Chapter 6 - Complications part 6

The plane begins to land down in a fairly decent look city, that is, of course, until a missile took out one of the wings and it began to crash into the earth. Nikolaus grips the chair he's in, then takes off his seat belt and equips a parachute, found in his luggage. He struggled to get to the nearest exit, and open the hatch. He looks around at the people doomed to die on the plane, and then jumps, nearly getting hit by the tail of the plane as he exits. He pulls the parachute, and as it activates, an A-61 Mantis Gunship flies up from behind the falling plane. Nikolaus has no weapons, and is powerless against the gun ship. Realizing this, Nikolaus looks deep within himself, ready to accept death, only to realize that he was not powerless. He had added so much to his body, that he had forgotten what he had added, but now, in the face of death, he remembered. Symbols begin glowing on his body, throughout his body, within his body. The blue bioluminescence was barely noticeable in the daylight, he lifted up his hand and thought hard about the A-61 Mantis Gunship, focused on it, he closes his outstretched hand, destroying one of the side thrusters, keeping it afloat, the Gunship plummeted toward the earth. His nose began to bleed, his ears rung, and his mouth was dry. A wave of tiredness swept over him as he drifted downwards toward the earth. Before he reaches the planet below, where a rescue crew was scavenging over the plane, he passes out from exhaustion and heat-stroke. From where he lands, he is once again stripped and taken to a hospital, where other survivors of the plane crash are being treated. The Blue Suns send and Assassin, Yaktshi, whom is just arriving at the hospital.

=i feel Lana next to me=

=i feel movement like that of being carried. i try to speak but it only comes out as a groan=

=i grab his hand in mine and fall asleep once more=

=I hear Dormii's groan.=

@Dormii: Hm. Your voice seems to be damaged. Okay then. Groan once if you killed the person who shot you, or groan two times if you didn't. And your not dead. Which is good.

(Dormii)

@Dormii: Ok. Any idea where he went? Groan once for north, twice for south, three times for east and four times for west.

=i kinda grunt an affirmative=

@Bellum: Oh. I am fine. That makes it much easier. Can you check Dormii's status? If he's stable, need attention. You get the idea.

--You didn't see the bullet wounds and the clash mark? I thought it was easy to notice. Anyway, he does need help. Can you do it?--

@Bullem: I didn't notice, I am used to ignoring human wounds. I doubt I could help... I could try anyway. What do I need to do?

--I don't know. I'm programmed for hacking and CQC. Neither of those usually has medicine involved. I'm still a relatively new AI.

=Scientia heads to the co-ordinates. He see's Dormii.=

No bullets are lodged in, so thats good. No vital organs hit. Biofoam required for now. Slash to the chest. Bandage needed.

So do we have any of that stuff?

Imagine the UNSC to hide in bedrooms. They were always the "stand tall and brave and proud on the battlefield" when I was there.

@Bullem: He won't make it there like this. Can you do anything with his armour that might help? Maybe lock it or something like that.

(Dormii)

@Senox: Pick up Dormii. We're going to the ship.

=I pick up Dormii and head to the Tromphnaem. Once inside I head to the Med-Bay and put him down.=

@Bullem: Deactivate his armour.

@Senox: Grab some bio-foam and a bandage. I'll tell you what to do.

(Dormii)

=i limp over to the medical cabinet and grab some bandages=
You have any idea how to do this? Because I don't, and it doesn't look these strips of my shirt are going to do much of anything for any length of time.

... I really don't know what to do, to tell you the truth...Is there any tweezers around here to get the bullets out?

@Senox: First clean the wound, then apply the bandage.

=I grab a tray of food and begin to walk back to the Medbay=

@Bullem: The Monitor deactivated. And hit Dormii in the face. He's still bleeding, what do I do now?

--Okay, apply tape to the edges of the bandage to it stays in place. There should be some medical tape nearby--

=i walk over to the wall and push a button that I hope is the "Need help now" button. It turns out to be true as a doctor comes in=

=I grab the Medical tape and put on the bandage.=

@Bullem: Can you see what there is about bullet wounds?

=I walk into the Medbay with the tray in my hand=

What is going on now!?

=I set the food down by Christina=

... yeah, I don't know how to remove a bullet, could you help us?

=i doctor sits us down and begins working on the bullet wounds. He tells us to put our weapons away, that we won't need them=
