Dawn Squad

It is 2552. You are an ODST of Dawn Squad. Dropped over the city of New Alexia during the battle of Reach, you were tasked with helping to repel the covenant presence in any possible. You will take the handle of 'Dawn- *INSERT NUMBER HERE.*'. You have very little fire support and the city has been in Covenant hands for days. Your drop was scattered however, so you will have to link up and avoid contact.

Biography: She signed on for the ODST's as soon as she was old enough. She's been a member of Dawn Squad since it's commission, though only holds the position of Dawn-Two, preferring to leave command of the Squad to a better person.

Name: SGT. Erika "Fox" Schwarz - Dawn Three

Age: 25

Race: Human, Caucasian

Gender: Female

Skills: Erika is capable of moving quickly and remaining undetected for long periods of time. She is also adept at quietly removing threats, both from a distance and at close ranges and is a fair marksman.

Erika has red hair, usually kept short or tied up, and green eyes. Across her left cheek she has several deep scars, ranging from her jawline to her eye. She has several more above her eye.

Biography: Erika was born and lived on Mars, where she lived on a large farm with her mother, father, three brothers, and two sisters; many of whom also enlisted into the various branches of the UNSC Military. Upon her 18th birthday, as had become a family tradition, Erika herself enlisted with the Marines. She served in both the Marines, and the Marine Force Recon for five years, before enlisting with the ODSTs. Her last mission, a completely classified operation, resulted in the deaths of all seven of her squadmates, leaving her to be transferred into Dawn Squad.

Name: Private First Class. Connor Lawton, Dawn-Seven

Age: 29

Race: Human, Caucasian

Gender: Male

Skills: Lean and rather thin for an ODST but what he lacks in brute strength he makes up for in wits and mental aptitude, and he likes to blow things up.

Role: Engineer/Explosives expert/General cause of mayhem

Appearance: He has short closely cropped brown hair, his dark brown eyes bear the haunted look of someone who watched his home planet burn from a young age.

Current Location: A highrise office building, near the center of New Alexia.

Current status: Currently unconscious but coming around.

Bio: Connor was born on Harvest and at the age of two watched it burn from orbit as he and his older brother were evacuated. Unfortunately, the siblings lost both parents in the invasion and were quickly pushed into many foster homes and orphanages, as soon as he could Connor chose to sign up to the Corps. About 3/4s of the way through his fifth year he was requested to join the ODSTs and was sent around from unit to unit before being deposited in Dawn Squad about a week before the invasion.

Name: Staff SGT. Luna "Lotus" Faulkner - Dawn Four
Age: 25
Race: Human, Half-Asian/Half-Caucasian
Gender: Female
Skills: Lotus is a good Marksman when using her sniper rifle and pistol. She is quick on her feet allowing her to move from perch to perch where available. She is observant of her surroundings and prefers to use the next logical step in her planning.
Drawbacks: Lotus is obsessed with completing the mission and will do anything in her power in order for it to be a success. She has prosopagnosia, making it difficult to discern the faces of people she sees and due to this she has trust issues with people. She isn't very talkative outside of the mission due to her trust issues.

Appearance: Lotus has short black hair. There is a beauty mark located under her left eye. Her eyes are a dull blue. She is of average height and weight for a woman and ODST her age.

Biography: Lotus was born and raised on Alluvion and lived a happy life with her family until 2542 when the Covenant came and glassed her lovely homeworld. She, as well as her family, had managed to escape the planet on transport ships weeks before the glassing could take place and were relocated on Earth. Her father had enlisted into the army as soon as he was able in an effort to seek revenge for fallen planet and three years after, Lotus did the same. She would leave her mother and sister on their new home planet and would enlist into the UNSC Army. While her prosopagnosia caused a bit of trouble at first, she proved to be a capable and efficient soldier. It was not long until she was asked to join the rank of ODST. She would bounce from squad to squad as the need would arise before finally being placed into Dawn Squad.

Skills: Alongside his training, he specializes mainly in close quarters fighting.

Biography: Born in the city of Casbah on Tribute, Jacob was always a loud and rambunctious kid, finding trouble quite easily amongst the dockyards where the roaring engines of the cargo liners and starships always intrigued him. To him, the reaches of the galaxy were the ultimate goal, and he played with his friends for days, trying to find ways on to the liners that could take them to the stars. It was not until he was fifteen that he actually made the decision with a few other friends of his to stow away aboard the Nanook, a cargo ship bound for Reach. It was the opportunity of a lifetime, but before they had even reached the hold that they supposed might be their home for the coming journey, they were captured by a few members of the dock security. Nearly mistaken for terrorists, he considered himself lucky not to have been gunned down on sight.

Years passed and with little want to stay on the icy planet, Jacob told his parents his plans to join the UNSC. They were reluctant to see him go of course, hearing about all of the fallen who had given their lives to fight the insurrections, but he knew they wouldn't stop him. Saying his goodbyes, he was all too ready to throw himself at the best unit he could get into. After moving between a few units, he finally finds himself in Dawn Squad, ready to join the fight for Reach.

Name: Sgt. Ryan "Phantom" Francisco - Dawn Five

Gender:Male

Skills:Despite being less built than most ODSTs, he makes up for it.  He's a beast on the battlefield, but quick at the same time, making him dangerous, earning his nickname.  He's powerful enough with a pistol and an SMG.

Weakness/Drawbacks:He's way too confident for some things, and will do anything to save others, unless those others are Covenant, of course, unless he somehow befriended one, he also keeps too many things to himself, and is too trusting of others.

Bio:From New Albany on Draco III, Ryan was by far the most willing in New Albany to become a marine, most likely after the age of 17, where Draco III was invaded by the Covenant.  Him and his family moved to Reach, and lived in New Alexandria.  He enlisted into the army after living for 2 months on Reach to seek revenge.  He was more than capable to become an ODST, despite his lean figure, and when requested, he accepted.  He was moved from squad to squad before being put on Dawn Squad.

Name: Lawrence G. Kaiga - Dawn Eight, Lance Corporal

Age: 26

Race: Human, Caucasian

Skills: Medicinal care, Various weapons training's, tends to learn things a bit quickly when he can with with them in his hands.

Role: Support/Medic

Appearance: Dark Brown-Blackish hair with bit of a long head with a "5 o'clock shadow". His Brown ees always seem to be analyzing something. He is moderately built but does not seem to show it.

Biography: Born on Earth he was eager to join the Marines. He thought education was too boring for him so he decided to join the military. He proved himself to be a decent soldier in almost all fields. He has a knack for patching wounds. His skills in various fields brought him from the marines into the ODST Program. Prior to his transfer he has had some combat experience as a marine. He was then moved to Dawn Squad for deployment.
