Alright, now that we'e all introduced, let's get to business.

Fiiine...so, what's in these sandwiches your brother loves so much?

chicken, ham, bacon, pepperoni, turkey pastrami, salami, cheese, chipotle sauce, cayenne sauce, and it's all toasted

De- As i am sure you are all aware, we come in the hopes to negotiate some sort of peace agreement with the people of Haven, or at the very least, one to avoid military conflict. With the weapons we both possess, it would most certainly mean utter annihilation for both of our people within hours, perhaps less. The Inheritor has seen first-hand the lengths to which i am willing to go to ensure the safety of my people, as everyone who now resides in Haven has.

De- Tell me, Councilman Grimm. When your people have been at war with a race who means nothing but your utter extermination for centuries, when that ancient enemy shows up on your doorstep with an army of destruction, with you as your people's sole guardian, what do you do? Do you sit idly by and watch as your own species is wiped from existence? No. Our way is to confront that enemy. We played the UNSC's game. They showed us what they were willing to sacrifice to exterminate us. We showed them what we were willing to do in return. Now i stand before you in hopes that you will now see what i am willing to do to ensure my people's safety and survival.

De- Believe me, Councilman, i have lost more people that i considered my own family than you can ever imagine. We six were built to live as the leaders of our people forever. Such is our blessing. Such is our curse.

De- I will do so countless more times untill the UNSC is willing to negotiate peace terms with us, and for once keep them. Even now, we have Earth in our crosshairs. At a moments notice, the entire XNNO armada would decend upon them, and reduce the planet to dust and small pebbles in the void. I do not give the order because, although i am convinced that i am wrong, i have faith that one day they will open their eyes to reason and stop this senseless slaughter.

=He holds her closely. Somehow his mind still on Shelby. He lets out a silent grunt and his thoughts shift to Lynn=

Zayne: You're the worst player ever...

=He stays silent at that comment=

Zayne: I doubt Dormii will give you a chance next time

With all due respect to the people on Haven, but you're dealing with humans Delta! By their very nature, humans are arrogant, selfish, and destructive. Do they have good qualities, certainly. But you going to war with them all the time does not help produce sympathetic minds, and destroys those that already exist. It does more to harm your idea of peace, then produce it!

De- We care not for the minds and mentalities of Humans. They will see reason and make peace, or they will be destroyed. Sooner or later, Inheritor, i will unleash Hellfire upon Earth. You can count on that.

Xa- I agree. This eternal combat is pointless. Eventually, someone will win.

I could go for a small one. I'm falling asleep rapidly.

=almost as if on cue, I yawned=

But at what cost? No matter who wins, it will mean the annihilation of an entire race, and that is something that will haunt your children for generations Delta. It may not bother you, but living with the knowledge that you were born of destroyers is a terrible thing. Not to mention the fact that a whole race will be destroyed. I am sorry Delta, but if you truly insist on wiping out the humans, then you will have to face me. I have a duty, passed down to me by the Forerunners, to maintain diversity in the Galaxy, and that includes stopping people like you.

=i don't say anything, just lean against Kurbis as we went to go make sandwiches=

De- Even if it means an endless war and the marching of countless lives straight to their graves? Forgive me if i do not understand your thinking, inheritor, but i have come to realize after centuries of conflict that if it does not end soon, it never will. And i cannot, and will not, allow my people to lay down their lives for so pointless a cause!

Enough, all of you! We came here for peace, yet look at us. Reduced to fighting, and opening old wounds, all at the whim of a few words. Are we not better than this?

De- I agree. It is time we end this war before it begins.

=Delta sits back down in his chair. Vokuurn stands to speak=

Vo- Though you are the first Humans i have ever seen with my own eyes, i can tell from what i have seen here today that your peoples are vastly different in culture and mentality. This peace may not be so easy to obtain as we had hoped...

=He sits down, facing Jason=

When is anything as valuable as peace easy to attain? Peace involves trust, and that must be earned. Frankly, both sides are at fault here, on the road to gaining trust. We have Delta and his people, whose pursuit of safety has led to the slaughter of billions, and the destruction of worlds. And we have me, who led a fleet to attack their ships.

=I paused to pour myself a glass of water, drank, then continued=
There's bad history for all of us, but we must rise above it, or else the shadows of our history will consume us in war.

Paarthurnax used this time to take in all of the surroundings. It was very different. He was confused, and lost.

(Dormii)
=i woke up a few hours later. I opened my eyes and saw Jay, sleeping. Even though she had all these robotics, and implants and such, I still knew it was her. I smiled and gave her a soft kiss before thinking about what to do again. I want to talk to Jay, catch up on everything we've missed, but I've also got those books, that hologram character, and Draco to worry about. I was debating what to do in terms of plans=

=He fires out of bed, another night terror. The sweat beads on his brow drip off. He looks to see Lynn next to him. He breathes heavily. His eyes alternating once more and pain begins to shoot through his body. Another small episode, though this one is different. He begins to calm down slowly as he leaves the bed=

=He wipes his brow and goes to the dresser, taking a shirt and putting it on. He leaves, but as he does he gives Lynn a quick kiss. He takes out his journal and writes a note down for her. Leaving the book open on the desk, he heads out himself into the hallway=

(Dormii)
=I sat up and got out of Jay's bed. I pulled the covers up over her before writing a note saying I'd be in the training room. I walked back and gave her a kiss on the forehead before walking out to my room to pick up my armor and weapons. It took me a few minutes, but I made it without running into Draco or anyone else. I walked in and put on a change of clothes before starting to put my armor on=

=He set his path for the newly named research and development room. He had checked off one of the items from his journal, it was time to now work on the second phase. A new personal A.I.=

=If he ran into Dormii, it would be trouble. He had nothing but the gauntlet, and frankly it would be a long shot to say he could win with only the gauntlet=

=A sigh left him as he continued on his way=

(Dormii)
=i put my armor on, the whole process only taking a few minutes, and grabbed my weapons. I also grabbed my rifle, and the one spare magazine that I had made for it. I'd stop by the shooting range on my way back, see if I still knew how to use my rifle. I looked like a walking armory as I went down the hall. I did my best to steer clear of people, and when I did pass someone, I only nodded in greeting=

=He walks through the hallways, taller than most, if not all=
=He had not cut his hair in some time, the white hair moves in front of his eyes as he walks=

=A beard had regrown on his face. Unable to cover the scars however=
=He enters the R&D room and approaches one person there=

I know it has not been a long time, but I wish for a personal A.I. to be made.

=The scientist nods and directs him over to a screen where the process will begin=

=She walks through the hallway, having a decent night's sleep. She sees up ahead of her a figure, looking of a walking armoury. She picks up her pace and is soon behind the man=

Hey Dormii.

=i stop and turn around, looking at Grace=

That you willingly accepted to harbor them here on Haven untill the Trophaeum returned with more refugees from the Obsidian Wolf. Thankfully, the attack was repelled. Regardless of whether or not the UNSC was successful, your actions proved to me that perhaps Humans and Ecksnos may be able to find peace with eachother, if not with the UNSC, then at least with you.
