I think that a reason should be given after the chat has been cleared without the need of a user asking. This way. when the mod who cleared the chat isn't here and people have questions, they don't have to wait an undefined amount of time to get an answer.

If the chat has been cleared, it's for a private reason or a chat glitch. If someone really wants to know, then they can wait to ask.

well the reason shouldnt be invasive just a jist of why it happened. also does this rule occur when others are on or is the cleared conversation between two or more people.
