there aren't any private terminals down here, it's a private room. literally. it's to relax in. though, as you can tell, i've done patchwork in the past, whether it be patching up someone else or myself. But it's nothing urgent, it can wait. the message i mean.

=I sit down on the couch in the room. I crop my head up on a pillow=

So, tell me about this DRACULA.

David nodded, "Well, I'm sure you know this already. But I'll humor you. The ONI spooks were rather...secretive, with this kind of thing. Only heard his voice once or twice, everything else was done via text and picture. Electronically. Gave me the assignments, I did them. Nothing more, nothing less." He took a seat, sitting rigid as usual.

=noticing the rigidity of Davids posture=

Expecting something? or someone? relax, theres no way any unauthorized personnel will get down here.

=looking at the ceiling=

sounds like the standard get-up, fake numbers, or no numbers at all. I remember those days, fun, exciting, never knew what was next. thrill of the adventure. fun times. why'd you stop?

David shrugged, "I did." He paused, looking to the ceiling, then back to the doctor, "I'm forty-seven years old, Doc. Why do you think I stopped?" He chuckled behind lying teeth.

I think someone got spooked. or went AWOL.

=I look at David=

so? which was it?

"Once I found out what you people did, I went AWOL of course." He looked at the doctor, showing no signs of distress or emotion.

=I smile=

"you people"? you make it sound like I still work for ONI. haven't worked FOR them in years, or has it been decades? I never could keep up with time. but yeah, we did some pretty horrible things back in the day.

=I sit up, and look David in the eyes=

You know what my last assignment was? in my younger days when i was receiving texts and pictures of who my next target was?

David shook his head, "What was your last assignment?"

I had to kill the one who was originally sending me the texts and pictures, Codenamed NEAR DEATH. the irony. you know why? he had decided to kill people on Arcadia, for no reason. He went AWOL. the bad way.

David sighs, "If you're trying to say something, Nikolaus, just say it."

Just be careful. ONI has a way of pulling people back in. whether it be with threats or promises. someone always goes back, for better or worse.

= I look back at the ceiling.=

Also, remind me later to make something to eat, theres a kitchen in here somewhere, with fresh food in it, and quite frankly, I get the feeling we may not be staying here very long.

"They've already tried. Failed, of course." David cocked his eyebrow again, "Where are 'we' going?"

I don't know, just a feeling.

=I close my eyes=

It's been a long day, I need a nap, theres a cot that pulls out of that wall over there =points to wall= if you want, you can catch some shut eye as well, it's not like we'll be disturbed by anyone. well, anyone other than Miss Cole that is. there is a bell her bed, so if you hear ringing, it'll probably be her. catch you on the flip-side David, you look tired, so rest up, there-be a charge in the air, something big'll happen soon. I can feel it.

=I begin to drift off into the voids of sleep=

David nodded, again having a lot of trouble believing the man. He seemed like any other spook he'd met...But he did need sleep. He chose the chair nearest to Ash ans slept sitting up, rucksack in-hand and his other hand resting on his holster.

me= him and syaa climb to the highest part of the base's roof and just stare at the clear star filled night sky=

syaa:what's wrong

me:nothing it's just that for some reason the air has always been relaxing even during stormsno matter what i'm feeling i feel at peace when i think of the air lately i've started remembering bits and pieces of my past

syaa: like what?

me: i remember playing with you as a kid and something about people with weird eyes and hiding from them

=syaa is alarmed at the last part but doesn't show it=

me: i've always wondered how do u end up on the thor with ashlie anyway?

syaa: i can't remember it's been so long

me: according to the logs i found u were put into cryo only 5 years ago but the thor was missing for 14 years strange

=after talking some more he falls asleep with his head on her lap=

=Ash slowly opened her eye's her head still spinning=
