Did that help in any way, to prove that I was being honest?

Al- I still find it difficult to believe that a creature such as that could make its way into the Azure Comet's bomb bay and somehow detonate its entire payload. But to an extent, yes it did.

Alright. Well, now that we have that little dispute settled, let us move on to other matters.

You. I remember, when the Covenant fleet came here, you turned on them, and killed the Prophet. Not to sound ungrateful, but I'd like to know why?

We wanted to see the Brutes and their filthy ways sent back to their home where they belong. Infiltrating the fleet and killing the Prophet was our first major act against the Old Covenant.

=She crosses her arms=

I see. Personally, I had hoped to talk with you, before you had left. After all, I wished to meet in person the one that helped tip the scales of that battle.

Ve- The moment was right for our strike, but we had to flee quickly, in case another Fleet were to arrive. It was vital to our operations, and still is, that the Covenant only see us on our terms.

I'm sorry, but I feel I must ask: If we do achieve peace here, then what exactly are the terms? We'd become allies, I'm sure, and supply aid when needed. But......should a day ever come, where the Ecknsos decide to attack Earth, then will we really be expected to aid them?

That's all well and good. But Delta, if you were to ever attack Earth while we were allied.......then I'm sorry, but we would stand against you. We may not share the same government, but they are our species, and Earth is the homeworld of our race.

=She nods=

=i flicked the knife-ring into my hand. The mace-flails was on my hip, the spear on my back, and the hook-cable-blade wrapped around my arm=

=She looks at him=

Nah, you look like you'll get caught up in your own weapons.

=i chuckle and throw the knife ring and knee level, horizontally, towards her. In the same motion, I reach behind me and draw the spear/flail and run forward=

=She sidesteps the ring and runs forward as well=

(Dormii)
=i spin the spear-flail in front of me before swinging it down, flail end forward, towards her. In the same motion, I crouch down onto a knee, with my other leg straight forward=

De- Then i am to understand that you are declaring now before us all, that you would openly defend the UNSC if attacked.

=He looks around to the other leaders of the Alliance. They speak without words, exchanging only looks and the occasional nod. He looks back to Jason=

De- If that is what i am to understand, then i regret to inform you that the next time we meet, may be on the field of battle. I will be taking my soldiers you have been harboring back with me aboard the Azure Comet, and they will be returned to their homes and families, something that i have laid down my life many times before, and will do many times again, in order to protect. And if it was not clear before, Inheritor, let me make it abundantly so now. I will do whatever it takes to ensure that my people can live in peace without the fear of attack looming overhead. And if that means seeing an entire world collapse in on itself in a great hail of Hellfire...

=Delta stands=

De- Then so be it.

=He turns towards the exit of the Council chamber, and walks away. As he does so, the other leaders of the Alliance stand, and follow him one by one. Once in the hall, Delta is given back his Helmet by the SS soldier he handed it to. He holds on to it with his right hand, and awaits the rest of the leaders. As they each arrive, they too are given back their weapons by the respective soldiers they handed them to=

=I stood, and shouted=
Stop! Did I say we would defend the UNSC? No. We will defend humanity. We will defend their families, their children. What will you do, Delta? Continue to endanger yours? With every world you burn, with every life you take, you only increase the hate humans will have for you and your kind. We meet here, in the hopes of ending this, before it goes too far!

=Delta shouted back from the doorway=

De- With every attack on my people's homeword, or rather the closest thing we have to one, i'd say its already gone too far. You should know what the UNSC are willing to do to us, Inheritor. After all, you yourself gave the order to disable our weapons and let them flood into our home. Regardless of what you did afterwards, we still havent finished counting all the bodies, and no amount of actions can bring them back. You see what they are willing to do, and what I am willing to. If you want to see our fight ended, perhaps you should try convincing the people who dont wish for a peaceful solution. You can talk to them because you are one of them. We all know i can't.

=He and the other leaders, and all their guards, begin making their way back to the Hanger. Delta sends Jason a Text comm=

=I received the message, and sent one of my own=

Consider this a parting gift Delta: A vacant world I know of. Not sure if you'll need it, but it's there. Best of all, the UNSC don't go near it. Just stay away from the ruins there.

=attached to the message, were the coordinates of the empty world, where my team and I had once deployed the now defunct nerve agent. Delta, or anyone else for that matter, would be safe going there=

=She stops and jumps backward enough to where the flail hits the ground. She closes her eyes and listens for Dormii's next move, rasing the knife as she does=

=i drag the spear backwards and flip it around, thrusting it forward while letting it slide from my hand. I grab the chain of the flail to stop it from going too far=

=She jumps back again as she hears the wind from the spear goes through the air=
=She takes a step to the right and throws her knife at Dormii=

=Eventually, the leaders arrive back at their respective ships. From the Azure Comet, a small fleet of transports is sent out and begins collecting the SS on the surface of Haven=

(Dormii)
=i roll backwards the knife grazing my armor and my shields. I pull the spear back and spin before swinging the flail at Grace horizontally=

=She turns left and runs on the outside of him, once clear of the flail she runs up to him and goes for a knee to the stomach=

(Dormii)
=i take the knee, letting out a whump of air, and slip the spear behind her knee, and then pulling backwards to try and get her off balance=
