I sit here locked inside my head.

(He sighs. Looking out to the pool)

Then. I was in a ship. Or, part of a ship. Uncertainty is life. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. It was large, I could feel the size of the Ship. It was like the feeling of a Genus Loci, except not. Forerunner tech was apparent. So was another Tech, unknown. it wasn't Human, that was certain, nor was it Covenant. The tele-porter looked familiar. Couldn't place it. I was standing. I think. No, I was in a tube, drifting, I was covered in incisions, bruises, my body was damaged, I could feel it, I could feel the liquid interfering with the healing process. I was being kept in this injured state. Now, my curiosity needed to be sated. A pile of clothes lay not far away from the tube, neatly folded and placed. I could barely make out what one of my devices was saying. David was near. Somehow.

=falls asleep and fails to notice the sensors going off=

=inspiration hits me as i work and I move over to the chemical station, looking up the recipe for C12 and C4, seeing which would be easier to use for this project=

Jack: Tell me, or I'll have to start breaking more things.

(The Innie grows even paler)

I estimate we will be at Sigma Octanus IV in no less 13 hours.

Wow. 13 hours? it was going to get very boring, very fast.
