Soul Academy RP

Rei blinked. "Uh, he's injured..." She glanced over to Lily, preparing to head over.

-Rin-

"So I noticed," I said to the pink haired girl. "Do you need any help?" I asked the boy.

-Jason-

"Uh.....no, I can make it to my room just fine, but thanks." It was a little odd being offered help like this from a stranger, but kinda nice really.

I nodded, watching Rei, Jason and the new girl as I answered,
"Yes, you got our names right, and yes, we just got this food,"

Orion bit his lip for a second as he looked at Reis food. He wouldn't do anything to it, but if she left the cafeteria he'd probably finish it up.
"So, Lily, what did you guys end up doing once you got off the train?"

Rei sighed, then headed back to the table, sliding in beside Lily. She dig back into her pancakes.

"We went to Pendragon, Jason had to go somewhere, and Rei and I went shopping," I answered bluntly, eating a small piece of my breakfast once I'd finished.

Orion nodded and smiled as Rei sat back down.
"Welcome back. Yeah, sounds like it was fun. I mean to come back to you guys, I missed my stop, but I couldn't find you on the train and got distracted by a few friends."

-Rin-

"Okay......so, I'm Rin," I said, extending my hand. "I'm a new student here at Sanctum."

-Jason-

Smiling shyly, I shook her hand. "Welcome to Sanctum. I'm Jason." We stood that way for a moment, and I took the time to look her over. She was dressed plainly, almost practically. She looked pretty, brown hair tied back into a tail letting her eyes shine brightly. On her hip, she had what I thought were nun-chucks, except that they were larger. "So, where are you from I asked?"

"Koga," I said. We started walking down the hall, and I wasn't sure he was aware of it. Guess the opening moments of the conversation were distracting for him.

Lucas scoffed, not really fooled by the whole phrase. He wasn't a stupid man by any stretch of the imagination. He then gave in to curiosity, not knowing if he'd not strike the right chord with them.

He brought his tray of food over and sat down a couple of spots away from the trio, saying, "'Just shopping'? I'm sorry, miss, but that hardly looks like you just went shopping yesterday." He then let his hand rest on the table, "I mean, your injuries hardly look like you went on a purely casual outing."

My eyes flared as I turned to face the new person, vaguely remembering him from my first day,
"And who invited you over here? And, to be honest, I don't think that what we do is any of your business,"

"Hey Nick, you gonna be in homeroom today?" Asked a third year in Nick's class.

"Yeah, today I will." I said smoothly as I ate.

"Alright, uh, as a heads-up, some of the guys have been wondering about your.. uh.. soul power," I looked up at him as he spoke to me. "they might ask you to show it off."

I put down my fork. "Yeah? Not going to happen."

Lucas backed off, taken slightly aback by Lily's tone, "I'm sorry if I was prying. I was just merely observant, is all." He then looked at her almost casually, "As for the lack of an invitation, I didn't want to interrupt you in the middle of your conversation."

He then said, "Like I said before, I apologize for any offence that was rendered unto you. I know when my presence isn't wanted." His tone was apologetic as he went back to the table he previously occupied, his mind already berating him.

Smart move, you self-centered idiot. Way to start off on the right foot. Very smooth genius.

As he sat down, he sighed and facepalmed, feeling like an idiot.

The other boy was taken aback."Why not? Nobody in our year has seen you use your ability."

"So?" I said, dismissively.

"So, do you even have one?" I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, they let me into Sanctum, and I don't have a Soul or special weapon. That's exactly what happened." I tried to make the sarcasm drip from my mouth. The 3rd year didn't know how to respond. He walked away shaking his head, "He's so fucking weird." he said under his breath.

"Um. I can explain the injuries." Rei blushed. "Um...I kinda...got er in a swimsuit...and uh...I kinda lost it..." She giggled, embarrassed. "She did a number on me."

Lucas looked back and chuckled, clearly amused by the comment. "I can...easily see that happening. She looked like she wanted to snap me in half."

He then smiled, "Sorry if I didn't introduce myself earlier. I'm Lucas Marcel, from Lamorak."

Orion looked at Rei for a bit, brow raised in confusion. He hadn't noticed the injuries, but now that they had been brought to his attention he couldn't miss them. But, given how Lily reacted, he avoided talking about them. It'd be best to ask Rei alone, assuming she was ever separated from Lily.

Then again, he'd only seen them twice now. Wasn't a fair assumption to clump them together.

As the pair walked, it became clear that there was a.....chemistry, of sorts between the two, Jason and Rin. It was nothing romantic, simply banter and conversation that evolved from simple, casual talking, into a friendly conversation. Jason still didn't tell the truth about where he got the injuries, instead saying it was a training accident. During the walk, Rin displayed just how good a person she was, as Jason had to stop a few times to hold his side during a bout of painful throbbing. A look of concern would form on her face and she'd ask if he needed help, and everytime he politely said no.

Eventually, they managed to reach the door to Jason's room, Rin hanging back a bit. She liked the guy sure, but she wasn't going to get too close to his door. "Well Rin, thanks for the walk. And the conversation," Jason said as he moved his hand to the door knob. "Sorry I can't give you much of a tour of the school, but I'm sure if you ask Rei or Lily--she's a blonde that Rei hangs out with--then they'd be more than happy to show you around. Just tell them I sent you." Rin nodded, smiling a little. "Sure thing Jason. Thanks.....now maybe you should lay down, you look like you're going to collapse." He grinned at her, opening the door to walk back. "Well, I've survived worse. Just a quick nap, and I'll be okay. Thank you Rin," he said, to which she nodded before walking away. Slipping back into his room, Jason laid down on his bed for a short nap, inwardly smiling at the new friend.

So that was one guy who wasn't a complete dick. Suddenly it looked like there was hope for men as a gender, and for women.....well, he wasn't astounding, but at least he was decent. Nice even. Anyway, I still needed to get a decent tour of the campus, and Jason already suggested Rei and Lily, his friends. She had a good idea of where they were, so she headed back for the cafeteria, finding them easily enough as she walked to their table. "Uh....Rei? Lily? I'm a friend of Jason, he said you girls could show me around?"

I looked up at yet another newcomer, and yawned before I spoke,
"Hello," I sighed, starting to get fed up of the attention Rei and I were getting this morning, "If we have time after classes, then I'd be happy to show you around,"

"Same!" Rei smiled. "Of course we'll show you around."

"Okay," Rin said, smiling a bit. "So, how much longer before classes start anyway?" she asked.

Orion blinked, zoning back in for a moment and noticing a new girl had come to join them. He simply listened to the conversation, not wanting to butt in on what already must have been a thrilling dialogue exchange.

Cain arrived at homeroom ready start his day. It didnt take long for the other students to arrive.

"Soon, I think," I answered her, "And your name is...?" I added, standing up.

Extending her hand, Rin smiled a little. "Rin. Rin Okawa, pleasure to meet you.....?"

"Lily Ito," I answered, shaking her hand, "That's Rei Sizuke and Orion..." I added, pointing them both out, realising I didn't know Orion's surname, "And I don't know him, but he's called Lucas." I finished, pointing out the other boy.

-Rin-

"Ah, okay Lily. Well.....I should probably go and check the time, see how long we have until class starts. Maybe if we're lucky we'll be in the same class?" I said rather hopefully.

I shrugged as I walked over to the cleaning area, where I left my plate and cutlery. I stopped as I passed the table I had left the others at, on my way out of the cafeteria,
"Maybe," I said to Rin, "If not, we'll definitely have some classes together," I continued, smiling, before adding to the rest of them, "You should hurry up if you don't want to be late,"

-Rin-

"Wait," I said. "When I left Jason, he said he was going to take a nap. We should uh....probably wake him up, don't you think?

"The teachers would understand if he didn't come in at all," I said, starting to walk towards my class.

-Rin-

I moved to catch up with Lily. "Wait really? Why, is it because of his injuries?" I asked her. Probably being a bit nosy but.....he was a decent person who was hurt, so that made me concerned.

"Yes," I answered her, not bothering to elaborate any further on what had happened to him, Rei and myself.

Rei glomped Lily, having fallen behind.
"Hey! You ditched me!" She pouted.

"Okay.....I'll just sum it up to a training accident then. So, I guess enough about him, tell me about yourselves? I mean what do you think of Sanctum?" I asked the two girls as we walked.

"I didn't ditch you, you didn't come with me," I said to Rei, before I looked back at Rin, "I like Sanctum," I said, "And I'm glad I got to come here,"

Rei pouted, arms not leaving Lily's waist.
"Hi." She said to Rin.

-Rin-

"Hey," I said to Rei. "So, I guess it's a good place then? Not too many assholes wandering around?"

=gets done and picks up her things and heads to homeroom=

lets get the day starting

"There are a few," I replied, "But not that many, besides, it's not like they're a problem,"

-Rin-

"Once thought the same about some assholes in my neighborhood," I said as we walked. "That changed quickly."

"It usually depends on how you deal with them," I replied, "It's not like the ones here are anything more than cowards," I yawned before I spoke again, "Do you know which homeroom you're in yet?"

-Rin-

"Uh.....not yet. I mean I have a schedule with me but I don't know the room number, where it is I mean." I got out the schedule, unfolding it and handing it to Lily. "Do you know where this is?"

I looked at her timetable and read the room number,
"Yes, that's the same room as us," I said, handing the timetable back.

-Rin-

Smiling, I said "Oh, cool. So I'll just follow you then?"

"No," I answered, stopping at the door to our homeroom, "We're here now, so there's no need to,"

-Rin-

Blinking, I looked from Lily to the door, then back again. "Huh, that was fast," I said. Opening the door for everyone, I waited till they were inside before I walked in to find a seat.
