Metro Story (Private RP)

Anya groaned, sat up, and spat blood out of her mouth. Her hands were bound and her armour and weapons missing, which she found unnerving, this meant she was a prisoner, probably of the Reds seeing as they didn't get involved in battles with the Order or Hanza, which also meant she was probably going to be executed. She scanned the room, noticing other people with their hands bound, who they were didn't matter right now, as they could be her only way to escaping.

"Hey," she whispered, "Any of you alive?"

Katyusha stirred hearing a voice call out, shuffling she shifted against the wall, her hands testing the restraints that bound her wrists together finally settling when she had sat up. She shook her head to try and clear the fog that numbed it. Well this was not good, the girl from Hanza pondered who was behind their capture. As there was fascist in here with herself and the rest of them, Kat concluded that it was not the fascists who where behind their capture.
"Yeah" Came a hushed reply. "No point in asking if you are..."

What happened?  Aidan thought to himself as he was half unconscious.  The day prior he was travelling through an undiscovered station, making his way to one in the Ring Line, when everything went black.

His eyes opened as the pain in the back of his head ached and he could feel his hands bound tightly with rope.  Knocked out?  His vision was still a bit blurry as he looked around, but he could tell it wasn't too well lit of a place.  He heard voices, but Aidan just listened at first.  It sounded as if these people were also captured, so he broke his silence.

"Where are we?"

He hadn't bothered introducing himself just yet.

"I don't know, probably in some commie prison awaiting our execution," Anya spat back at the new voice, she went silent for a moment, thinking. She had been near Belorusskaya, on her way back to Reich. Belorusskaya was on the wrong side of the Red Line. "Where were the two of you caught?" She asked, almost starting to panic. If it wasn't the communists, then it was some other group that may be hostile to Reich, and if it was, the Reds had made it behind Reich.

"I ran into trouble on the surface... Hanza won't be pleased whoever is behind this" Kat answered quietly keeping calm though she missed the feeling of her body armour. She did not say where she had been caught, her cell mates where still relatively unknown. However Hanza's business was surely to attract attention somewhere down the line.
Kat fell silent, listening, testing her restraints in an attempt to see if she could free herself from them. It failed, the old rope biting into her skin.

Aidan pushed himself up with his bound hands.  His entire body felt tender and sore, probably from sleeping on the hard floor.  He was now standing with a bit of a hunch as he looked around the room and saw the two who were talking back.  Both female, which he could have already told by their voices.  All of his weapon were stripped from him, along with his coat, mask and Whistle.

"Somewhere south of Polis.  Don't know where exactly."

"If you were near Polis, then the Reds probably didn't do this," She said, looking around. The door to the room slammed open, with three men, two armed with AKs and the third a pistol holstered on his hip, walking in.
"Get up," the first one said, "You're going to dig,"
"Fuck you," Anya replied, earning herself a backhanded slap across the face,
"Next time you'll be shot, understand?" Anya spat out some fresh blood, and glared at the man before complying.

"Shame if I would have known I'd brought a shovel" Kat muttered sarcastically but she stood up. There was little choice in the matter here. In order to escape one had to think long term, obey for now survive longer and escape would happen sooner.
The release of death was not the one she wished to have just yet. Kat wished to return to Hanza before she died the safety and power of her home was glorious in her own eyes.

When the three entered the room, Aidan braced himself, getting ready to pounce them if he had to.

"Dig? Who the hell are yo-"

He was cut short by a stock in his gut. He had no clue who these guys were, they didn't where any insignia, so they probably weren't Reds or Nazis. Maybe bandits? he thought, but was shoved into moving with the rest.

The prisoners were guided into a station, devoid of any markings or signs and covered with blood. In the centre was a massive hole, with other people digging in it. A shot rang out as one of the armed men circling the pit opened fire on a worker, for seemingly no reason.
Anya had heard rumours about this place while in Belorusskaya, she didn't think they were true, though.

Kat's eyes widened at the sight. This would present a problem to her plan, perhaps time for an early escape the moment they have their hands untied. Maybe they'd get lucky and someone would rescue them.

Aidan had a pretty bad feeling about this.  He had been captured before, but this place felt like it was straight from a horror story.  Finally they were lead to this large hole where people were digging and guards patrolling.  

"What the fuck...?"

Aidan said beneath his breath.

"Get down there and dig, you worthless pieces of shit," said one of the guards, striking Anya in the gut with his rifle as he did, winding her. As she doubled over coughing, the guards cut her bonds and dragged her to the edge of the pit, where she was sent down a ladder, the guard aiming his rifle at her as she descended.

The same story happened to Kat who did as she was told biting back a response. She hoped that one of the others would be coming up with a plan as well. Katyusha could not escape by her own accord, she would need her recent allies in the form of the prisoners she found herself with.
Beggars cannot be choosers and agree with them or not Kat would have to help the fascist. As for the other one, she had no clue who he was allied to. Regardless they would need to work together if any of them was to make it out alive.

When the guard cut Aidan's wrists free, he just stared at the armed man.

"What's gonna keep me from taking your gun and using it against you?"

The guard snared at Aidan. "You really think you can make it out of here alive? guess again. Get down there!"

Once Anya was in the pit, she picked up a shovel, and subtly tested its weight. It was heavy, heavy enough to cause some damage if she swung hard enough, but they had rifles, and were surrounding the pit. If she tried anything, she had a feeling she'd be gunned down. The shovel could still be useful in an escape, though, if she managed to find a way of not being shot.

Kat picked up a shovel and set to work obediently. She feinted submission while all the while waiting for the most opportune moment to try and escape from this nightmare.

Aidan grabbed the least splinter handled pickaxe he could find and began chipping at the ground.  Every so often he looked around him to see how the guards patrolled and to see how many there were at different times.  They obviously don't mind shooting their slaves, they showed that when they shot the man earlier.  Aidan's mind raced as he mined at the floor, trying to figure out how he would escape from this.

There's no way I'll make my escape down here, they'd shoot me on my way up the ladder.  But, they'll take away the only weapon I have before I go up, I imagine.  I could disarm one of them, but I have no clue how many of these guards they have, or even how to get out of here.

He looked over at the others.  There was well over a couple dozen of people here.

They may be the key to getting out of here.

The twins were not saying a word. They dug silently, but they paid attention. Keeping a close eye out, Nikita began moving around, checking out the other prisoners out as Sasha continued.

Anya started to dig, mindful of the AKs surrounding her. The hole was about thirty-five meters deep, which meant that the ladder was the only way to get out, and that any of the guards that weren't in the pit would have a clear line of sight on all of them.

She continued thinking and digging until another shot rang out, causing her to jump and turn to see one of the guards executing a slave with a shot to the head. If she could get a gun, and some cover, there was a chance at escape, provided that enough of the slaves would help.

Nikita slotted in beside Anya.
"So. Who did you belong to before today?" She asked quietly as Sasha worked his way over.

Kat remained quiet, focusing on her work ignoring the destruction around her. She belonged to no one except Hanza. She would be free and everyone of these slaving criminals would fill this hole with their bodies, it would become their graves in the hole that they had their slaves dig.

Anya looked at Nikita, studying her face before she answered,
"I was with the Reich," She answered, watching Nikita's face carefully for a reaction, "What about you?"

Aidan overheard a few of the other prisoners speaking to each other. One of the ones he had exchanged words with earlier said she was from the Fourth Reich. Aidan hoped that people wouldn't strike feuds about each other's factions at a time like this, but that may have been asking for too much.

Aidan noticed the other woman he spoke with earlier was staying pretty quite. He moved a bit closer to her, whilst making it look as though he was still working.

"What about you? You from any senseless military?"

"Hanza..." Kat answered while she continued to work, her mind focusing on how to escape. If they could get a single weapon then they would be more than able to slaughter these pretend soldiers that guarded them.
"Yourself?" She inquired keeping the conversation brief, there would be time for talk later when they made it out of this nightmare.

"Hanza, good. The least amount of Reds and Nazis the better."

Aidan took a quick look around to make sure none of the guards weren't getting suspicious.

"I'm just a survivor. No allegiance."

Nikita leaned closer.
"My brother and I...we..." pausing, she ensured no one was near. "We are Spartans."

"Ever consider joining Hanza? The pay is good and so are job benefits I mean look at me now digging a hole" She smiled slightly, her joke clearly of poor taste but something that Kat found amusing. She would have been laughing where it not for the probability that it would have brought some very impolite guards with guns her way.

Anya stopped digging for a second as she watched who she had just found out was a ranger,
"From the order, eh? Good, that means you can fight," She said, stopping as a guard's gaze passed over her.

"Yes. The Order. Rangers, or Spartans. Whichever people prefer." Nikita muttered. "So yes. We can fight. But our fighting skills do no good without even a single gun."

Aidan smirked slightly and let out a small chuckle at the Hanza guard's comment.

"Never really crossed my mind. I got other things to take care of before thinking about settling down somewhere. Getting out of here is at the top of the list."

"Somehow I agree with you entirely on this one" Her voice was heavy with sarcasm. "Do you have a plan?" She whispered under her breath, while busy digging.

Anya watched a guard nervously out of the corner of her eye as his gaze paused on her for a few seconds, before she spoke to the Ranger again,
"There's enough prisoners here to get us away without weapons," She said, "If we can get enough of them to riot, we can escape. They probably have our equipment around here, too, so we could retrieve it on the way,"

"Da." Nikita muttered. "We just need the help."
Sasha finally had sidled up. "So. Have we found what we are looking for, sis?"

Aidan took a deep breath and looked like he was in thought as he quickly scanned around the inside of the hole.

"I think our best bet is the next time they let us out of this pit, we all try disarming the guards. Only one of us has to get a firearm and it should be easy from there."

He stopped and made sure the guards hadn't noticed him talking.

"Assuming they'll even let us out..."

"Oh they'll let us out at some point" She whispered though she did know when that would be. If they could get their hands on one fire arm then liberation was all but secure.

"Seem pretty sure about that. For all we know, the only way to get out of here is as a corpse."

Aidan had a thought, but quickly dismissed it.

"Positive thinking, Hanza always find some way to survive and so will we" She grinned slightly, continuing her work to avoid drawing attention to them. Kat was not about to let herself die in a hole here.

"Heh, positive thinking.  Not something you get too much of, these days."

Aidan slammed the pick into the ground, then thought the one thing that should really be the big question on everyone's minds.

What the hell are they digging this hole for?

"Yeah well if you can wake up each day and smile then today is a good day" She responded, continuing to dig with her shovel. Kat did not care for the reason as to why she was digging the hole, she cared only about escaping this terrible trap.
"Not sure if I told you, but I'm Katyusha" She whispered to him.

If you can wake up any day with a smile, then you might have a head injury.

Aidan thought about saying that aloud, jokingly, for a moment, but worried she might get offended by it.

"Aidan. Aidan Delov."

Aidan gave Katyusha a nod, in place of a handshake, as they'd probably get shot if they did.

"A pleasure thought next time if you want to talk to me we don't need to get captured" Kat joked poorly, she had a strange sense of humour. She nodded back to him a while later to make it look like they were not communicating.

"We'll have to get a drink in Polis if we-"

Aidan stopped for just a moment, choosing to reiterate his sentence.

"When we get out of here."

He cracked a smirk on his face.

She smirked at him and winked. "It's a date then a nice cup of vodka will do fine" She returned to work, keeping up the fake disguise of a willing save.

Aidan nodded.

"Always been more of a whiskey man myself."

He said as he swung the pickaxe over his head and slamming it into the ground. If the light Russian accent didn't give it away, then that sentence alone probably told her he wasn't fully Russian.

"You might do well to avoid the Nazis then" She whispered in reply, for Kat possessed no love for the Nazis. She hefted the shovel again, ignoring the painful burns in her muscles.
