Chapter 4: Exodus

=i chase after the figure. i call out again= HEY! Torres! Wait up!

=I hear dormii and slow down to a stop. I turn around=

Whats up.

=i run up to him= Hey, long time no see. How have you been?

=i smile and shrug= Aren't we all? Hey, you don't happen to want a mace/flail or a staff/spear/flail do you? I got some medieval like weapons, if you want one.

Because modern weapons always have a tendency to fail. Our weapons need air to work properly, Covenant weapons need energy. These can be scanned and identified easily. Physical weapons are hardy to identify on a scanner. =i shrug= Besides, it's nice to have a hobby. Is that a yes, you want one? It's ok if you don't.

=Torres moves around=

No. Only if you have a sword.

I can make one. Want anything special on it? knife on a chain, blade on the bottom of the hilt, something like that?

=i realize something= Oh, wait. You...the clone you, I guess, had an energy sword like thing in the shape of a katana. Would that work?

Well, he almost killed Draco. I hear the same for Marcus. I almost killed him, after he almost killed Draco. Called himself Omega. Never really talked to anybody. Was killed by a Spartan by the name of Juli, who I almost killed.

=i lightly punch his arm= But what happened to you? I thought they would've given you the death sentence.

=I look up at the sky=

ONI. ONI always have an ulterior plan. They took me from the prison, kept me on a tighter leash and put me on some suicide missions. Most of the time my crew never made it out.

=i sit down= You regret surviving? Or are you one to live in honor of people?

No I don't regret survivng and I'm not one to live in honor of another. I mean I rember all of their names, everyone of them etched in my skull. But sometimes it gets tiring you know, you just want to escape it all even for a breif second.

=Torres starts to walk=

But I don't have that luxury.

=i get up and walk with him= Not many do. And I'm not sure I would call it a luxury to be able to forget those who have importance in your life.

(His eyes open)
(He looks around)
(He sees Snow tending to him)

Hmm.

But is it? What's to stop us from simply going to a backwater planet and living as farmers? What makes us have to fight?

(He enters the room)
(He sits down at the desk and begins upgrades to his weapons, armor, and arm)

Including humanity itself. =i turn to walk back to base= Wanna head back? I think I can find the sword for you.

=I walk back to base, Torres following. i head to the workshop to start making a sword in case i cant find his other sword=

guys this is zeru the trophaeum and the frigate are cloaked the oni ship is almost here so can u guys temporarily shut off anything that can give us away

(I finish up painting the armor)

Perfect. Looks like an ODST's already. Just put on the other parts and its whole once again

(I find lettering and put it on the armor on both sides)

(I also reattatch the medical patch)

Perfect. An ODST once again. No reason for any ONI to recognize otherwise

(I head out of the machine shop after putting on my armor)

Its just like the time I called the unsc... Its all going to happen again..

=She drops her head falling back into her memories=

=i comm zeru, saying that i will work on that, then i see Ash sitting down. i call out= Hey. You ok?

=i sit down next to her=

=She looks up at Dormii=
I screwed up big time...

=Her gaze returns to the floor=
That smell...

(He sees Ash and Dormii as he passes through a hallway)
(He sits down beside Ash)

Oh? How so? Hugged him when you should've kissed? Put your hand in the wrong spot? =i chuckle slightly= Well?

=She looks to Draco, then to Dormii=

(He sighs)
(Continuing to say nothing)
(He looks to the ground)

So? I'll kill them all. Hell, I'm sure I can just fool them, if Zeru would help. =i put my arm on her shoulder, after looking at Draco= I don't think you did it on purpose, did you?

=heads down to the base in a transport to find the others=
