you there, don't worry. Now, since we have some time, mind telling me your name now?

=i put in a course for the Trophaeum and sped off=

=I hear some bangs in the distance but stay on my toes=

=The AI tuts in dismay over Dormii's silly questions=
I'm disappointed, I expected more from a Spartan, Fusion-cells... Not ''Fusion coils'' really, did you listen to anything I said? Your officers won't like this in the report.

And the fact you failed to mention your ''friends'' almost endangered us all. How very sad, I'm marking you down for this...

(Dormii)
Fusion coils and fusion cells both explode when under duress, right? And I didn't ask my friends to come with. As for my officers, I don't think they'll like any report I might send in. Now, just answer my question. What is your name?

=The AI scoffs at Dormii's tone of language=
How dare you talk to me like that... This isn't looking good for you at all, I hope you realise I could lock your armour at any moment it time?

=The AI's thoughts returns the the other two Spartans that joined them=

Yes, you could, and then the program would unlock my armor because the conditions set for it weren't met. Bear in mind, I have nothing but the utmost respect for AI, it's just that when someone, anyone, doesn't answer my questions, I get a bit peeved. So, once again, so I don't get angry, what. Is. Your. =She begins closing off her minor systems=
It appears I took damage during an attack, I have to repair. As soon as we land take me too a repair bay, hopefully someone will know what their doing.

Well, now that you say that, you are going to be extremely disappointed. I'm the best computer programming/AI person on the ship, soooo.....you're kinda stuck with me for a bit. Unless, of course, you want that minor damage to stay in place.

=They land in the hanger of the Trophaeum=

=I hear thrusters and walk more cautiously toward the source=

=The AI remained silent, she was becoming increasingly annoyed=
Maybe I was mistaken, maybe there isn't any damage, sadly I think you're ''Skill set'' could be used somewhere else.

Maybe somewhere with garbage disposal...

=The damage to her drives was getting worse but she continued to ignore it=
I don't have time for this I have calculations to do.

Dormii Fortuni, garbage disposal. Hmm...nah. Not my style. Up close killing is, however. And, hey, if there is damage, and you are willing to risk your life over me being somewhat of a sarcastic ass, that's your problem. If you want to be human, who am I to judge.

=i land and drop the ramp. I get up from the seat and power down the engines. I head out the back=

=I peer around the corner to sneak a peek=

=They head out of the Pelican=

Zayne-Act Two will begin after the short intermission. Be ready. =Laughter=

=The AI reluctantly rethinks her options=
Ugh... Fine, but if I find one thing out of place, I'll get you back so bad you will be working at the garbage disposal.

=The AI sends a series of codes to Dormii's HUD=
Those are my access codes, I'll log off, and don't! I repeat don't, screw this up.

=She finishes shutting down her programs, and hopes to herself that she made the right decision=

=i chuckle to myself and save those codes for later. I head to the main workshop area to begin work. My stomach begins to complain about the mayo I had earlier, but I ignored it, hoping the anti-biotics would work. I got there and started working, plugging her in and using the access codes to get to work. I debated adding in more humor, but I decided not to=

Don't piss off AI, Dormii. They can do a lot of damage.

Pax, I need you again.

You don't have to do anything, just make sure I don't do anything wrong. It's been a while since my last repair job involving AI.

=I finished the food, and left for the Serenity. Molly joined me=

So, I overheard from Jason's comm that he got a job offer? What does he do?

(Miranda)
Well, it's nothing legal. He works as a smuggler.
=we kept walking, and arrived in the hangar=

(Molly)
Oh, I see. He uses the speed and stealth of the Serenity to by pass most security sectors, and transport illegal goods.

Does he ever transport slaves?

(Miranda)
No, absolutely not. It's one of the things associated to his reputation.
=we reached the ship, and entered a few minutes later. Molly and I took the elevator up to the bridge, and found Jason getting set for takeoff=

Hey, get out of my chair.

(Jason)
Sorry about that. We need to leave. I already left a message saying we'd be gone.

(Miranda)
So, another job?

(Jason)
Yeah. I checked the coordinates: we're heading for Chi Ro.

(Dormii)
=without looking away from my work=
Working on an AI, Zeru. Nothing to worry about.

(Miranda)
Chi Ro? They still exist?

(Jason)
Yeah, after the Covenant were driven off, things slightly improved. They have a few ships in orbit, but not even a full battle-group. To the best of my knowledge though, they've been growing, what with all the extra people there. Anyway, all I have to do is pick up some items down there, and transport them to the drop off point.

(Molly)
=I wasn't really paying attention. While he talked, I piloted the ship out of the hangar, and a few minutes later, we entered slip-space=

(Dormii)
Again, working on an AI. It's like you working on a wounded person in my medbay. Are you going to ask?

(Miranda)
So, how long before we reach Chi Ro?

It should take us little more than three hours.

(Jason)
Three hours it is then.

(Dormii)
Again, kinda an emergency. There was a chance of corruption in the code. You know what that equates to in a human?

=I stayed on the bridge, and manned the sensor array. There wasn't really anything to scan for, but it gave me a place to sit=

(Molly)
So, what happened at Chi Rho? I mean, I heard that the UNSC pushed the Covenant back from there, but I never heard the specifics.

(Jason)
Chi Rho was the only Inner Colony planet that was on the border between the Inner Colonies, and the Outer Colonies. During the war with the Covies, the place became a massive refugee camp. When the Covies attacked, Vice Admiral Jean Mawikizi dug into the planets crust, and managed to survive the Covies glassing the planet. It got to the point that the Covenant started to send down troops, and they got slaughtered by Jean and his troops. The Covenant left after that, apparently seeing that the losses were too great for a world they already burned. Anyway, the planet recovered, and now the UNSC maintains a small presence there, as most of their ships are already assigned to places of strategic value.

(The drunk walks over)

Drunk: Hey....you there. (pointing at me)

(I look at him)

@Drunk (Calmly) Whatever's your problem, you really don't want to pick a fight with me.

Drunk: Oh, I believe I do, you Earth-lovin' piece of shit.

He's just really drunk. Restraint, Matt, restraint...

@Drunk Just go home and sleep this off. Because you really don't want to fight me.

Drunk: I don't give a damn about how you feel. Get off this planet before I hurt YOU.

@Drunk And what makes you think you can hurt me?

(He pulls out a pistol)

Drunk: I'm gonna count to five. An if ya don't leave by then, Imma pulling this trigger to make ya leave. One...two...

@Drunk You really don't want to do it

Drunk: Four...FIVE. I warned ya, you little shit.

(He pulls the trigger)

Not a smart move...

(I grab the shooting arm, pull it behind his back and pin him to the ground)

(He roars in pain as I break his wrist and both his upper and lower arms)

@Drunk I warned you. Now you see why this happened?

Drunk: Git off you little fucker. Don't make me do it again!

(I sigh)

I really didn't want it to come to this...but you leave me no choice...

(I hit him in the base of the skull)

That should shut him up

(I check him)

Unconscious, and still alive...good, at least now someone else can deal with him

(I look to see an audience, some clearly a bit shocked)

Take it easy...the guy isn't dead...just out cold. Now, if you all excuse me, I'll see myself out.

(The crowd parts as I walk out of the hotel for my ship)

=The two head to the medbay to look for Grace=
=She had fallen asleep on one of the tables=

=He lifts her up and he takes her to her room=

Grace(whispering)-I was sleeping so nicely...

Draco-I know. You will sleep better in your own bed.

Grace-Uh huh...

=She yawns as they enter the room=
=He places her on the bed and she drifts off quickly=

=He leaves out to the messhall where he meets Lynn=

(Dormii)
=i check the final line of code, fix any errors then exit repair mode=
Okay, Pax, double check and triple check the damaged files. Notify my of any errors.

--Working........done. No more errors detected--

Good. Let's turn her back on.

=I start up the AI again, piece by piece, checking again as I go=
C'mon...don't crash on me...

=The AI began to reboot, her systems returning to their full functionality=
Full systems restored, no damage detected, hmm... It appears that he can actually do something.

=The Holo-disk reads clear for any errors and appears to be running better then before=
Well, I believe a thank you is in order, your superiors shall be praised for their ability to teach basic maintenance.

=The AI appears next to the Dormii on the holographic display which is built into the desk he was working on, the small transparent figurer looks up towards the Spartan awaiting a reaction=

Heh, superiors...

=i look at the AI on the holo projector=
Does basic maintenence include the ability to increase an AI's humor or anger, or overall increase the human part of them? Because I could, you know.
