(He raises his arm)
(The jackel shield bursts open)
(Deflecting the bullets)

(He runs to one of the attackers and kicks him in the stomach)
(He roundhouse kicks his head)
(The attacker falls to the ground)

(He quickly does a turn and smashes the shield into the face of another one)
(Grabbing the attackers SMG and firing)
(The bullets rip through that one and into another)
(Those two fall)

(He does another spin kicking one of them in the ribs)
(As that attacker goes down he uses him as a shield deflecting more fire)
(Throwing him into a small group that had formed)
(He uses the SMG to take care of that group)
(The four go down)

(He brings up his shield again to deflect more bullets sending them flying into the group that was firing)
(Those four go down)

(He runs into a group of six attackers)
(He grabs one of thier arms and snaps it)
(Bringing his other palm up to the attackers chest and punching it)
(He throws that body into the crowd)
(He takes another one down. Taking the attackers SMG and firing at the rest of them.
(The six fall)

(He turns to face the final six)
(He hadn't broken a sweat)
(The enemies raise their guns)
(They begin to shake)
(He looks at them his eyes on fire, more than normal now)
(He runs at them, breaking one of the attackers legs, then arms)
(Using the person as a shield and using the arm to fire the SMG)
(Soon they begin to drop from the gunfire)
(Five drop)

(He walks up to one of them)

Go tell who you work for to leave us alone.

(The man runs off)
(He looks around)
(Bodies litter the ground)
(He shakes his head)
(He goes up to each one of them and closes thier eyes)
Requiescat en pace

These people did not need to die.
I wonder if she saw all of that.
Why did I not just explain.
Why does it all have to end in bloodshed.
Why cannot people let us be.

(He runs off in the direction that Ash had gone off in)

=Standing on a rooftop overlooking the one-sided fights of a man vs the UNSC=

Nice, didn't think there was anyone on this planet with that kind of fighting skill. Lets see who this guys is.

=i lie down on the bed next to Jay's, my hand still holding hers. i recite the ceremony again, so it stays clear in my mind=

I accept that there are multiple gods, and to ask any one for help instead of them all would show Inequality.

I agree to defend Equality from all others who would attack it, but to never start the fight, on pain of death.

I accept that the gods watch, but may influence events.

Upon these words I swear, I give Equality to all, and to put others before myself, so they may experience Equality for themselves. I swear to never force anything upon anyone, for only yourself may truly know yourself, no outside person may know who you are.

Upon these words I swear, I am equal to all, and all are equal to me.

(He runs)
(Looking for Ash)
Cmon, Ash.

(he stops at another bench, sitting down)
(He thinks on what he had done)
(What he had become during the fight)

I felt a change. I always feel a change
Right before I fight.
Its like I am not in control.
I just do it. I just fight.
No concerns. No regrets.

=stop on a nearby roof overlooking where the man has just sat=

(He puts his face in his hands)

I am a machine.
I am a monster.

(He continues to sit there)

I gave her my word.
How could she forgive me.

*I look at him for a little while longer seeing if he is going to do something, but he just sits there*

Time to go.

I stop and look at him

I don't know, just walking. Looking at whats wrong with this place.

(His eyes glaze over)
(He scrambles for his pills, retrieving them)
(He goes down and begins to shake)

Frick!

(He moves his hand to his pill bottle)
(He grabs one and takes it)
(He waits)
(Soon the shaking subsides, his eyes return back to normal)
(His breathing also returns back to normal)
(He stands up, sitting back down on the bench)

Of course it feels real. That's the point of a dream. But really Elite Fire-Teams. And an escaped prisoner? It seems a bit fishy to me.

=i feel heat in my stomach, back, and chest. i look down and see two steaming prongs of plasma. i cough and the blade retracts, but not on the same path as before, it leaves slightly off center, leaving a larger opening. i cough again and fall over= Jay...run...

I sprint over as the elite pulls his sword out of Dormii. i side step a swing, vaulting over the elites head and grabbing it's throat from behind. I pull it over me, slamming it face first into the ground and repeatedly stamping upon it's head. I feel its skull crush under my foot as i turn back to Dormii

Hey come on. You can pull through this.

Tears start falling down my face.

You can't die.

I remain there, holding his hand until the last ebbs of life slip away. More tears appear and i stand up. I walk in the direction of the village and once at the centre make as much noise and shout as loud as i can. The Elites come running and i ready myself. The first few pulls out their swords and continue charging. I duck under a swing, flipping around the back of another elite and uppercutting the third. I back-kick the Elite i have spun around and grab the elite in front of me, swinging him around and throwing him into the first. By this time the second Elite has recovered and goes to lunge at me. I feel the searing heat of plasma burn over my shoulder as elites open fire behind me. I somersault over the Elite's head, grabbing his head in mid-air and snapping it. I turn and roll away from incoming fire, forcing one of the two remaining elites to catch the bolts in his stomach. I grab the fallen energy sword, activate it and chuck it towards one of the fire-teams, cutting off two heads as it spins horizontally towards them. I turn and narrowly avoid the incoming sword swipe, grabbing his wrists and twisting them. The sword drops and deactivates and i kick the elites feet out from under him. As i do so a bolt of plasma hits me in the back and i feel it burn through my vital organs.

Well you did want to die Jay. Who knew it'd be so painful

I fall to the ground, watching the last elite stand back up, pick his sword up and slowly approach me. He/She/it laughs and activates the sword, holding it at the edge of my neck.


Yeah.

I grin at him

Go fuck yourself.

The sword slices

You did, so i ran. Straight to the village centre. Surprisingly the elites killed me. As i wanted of course.

I grin at him

I stand up and walk to the window

I give us five minutes max.

No Dormii. Don't you see? Its all too obvious. We both dreamt the same thing at the exact same time? I mean really? Thats impossible. This is also a dream.

I stare around the room

Otherwise it's far too coincidental.

Here goes.

The ship enters the atmosphere and begins burning up, the section we are on detaches and begins to break down slowly. There is an ever looming island in front of us and we hit the top mountainside, deflecting off onto the local beach. Dormii is killed instantly and i am flung across the room, smacking my head off of the wall and bleeding to death.

(He looks up at the sky)
(Then back to the ground)

Lift this curse.
Cure this plauge.
Nothing can help me.
Death follows.
Memories stay within.
Make this stop.
Make this end.

(He stops talking and stares blankly into space)
(Lost within the chasms of his mind)

I wake up in the med-bay and see Dormii sat nearby. I grin at him, rather painfully

Told ya so.

=i look at her= What? What do you mean? Are you ok?

=i sit up, and realize that I am still holding her hand=

Erm, i told you so? I told you it was just a dream. Told you it wasn't real?

I see his confused face

Your not getting this are you?

=i shake my head= Not at all. =i finally let go of her hand, and look away= Jay, I wanted to tell you I was sorry. What you saw...I didn't have control over it. I couldn't do anything.

What? What? Wha...OHHHHH.

My hand jumps to my face and i feel the wound there. I sit up and take his hand back into mine

Dormii. How could i ever be mad at you? How could i not forgive you? I couldn't live in a world without you.

I point to the wound

This. This was me over-reacting.

=i stay looking away= But it was my fault. If I had yelled, fought back more, was stronger, something, it wouldn't have happened. I'm sorry.
