SL-Keep 'em pinned boys! Marksmen! If you've got a shot, take it! Let's show these guys who we are!

=They sprint forward, ducking between spots of cover, and shoot down a few marines on the way. They approach the wall=

Rachel- Snipers on the walls!

Xazhi- Take em down, Rach!

M1-Sarge! They're getting close!

SL-MEN! ADJUST AIM! Closest target first!

=the men adjust aim and keep shooting=

=I take of my helmet and lay down with her=

The sun is almost down...

(He notices it getting darker)

Looks like the moon wants to play.

(He flicks on the flashlight)

=i look up, not an easy thing to do in this armor. i almost fall again, but i catch myself by grabbing a tree=

=i look back down and turn on the shoulder lights for the armor, causing a massive drop in my night vision, and making me unable to see anything not in the light= Oh, great.

=i leave the lights on for the engineers=
Well, this is gonna suck when I turn this off. No more night vision.

=They rush forward again, and duck into the trench under the wall of the fortress. They set up a charge and blow a hole in the wall=

(He continues walking)
(He takes out the AM and does another sweep)

(Marines)
=the explosions sends men everywhere, the SL is killed from the fall off the wall=

M2-Shitshitshit! What do we do now?

M3-We fight Marine! Hooah?

M2-Hooah.

=the remaining few soldiers on the wall fire down at the breach. Meanwhile, troops set up inside the base for defense. Turrets are man-handled into place and sandbags set up around them. Barricades go up in choke-points to help stop the invaders=

(Dormii)
Seeing anything?

=They rush into the main room, a large octagonal room, witha few bits of cover along the edges. They duck down, and start firing on the gun positions=

(He shakes his head)

Not yet

(He comes across something)

(He sees the edge of a structure)

Keep going there is something ahead.

(Dormii)
Understood. Let's just hope this damn forest doesn't stop me.

=i keep stomping along, pushing back branches and snapping them where necessary=


(Marines)
=the turrets open up, covering the room in a lattice-work of tracers=

(They near the structure)

Hmm.
Interesting.

(They had stumbled across an old UNSC Firebase)
(A building that looked as if to be the barracks was seen)

Alright. Looks like we found what we were looking for.

=Xazhi throws a handfull of Firebombs over the wall and at the gunners=

(Dormii)
=the lights fall onto the building=

=I send a message to Snow and Justin=
Hey, Snow, Justin, we found an old firebase. Placing waypoint for ya.


(marines)
M4-Grenades!

=the firebombs impact and the gunners scream as they are burned alive. The turrets go silent=

=We get back in the vulture. Setting a beacon at the field=

We may need that if we choose to build there

=They head to the firebase and land=

=They advance further into the base, taking out marines in small groups as they go. Eventually they get to the reactor room=

Xazhi- Here it is. The generator room.

Jacob- What do we do now?

=Vitali, Mark, and Xazhi take rather large bombs out of their packpacks and places it at the base of the generator=

Vitali- We have exactly 10 minutes to get te fuck out before this place lights up like a christmas tree.

Xazhi- The transport is going to be here in 7 minutes. That gives us 3 minutes to fuck up. Dont fuck up.

=They prime to bombs, and start heading back out of the base=

(He sees the Vulture land)

This will do. Nothing fancy.

(He sighs)

SniperLeader-Troopers set up on the ridges. We'll hit them as they come out, got it?

Toopers-Got it.

SniLea-Don't fire until I give the order.

=the troopers get set up on the ridgeline, pulling ice camouflage up around them to avoid being spotted. Inside the base, more Marines try to push back the invaders. A flamethrower is called in=

Whoo, that thing is fun. Gravity can be a bitch though.

It's a start. We can build off of it, take it down for scrap, etc. Same goes for most of those buildings you told me you saw. Go knock some of those down, we got building material.

=after thinking for a while, about Matt, Scythe, myself, i lay down on the bed, relaxing. i close my eyes and focus on breathing, meditating for lack of a better term=

@Dormii : We can test the vulture weapons on thise structures. Maybe, but this is a good start.

(Grey) : We can rebuild all this easy.

=They come around the corner and a flame thrower marine blasts Xazhi in the face from about 8.5 yards down the hall=

=The marine gets filled with bullets as Mark puts some medication on the burn. Xazhi puts his helmet back on and takes point with his hazed vision. They come out into the open snow. As they run, Jacob sets off a red flare for the Transport=

(Justin) : I ment on the towers.

(Grey) : Lets get rest. We can do all of it tomarrow.

(He heads off into the forest)

Well, I'll be making some program adjustments on the Cyclops. I got an idea or two for some tweaking.


(Marines)
SniLea-Hold your fire, troopers. Wait for a good target.

@Draco : Have fun. I haven't trained in months!

@Dormii : Good luck. That vulture is way smoother and better than a Pelican

=They stop on a flat patch of ice as the transport becomes visable in the sky. Scythe turns around and looks off at the station, waiting for it to explode=

(He slices through the wooded area)
(He finds a small lake)

=six rounds of super-sonic AP rounds fly through the air. a small cloud of snow is kicked up around the snipers=

=Xazhi watches as scythe goes down in a cloud of blood and snow=

Kurbis!

=He rushes over and takes off Kurbis's helmet to take his pulse. The other soldiers start firing into the mountains=

Ah, shit. Come on, Kurb, dont you fuckin die out here!

=He draws his prisol and starts firing into the mountain=

Are any of you medics?

=They all reply No=

Dammit!

=The transport touches down and they rush Kurbis inside=

(Marines)
SniLea-Adjust fire, adjust fire. Target the transport. Fire at will.

=the sniper start shooting the rounds at the transport, but the rounds do little to no damage other than cause sparks. a few rounds make it inside the cargo bay, but none find their mark, simply bounce around in richochets=

=Xazhi ducks down to avoid sniper fire as he carries Kurbis's unconcious and bleeding body into the transport. It starts to lift off. They take off his chest armor and put pressure on the wounds=

Kurbis, if you die i swear to god i will kick your ghostly ass right to the fuckin underworld!

=He gets a fresh rag. The blood continues seeping through=

Ah, shit. This is bad. This is really bad.

=He turns to the pilot=

Does this thing go any faster!?

(Marines)
SniLea-Cease fire, cease fire. They're gone people. Let's go home.

=at that moment, the base explodes, sending shrapnel everywhere=

The Doctor Snaps awake in the Hospital. He rips out the I.V. and the other equipment attached to him. He shreds the Hospital gown and searches the room for his clothes, only finding his underwear, pants, socks, and boots, he leaves the room; Shirtless. His rippling muscle shown to the world. He storms out of the Hospital. Shirtless. the civilians of the unknown Insurgent planet look at him strangely, with awe and wonder at his height and build. The Doctor takes a quick look around and heads to the nearest parked vehicle. He Cracks the window with his fist and opens the door. He hot-wires the car and takes off. Having a long way to drive to the nearest insurgent outpost. He puts the petal to the metal and takes off. Leaving the city behind him in a matter of minutes. The yellow-vehicle races down a highway of some sort. traveling near 400 m/s. The Doctor needed a ship. He was going to get one. According to Sophia, he had 6 more hours of driving to do before he was at the next outpost.

(He ends with one final diagonal slice to a tree)
(It falls to the ground with a loud crash)
(Birds fly out of some nearby trees)
(He begins to cut up the trees for firewood)

Yeah. You would love this

(He smiles piling up the wood and starting a small fire)
(He sighs sitting next to it. Looking out to the lake)
(A vision appears next to him)
