Chapter 5 Revelations of the Past Part 2

=as she leaves i tell her= Liar. You have plenty of questions, you are just afraid to ask.

=i lie down as the medics go to work=

I open a private comm with him, blocking off my armours speakers.

You seem so damn sure of that.

=i comm back, using a helmet from a medic as a commset= Because you do. I am an anomaly, a freak, offering to tell you the secrets about how your very soul works, about your own subconscious. Like I said, I can read the details. Your whole body, whether you mean it to or not, tells me you want to tell me a question.

Then you cannot read.

I turn and walk off, away from the med-bay

I can read just fine, but the details may be off. They are about Dormii, aren't they? About how he is, how will he be later, will he forgive you? Am I close?

He is fine. He will be fine.

I shut the channel off as he goes to speak once more and head on up to the bridge

=i ie still and stop talking as the medics and doctors treat my neck. i can see their fear in their eyes, their mouths, their breaths. i wait patiently for them to finish=

I stop half-way up to the bridge and a thought crosses my mind. I hit the comm open again.

Just answer me one question. Why did he ever bother with us?

Because he loved you. You were the person who never judged him, never saw him as a monster that needed to be killed and destroyed. You actually waited to hear the whole story of what happened, not just what the aftermath showed. You showed him how to try and lead a normal life, away from combat and pain and death. Like he said, he viewed you as an angel sent from heaven to stop his madness upon this universe.

You speak in past tense.

He's not sure what to think anymore. He wants to kill you, but you saved him from turning further into a killer. What you did in that room is as bad if not worse than what Aurafell did to him in her's. You have sent him back into the brink, Jay. Only now, I don't think there is any way of saving him. At least, nothing with out your help.

He will be fine. You worry too much.

You weren't there when he tried to carve his soul out through his skin, when he saw pain and death everywhere he looked, when he almost committed suicide because he thought he hurt you. He will not be ok, not if the past is any indication.

He. Will. Be. Fine.

Do you have a guarantee? Because he has done this only one, and he almost died because of it. This time is much worse.

I can prove it to you. I'll come right back there now and prove it to you.

Okay, prove it. Prove how you know more about the person that you pretended to love, than the mind who knows his every thought, feelings, sight, sound, taste, touch, and smell.

My voice becomes hysterical

You think i pretended. That it was all just an act?

Oh, yes. If you truly loved him, you wouldn't have slit his throat, wouldn't have lied to him, would've said those three little words he kept saying to you.

I lied to him to keep him honest. I slit his throat to keep him alive.

I turn and head back down to the med-bay, bursting through the doors and glaring at him

=my glazed eyes glare back= Oh? Some way of showing your love. He would've told you the truth no matter what, you couldn't do the same. As for slitting his throat, you cut his throat without first looking for a way to save him. You gambled on his life, he would never do the same. And yet, after all of these so called reasons, you still can't say the words he kept telling you.

My hands instinctively grasp my knife

Don't.

Don't you dare.

Don't what? Say the truth? It's obvious. How could you love him? He's a monster, a freak. A piece of equipment that's malfunctioned. That's how ONI views him, so how can you see him any differently?

I am not ONI. I took the time to learn you because i was interested. I view you as a human. My human.

And yet you can't say three little words to him.

He is a Spartan. Signals mean more than words.

You sure about that? If that was the case, then why did he tell you so many times? Why give you a personal name? Why consider marrying you?

My knife inches out slowly

And yet he is a Spartan, like you said. Signals mean more than words. If that was the case, if signals meant more than words, why tell you that he loves you? He knows you are a Spartan, so the same should apply.

The knife continues edging out.

Just admit it, you never loved him. It was all an act. After all, he is a freak, a monster. Killing all of those people.

I realise what im doing and sheathe the knife away. I open my armour's speaker system again

I dont care! GET OUT NOW!.

I watch them scurry out of the room and walk over to his bed.

=i watch them leave, my glazed eyes fixed on her, watching her movements=

=i silently let Dormii take control again. I put my arms around her and pull her close, my own kisses following hers=

=i pull her onto the bed with me, my hands already taking off her armor=

Here, really?

Don't care. Need. Splintering, fragmenting. PAIN! Can't stop. Need. Get it out. Have to. Can't stop.

=my hands keep going with what they are doing and my kisses keep going as well=

=i get most of her armor off and begin on her clothes underneath. my kisses get more heated more intense=

=my hands roam across her skin, finding things to play with as they go lower and lower=

Make it stop. Need, can't. Keep seeing. Them. Seeing them. Seeing it. Won't go away. Can't leave. Can't stop. Make it.

I keep the kisses up, determined to keep his mouth busy

=one hands finds the spot it was looking for, while the other starts working on my own clothes. the one hands goes faster, deeper with every thrust=

Woahhh... Dormii thats a bit rough.

=my hand slows down, going for the sweet spot. my other hand continues taking off my clothes until nothing remains. my kisses keep up=

Dormii....Cameras....

Don't care. Need. Must get it out. Have to.

=i grab her helmet and put it on. i hack the system and quickly shut down the cameras and lock the doors. i take the helmet off and continue=

Okay, that works i guess....
