Dante-L...Lynn...

(She smiles)

Lynn-My god...it...is you

Dante-What are you doing here.

Lynn-I can ask you the same question.

Dante-I was....captured

Lynn-Funny, cause the last time I saw you, you were dead.

(She crosses her arms)

Dante-I....i know.

(He stands and walks up to the window)

Lynn-Why. Why couldnt you come with us.

Dante-Lynn. You need to understand.

Lynn-Understand what? That you are over me. Im not over you.

=She shifts uncomfortably in her chair=
I... I don't know... I'm sorry... I was trying my best... I thought I was doing okay, it's been awhile...

=She shakes her head breaking her eye contact with the man=
My training...

(Admiral)
And at the wall? You seemed to hesitate before starting, why? You didn't hesitate with the minefield.

=She continues to stutter her words nervously=
I don't know... I needed a moment... I had to clear my mind...

(admiral)
=my voice starts getting filled with anger=
Why? You are a Spartan, the supposed best of the best. Are you telling me you had to think about following order? You should follow them no matter what!

=She's insulted by his tone, she tries to match his tone but fails=
I... I don't know... I was never a very high ranking Spartan... And I don't take orders from you... Why does it matter...

=She retreats back into her chair=

Dante-Im sorry Lynn, But I told you. Those years ago. That we could not be together

Lynn-You have broken my heart so many times. How can I still love you.

Dante-I.....I dont know.

Lynn-You were the first person I loved.

Dante-I know. You were the first person I loved as well.

Lynn-Then how can you throw it away! All of that time!

Dante-I......Am truly sorry.

Lynn-Is that all you can say. You are sorry for breaking my heart. All of those times. Let me ask you a question.

Dante-Hmm?

Lynn-Do you still love me?

(Her eyes focused on him)

Why does it matter? You are a Spartan for god's sake! You are supposed to be an example to all of what they can be, better!

the Doctors comm. device buzzes "Nik...I have a question about the Black Hand. Do they have engineers and whatnot?" the Doctor doesn't hear, however, and remains sleeping, dreaming about that day in the facility. The nightmarish events that unfolded. Nothing in the laws of physics could prove what happened. the things that happened shouldn't have, it was impossible. People are not thrown around by forces unseen. It didn't make sense. That in it of itself frightened the Doctor. As a man of science everything had a reason to it. but to such events as those that happened during the mission. He knew of no science, no, recalled no such science to be evident. Perhaps there was. Perhaps somewhere in his life he heard about some such science. In America, a whole city had been abandoned, no one knew why. Now, however, is not the time for scientific ventures. Now was the time for thought. Ashlie Rebecca Cole was aboard an ONI ship, her status unknown. That was more important. How would he board the ship? could he even? ONI only tells people, Spartans, Employees, etc. what they want you to know. Seldom to they reveal the whole truth. Sometimes they don't even tell the truth.
It could be, that one of the spartans betrayed the others ONI. But who could it be? The Doctor has only met three Spartans. perhaps it was the one he didn't meet? Dormii mentioned her name to Draco. Jay. That was it. Perhaps it was her who betrayed them. The Doctor should have had his assistant look into it. He is in a better position than he to do so, after all. So what can the Doctor do? show up and surrender? ONI would be forced to show its hand if he did that. No. He would wait. He would wait until ONI noticed that a Covenant Ship was orbiting the same planet that a Prowler was. Interesting how they didn't notice before. Perhaps the Pilot of the ONI vessel was green. Didn't know one ship from the other. Pity. He could have the ship open fire on the vessel. that would certainly shake things up a bit. But what if Ash was injured? She was a stellar student, back on Arcadia. Your pride and joy, you got along so well with her parents. Her grandparents. Her family. You even knew and had relations with her Great-great-great-great-great Aunt. Those memories are behind you now. the doctor shakes his head of these thoughts and slowly begins to awaken from this deep sleep and meditation.

=She doesn't know what to say, just sitting in silence=
What can I say..? He's right..? There's no excuse...

(Admiral)

=i slam my fist on the table=

Dante-No. I dont. Some of the feelings are still there. But I have overcome them.

Lynn-I see. Thats it. Your done.

Dante-Dont say it like that

Lynn-We had something. We were so close!

Dante-I know

(Shaking her head)
(Pushing her red hair behind her ear)

Lynn-You dont. You just dont.

(She walks off)

Dante-Lynn!

(She continues walking away, tears streaming down her face)

Lynn-You cant possibly understand!

(He sighs)
(He walks over to the bed and lays down)

Ugh... I... I...

=She stares at he man unable to think, her heart continued to race=
I... Don't...

(admiral)
=i sigh=
Jay! Take her back to her cell, we're done.

=i watch as "Lynn" walks away. to Draco=

Hey, you wanna talk about it?

It was so shocking to see her.

=She stares at the man while she's waiting for=
Great Ash... Just great, now what..?

=She drops her head trying to hide the small tears that begin to form in her eyes=

(He looks up at the ceiling)

Jesus, that means the others are here

I open the door and step into the room, saluting the Admiral.

Sir.

I turn to Ash

Come on.

We leave the room and i shut the door. We begin to head back down to the cells.

That couldnt have gone worse...

(Lynn)

(As she storms off, she sees the two spartans from earlier)
(She doesnt care and storms right past them)

Who, the hell does he think he is.
We loved each other!

(She wipes some tears from her eyes as she is walking)

=She says nothing to Jay, still hiding her tears=
He's right... I've got no excuse... The only thing I am...

=She see's Lynn pass her, she looks at her confused=
Who is that..?

I turn to Ash and see she is upset. I hug her.

Ignore him. He thinks we are just weapons. Your stronger than this Ash.

=She pulls away from Jay=
Don't you understand? I want you to leave me alone...

=She wipes the tears from her eyes, trying to act like nothing happened=
Why even bother..?

I sigh

Fine. I shall.

I call a couple of marines for an escort over my comm

Enjoy going through hell Ash.

The marines arrive and i signal them to escort her back to the cell before turning and walking away down the corridor back towards my quarters.

=After a while of sitting and thinking and remembering, i see Ash come back to the cell, escorted by Marines, instead of Jay. I see that she is upset. I call out=

Ash! Everything okay? What happened?

=As she's escorted by the marines she glances back at Jay=
Just ignore her... She's trying to mess with you...

=She shakes her head sighing=
I can't believe I let that happen... I couldn't even say anything... What would Draco think of me..

=She and the Marines reach the cells, she sees Dormii shout out to her=
Nothing Dormii... She just took of...

=She's pushed into the cell by the marines as the lock the door behind them=
Home sweet home...

=i stand up and go to the door=
I meant to you, Ash.

=as he's working a unsc destroyer appears out if slipace and attempts to open comm=

shit get the ship ready to launch make sure the shields are working

(He sees her enter)
(He stands and walks over to her)

=She looks at Draco, shaking her head=

=She looks back to Dormii=

Just say what happened. We are both here to help you, Ash. Although, Draco probably can do more than I can.

(He takes her hand and leads her to the bed)

What happened

=He heads off to the training room, but on the way, passes a Marine coming from the Prison=

Xazhi- Marine, would you happen to know the status of Spartan Ash?

Marine- In her cell sir. Alive and well.

Xazhi- Thank you marine. Dismissed.

=He heads off to the prison, but as he gets there, decides not to say anything to Ash, but rather to let the dust settle between them, so to speak. He leans against the wall and humms Carol of the Bells to himself=

=She sighs still hiding her tears=
I couldn't say anything... I was asked about the test... I... Couldn't even say a single word...

=She drops her head as her eyes darken=
I can't... What will they do to me...

(He takes her hand again)
(Pulling her down next to him)
(He hugs her)

I snap out of my daze and pick the sheet up before heading down to the cell area. I note the Spartan stood there. He was the one who i dismissed earlier. I glare at him again before handing Snow the sheet for tomorrow's training. After a couple of quick words i head back up to my quarters but flick the cameras on in the cell area

Night?

The AI appears next to me

Who is that?

I point at the Spartan on the screen

=He hears Draco and Miss Cole conversing about the uncertain future. He tries to alter the sound of his voice, and does not move from his position against the wall outside their door, in order to remain anonymous=

Xazhi- Dont worry, ill put in a good word for you.

=He chuckles slightly, unaware of the true severity of the situation=

=She rest her head on Draco's chest listening to his heart beat=
I hope so... I love you Draco...

=She closes her eyes=

(He kisses her and closes his eyes)

I glance at Endless Night as she scans her databases.

No idea. They do not appear in any of MY databases.

So we have a stowaway? A Spartan too?

It could be one of the Admirals spooks.

True. He does keep things quiet.

I shall try to find out for you. Be careful.

I wave as she disappears and watch the screen with a sigh

=i sit on the bed and remember more of my past as I twirl the energy scalpel in my hand=

Matt-Yea, Dreamy, we are going to enjoy the time we have together to the fullest, like any minute may be our last.

Karl-Jokingly: I'm surprised from the way you two act you haven't gone further.

Lana/Matt-Hey!

=we all laugh and get on the Pelican. I don't realize that this is the last time I see them all alive=

=the memory fades and I continue twirling the energy scalpel in my hand, unaware of the cameras watching me=

=starts the tropaehums engines and prepares to pull away=

Fire, brimstone, and ash fall from the sky. The land is scorched, black and lifeless. The sky red with black smoke blocking out the sun. The land shakes as it is ripped asunder by the volcanic fury of mother nature. White-hot liquid seeps from the ground, and fumes rise from once living organisms. Organic gases rise and are so volatile that they last for but a second before igniting. The planets core was expanding. Unknown event causing it to twist and lurch about growing like a cancerous tumor. The plates cracked. the ocean slowly evaporating putting up an intense steam that rose like death off a carcass. The atmosphere changed and as the magnetic poles of the planet switched and moved the atmosphere eventually fell apart. a solar wave leaps from the sun and travels to the planet, striking it with gamma rays further destroying it's surface. the planet appears to expand for a moment, before collapsing in on itself and causing white-hot material to shoot out from it's core. nearly instantly cooling in the emptiness of space.

=I read over the notes carefully=

=i remember the raid on the Innie outpost=

=we all move out, making as little noise as we can. We use hand signals to communicate, to avoid any chance of interception of radios. we hit the ridge and Karl starts scanning for targets=

=i decide to go for a walk around the ship. i leave the energy scalpel behind, tucked under the bed. i duck out through the hole and walk out of the cell into the hallway of the ship. i do my best to look harmless as i walk around, looking at things, not really caring where I am going=
