A new start...

=Training of ground troops increased, and while rushed, they were still effective....at least according to predictive models. However, Silver Light unlocked access to Forerunner Heavy Armor, mainly artillery, and tanks. Some more time would be needed to learn how to control them, but thankfully, the controls were, as the drivers would say, 'user friendly.' Still, they were armed only with pistols, which would prove problematic=

Captain: "I mean I think we're all gonna die. Why else would all these ships surround us? It's like a big 'Fuck you', if you know what I mean."

The Crewmen, mortified by the Captains words begin bringing the sick and injured, and the doctors and interns, out of cryo.

Inheritor, they are a medical/transport ship. They apparently have wounded.

Aww hell, fine. Have them land on the outside of Haven's shell, and make sure the at least one Frigate watches them. When they land, deploy Sentinels to keep a watch on any personnel that may exit. Hell, tell them to stay on their ship.

=I relayed the Inheritors instructions to both the fleet, and MED-7=

The MED-7 lands in the designated area, set to them by Silverlight, though they knew not the name of the AI-entity. They land in a professional fashion and immediately people are being unloaded onto the surface. The Captain was among them. In a matter of minutes a small med-team was in the process of setting up a tent for the wounded. Before the Captain exited the ship he sent an affirmation of the hospitality of the entity communicating with them.

=Okay, I knew they had wounded. But I thought I had Silver tell them, to keep their people on the damn ship. Well, at least the Sentinels would make sure no one left the damn ship's landing zone. Add to the fact that Haven's sensors would detect any life signatures, and I doubted they'd get the drop on us. Me and my security team made our way into MED-7 camp, and I shouted=

Who is your captain?

=i had wandered around the city, eventually finding a military base. I told them who I was, and they checked out my name and such, and let me in. I just walked around, granted I had an escort so I didn't do anything wrong, but I was just looking around, seeing what was there=

=The marine fires a panicked burst before Viktor takles him, breaking several of the Marines ribs=

=The marine lands unconcious, and his buddies turn and fire=

Viktor(me): I expected a challenge. Bring it on.

=Viktor rushes another marine, taking him as a shield=

Viktor(me): You really want to kill me? Go ahead, and your buddy will pay for it.

=The marine mouths for his buddies to shoot, and they do=

Viktor(me): So unwise. =He fires at the submachinegunner hitting him right between the eyes, his friend gaping at him=

=He then breaks the other marine's arm, and spinal taps him to keep him unconcious=

Viktor: That should keep you...now the last one

=Viktor grins wickedly, and the marine starts to run=

Viktor: Oh no you don't...I have no intention of letting you go

=He catches up the marine and corners the soldier=

Marine: Go ahead and do your worst. I dare you.

Viktor(me): =Smirking= Well, since you did ask for it...

=He shoots him in the head, letting the marine drop=

=Viktor heads me back to my ship=

Viktor: That was enjoyable, I can't wait to do that again...

=Xazhi punches a few commands into the console, and the ship lands in the Trophaeum's hanger. He goes to his quarters and gets his armor on. He heads down the ladder in the Rec room and over to the boarding ramp. He steps out into the Trophaeum's hanger and looks around, remembering vaguely how to navigate it. He goes off looking for someone familiar=

=the troph jumps to haven to retrieve the others. After about an hour, it arrives and leaves Slipspace. It is soon surrounded by Sentinels, who then move away once it was identified as the Trophaeum, a friend to Haven=

=While I waited for MED-7's captain to respond, I got a message from Silver that the Trophaeum had arrived to pick up Zeru=

=Xazhi went back to the hanger of the Trophaeum. As he looked out of the hanger, he saw the massive shield world. He stared at it for a while, thinking of what it could be=

=The guards waited for Jeremy to finish eating, then they escorted him back to his room. Once he was inside, they closed the door behind them, and resumed their positions outside=


--Haven's Surface--

=still no response, I shouted again=
Who here is the captain of MED-7?

The Captain was occupied with helping the sick and injured out of the ship, he didn't hear the approach of Jason. As crew helped set up tents to move the patients. The doctors were moving the more serious patients out in stasis pods. It was well coordinated movement. Some of the patients were glad to be on solid ground, with being cooped up on the ship for the past 7 months stopping at various hospitals picking up patients or rare cases to move to facilities with better equipment or doctors that have experience with the rare cases. however, the special doctors with this experience are often the heads of hospitals and are unable to travel to the patients, so the patients are flown to the doctors. But the MED-7 was off course, complete with doctors to stabilize patients.

One of the interns, Nicholas, was stabilizing one of the rarity cases in the first tent that was set up. The patient had a rare disease and had to be quarantined, all the doctors and interns that checked up on him had to wear masks and gloves. This protocol ensured that it was not spread. When moving the patient they were kept in a stabilizer.

=Okay, I had enough. I had a world's defense to prepare, and I was not going to wait on the small crew of a medical ship. Yes, it may have seemed cold, but I was short on time. I walked further into the group, my men staying tight, and I had to shout out, my suits exterior speakers turned up=

WHO HERE IS THE CAPTAIN OF THIS SHIP?!?!?!?! I DEMAND TO SPEAK WITH THEM AT ONCE!!!!!!!!!!

=Yeah yeah, it was rude. What else was new? I'm a Spartan, not a Saint. We have no patience=

=I sit in the newly added SOEIV launch deck, staring into the visor of my helmet. We were supposed to investigate a skirmish that UNSC forces had fought not long ago, we were to gather intelligence and perform a risk assessment on the hostiles.=

ONI aren't telling us everything here, they know whats down there, we just have to confirm it...

=A siren blares on our deck and we rush to our Pods and I pull my helmet on and tint the visor=

Captain Wyel: "ODSTs! Prepare to drop in 3... 2...1!"

=seconds after leaving the Seclusion, a blue-ish beam sliced through her, causing to to split in to and fall.
On the comm I can hear and see the rest of my squad panicking.=
ODST: What was that!?
ODST2: Were screwed man! WERE SCREWED!

= Before they even finish, Sentinals begin to swarm around us, their beams firing towards to glass portion of our pods.
My squad are cut down inside their pods.
I take a beam to my leg, causing it to bleed.
My Pod hits the surface and I black out.=

=sensors alerted me to the presence of a small number of pods, dropping to the planet's surface. The ship that brought them here, was already destroyed, the sentinels burning it to ash. I sent those still inside the planets atmosphere to the landing zone of the drop pods, and had them secure the area. I called the Inheritor=

Inheritor, a number of drop pods have landed on Haven's surface. I already destroyed their ship, and have deployed sentinels to the drop pods area.

Oh, for fuck's sake! It never ends. Send a group of soldiers to the landing zone. Have them work with the Sentinels, and lock down the area.
