I hear the voices coming closer. The sounds of the pistol firing just behind our feet. Knowing if i stopped crawling it would hit me. The dirt splashes up into my face. The barbed wire overhead is shredding my clothes. The candidates all around me doing the same. One screams from behind. The pistol has obviously caught up with them.

I punch back, determined to win this fight. To show i was capable of being a Spartan. If i couldn't be one of them i had no where to go. I had to be one. I punched harder and harder and harder, forcing my opponent back and to the floor. I didn't let up until the instructors, 5 of them, dragged me away.

David, still on the frigate, decides to look around. He figured no one was around, but wanted to double-check. He made his way aimlessly around the frigates many halls, taking mental-note of locations and landmarks.
