ZRP-2 Chapter 6: Scattered

"True. And I already am holding said pole."
Hibiki began to fight with the fish like James was.

Eve gave Sam a quick hug. "Good."

(James)
=It was actually sorta fun, having her there, the two of us reeling in our catch. I was so focused on the catch that I almost missed the sound of groaning to the right, and on pure reflex I turned to see what it was. There was a zombie out on the edge of the river, staring at us, waving its arms. It even tried to enter the water, but it never came close=

(Sam)
=Grinning, I flipped over so I was on top, my hair hanging around my face=
"My turn."

=Then with a wink, I began to return the favor=

=The caravan led by Marcus continued down the road, passing over the bridge. Book had finally woken up, climbing out of the tiny cot they had pulled together on the bus=

(Book)
"Ugh....where am I?"

Hibiki ignored the zombie, managing to reel the fish in.
"Got it!"

Eve managed a quick peck on Sam's cheek before she relaxed into heaven.
She would have said I love you...but Sam knew that.
She knew that well.

*Marcus*
"Book! You're awake! How do you feel?"

(Book)
=I rubbed my head, still a it fuzzy=
"Like I've had too much to drink. How long was I out?"

*Marcus*
"Almost a week man. But you're better now, clearly."

(James)
"Okay, now we just need to...."
=Imrealized that with both of us occupied, there was no one to grab the net=

Hibiki rolled her eyes, the used one hand and her knees to keep her pole secure as she grabbed the net, holding it over the boat.
"Don't you dare wait for an engraved invitation!"

(James)
"I need both hands here, this is a strong fish!"
=But it was getting tired, and I managed to reel it in close enough I could see it through the water, a large black shape=

"I know, hence why I AM HOLDING THE NET. So hurry, my arms and legs can't really hold this damn thing very well!" She retorted.

(James)
=Reeling in the fish, it soon emerged out of the water. Another catfish, bigger than the last one, and it was still flailing n the air=
"Okay, bring the net!"

Hibiki grimaced, reaching out but ensuring the net remained over the boat.

(James)
=When the net was in place, I guided the flailing fish over the net and dropped it in. The hook was till there, so the line continued moving around and putting tension on the pole. I couldn't drop it, so I did the next best thing: I cut the line, grabbing my knife and cutting as little of the line as possible=
"Okay, now yours!"

Nodding, Hibiki fought with her fish, bringing up a catfish that was a bit smaller then james'. She fought it over and held it above the net.
"Cut it!"

(James)
=I cut the line, and the fish fell in, joining its fellow=
"Damn, nice big pair of fuckers huh? Looks like we'll be eating well tonight."

Hibiki nodded. "Yep. Nice job babe." She held her hand out for a high five.

(James)
=I slapped her hand, and looked down at the face=
"Come on, lets get them inside and prepared."

Hibiki grinned happily, grabbing the net and staying away from the edge.
She headed for the kitchen. "We're eating good tonight!"

(Sam)
=I heard Hibiki shouting something, right as I was.....giving Eve some attention, and my head rose=
"Sounds like there's food."

(James)
"So, should I cook now or do you want to try?"

Eve whimpered. "Just one more minute?" She begged.

Hibiki shook her head. "You cook. I can de-scale them and stuff."

(Sam)
=Grinning, I went back to what I was doing. Eve whimpered some more, but in a good way=

(James)
"Got it. I'll fire things up, you can kill them."
=That.....was a very odd sentence=

Eve closed her eyes and whimpered in bliss.

Hibiki nodded, taking out her knife. Setting the fist, she made sure they were dead.
"Gonna just straight up grill them?"

(James)
"Unless you have any suggestions? I don't have any batter or oil to fry them in."
=Truth be told, the thought of fried fish and some chips made my stomach groan in longing=

"Steam?" she suggested.

(James)
"Uh, I didn't even know you cold steam a fish."

Hibiki blinked.
"You can..."
She sighed. "Just grill it."

(James)
"Alright."
=I went back to preparing the grill=

Hibiki expertly got the fish ready.
"Alrighty! Let's cook this thing!"

(James)
"Okay, bring it over here."
=I gave her space on the grill=

Hibiki dropped it onto the grill.

Eve tapped Sam's head.
"You...you can just relax...I...I think we've done enough for one sitting..." The girl blushed. "But...I don't mind...you staying up there..."

(James)
=The hiss of searing meat became very audible in the kitchen=
"If only we had some spices. Or oil."

(Sam)
=Grinning, I gave her some last minute attention before working my way back up to her head. Tha was when I smelled the fish=
"Smells like lunch."

Eve sniffed. "Guess we're eating good." She wrapped her arms around Sam. "But wait until we're called..."

Hibiki sighed. "We should find a way to get salt. And pepper. Then we'll be good."

(Sam)
"Do we have to? We may get called last and miss the best pieces."

(James)
"Yeah. Until then though......we've got nothing but bland fish."

Eve gave Sam an insanely adorable pouty face. "Please?"

Hibiki nodded. "Yeah...unless we got some fruit or something here..."

(James)
"Think there's any fresh fruit around these days?

(Sam)
"Oh alright. But if we miss any good pieces I'll not do any of this for a week."

"No." Hibiki laughed.

Eve whimpered. "Fine..." She pouted. "But...afterwords...we can cuddle again...right?"

(James)
"So, think we should call them out? The fish is almost ready."

(Sam)
"Sure."

Eve released Sam, then waited for her to get off before rolling off the bed and retrieving her T-Shirt.
"And...you can pick if I'm shirtless when we cuddle...as compensation for having to deal my...past problems...ok?"

Hibiki nodded. 'I'll do it."
She headed for their room.

(James)
=I got the fish set on the plates, when they were done. There were only four though, I'd have to get the other two done for Trevor and Mark=

(Sam)
"Of course."

Eve handed sam her shirt as Hibiki knocked on the door.
"If you two are done being intimate, lunch is ready."

(Sam)
=I was fairly certain my heart stopped and my entire body went as red as m hair=
"Uh.....you know?"

"It's a quiet boat Sam, I heard you guys and your moans and whimpers. Judging from the intensity, I don't have to hurt you Sam. So hurry up before I have to eat the catfish by myself."

Eve stood there...redder then Sam's hair and embarrassed.

(Sam)
"Oh geez.....okay, we'll be out. Just let me....get my shoes on."

Hibiki laughed. "Don't worry. As long as you treat my baby right...you have nothing to worry about."

Eve went an ever worse scarlet as Hibiki left.
"...Um...Um...."

(Sam)
"Well, considering the way she sounded earlier....I'm guessing I treated her okay."
=Getting my shirt on, I walked to the door and looked to Eve=

"You ready?"

Eve hurried over, taking Sam's hand.
"Yeah."

(Sam)
"Eve....it's not that long a walk. Jus a few feet. You don't need to hold my hand."

"Don't need to. But I want to." She replied with a grin.

(Sam)
"Wow, one little intimate moment where I give some attention to your boobs and suddenly you're more confident. Should have banged you on day one....."

Eve blushed...again.
"...wouldn't have said no...and that wasn't really sex...more...foreplay, I think?" She looked at Sam helplessly.

(Andrew)

=I looked out the window and checked the sides of the road=

So Cooper, how close do you think we are to meet up point?

=I was just curious, because I hadn't seen anything out of the ordinary for a few miles=

(Sam)
"Heh, whatever you say."
=Then I opened the door and we walked out=

*Cooper*
"We have a long ways to go Andrew. It'll be hours before we reach them."

Eve giggled softly, following closely.

Mira yawned and slumped against Sarah, using the girl's epic boobs as epic pillows.
