Well, let's find a way in. From there, we need to get a map.

I can hack it, if you want. I've perfected hacks that the UNSC doesn't even comprehend.

Hey, it's all yours. Just remember, once we get in, security will be tighter. Hacking, might not be so easy.

=i open the hack command on my HUD and break into their network. I find the terminal for this door and search for the access code. I run into a diagnostic subroutine, but I disable it and get the code. I input the code for the door and it opens=
Ta-da. Not an alarm anywhere is going off.

=I walked in, and brought up Argo=

Great. Okay Argo, try and find a map, or a basic schematic. I want to know how big this place is, and where we need to go.

=I entered the system. I managed to bypass most of the security firewalls, until I found a directory, and browsed through the file names until I found the one marked as "Layout."=

Yes. I was created for hacking, so i know how the game is played.

(Jason)
=I opened the map, and sent copies to both Dormii and zeru=

Trust me, Argo knows what he's doing. He may fly my ship when needed, but he's an A.I. meant for hacking.

First, we need to find some stairs. From there, we split up.

=i get a comm from Talfie. I route it through Vigil's comms, giving it an all cleared signal as well as background static, to make it seem like a signal just going through the system=

=We walked down the stairs, until at the fourth level down, we split up: they left for the data center, and I continued my descent into hell=

=I walked what must have been another six flights of stairs, until I came to the tenth lower level. The map showed that I had to go right, and keep straight, until I got to the Officer's section=

Great, more walking.

=I started walking, my rifle raised=

Odd, where are the guards?

Argo, are you reading any security teams?

Security teams are focused on the main floors above you, as well as around the planetary defense weapon.

(Jason)
=Okay, that got my attention=

Wait, planetary defense weapon? What the hell are you talking about?

=I brought up a schematic of the weapon in question=

In addition to the standard Orbital defense grid above this base, which comprises of only seven platforms I might add, there is also a massive weapon buried beneath the ground. According to these plans, it is a massive version of the M6 Grindell?Galilean Nonlinear rifle, or Spartan Laser as you know it. The main part of the weapon is underground, directed upwards. A focusing lens, as well as a mirror, direct the beam where needed. It is powered by at least four fusion generators, independent from the grid of this base.

Well that's just great. A massive Spartan Laser weapon? A single shot could prove deadly to any ship. Argo, you said it's power supply was independent from this base's grid. Can you clarify?

(Argo)

Shutting down power in the base will not disable the weapon. And I cannot access the weapons mainframe; it is separate from the base's network. Even if I could get in, there are at least three smart A.I.'s monitoring the system. I would be destroyed.

David and Nikolaus Make there way up the mountain to the Landing Zone. They trek through the snow of the blizzard. David, having to continually help Nikolaus, knew the path he had to take from the cave he took shelter in to the LZ. It was a long path, with many a steep slope to it. Rubbing his fingers over the grooves of his helmet, he looked down at the somewhat delirious doctor, hoping to get a clear answer.

He, himself, had just gotten out of his own little episode back on the Black Hand vessel he had been issued. He was still suspicious as to what had happened. but wasn't making a big deal about it right now.

The large inteligent ship had travelled to this galaxy after observing a number of interesting events;


the pro-longed life of Nikolaus Oehlberg, the Transylvanian;


The apparent War between one intelligent species and several others;


Finally, the Activation of the Sigil.


All these things were interesting,


and after years of waiting in the dark,


the great ship began to scan the area,


using a technology far beyond that of the those current species,


learned these 3 things:


The Parasite was spreading,


The Sangheili and the Homo-Sapiens formed an alliance,


Nikolaus and David were in a time warp.

Well, that's just great. Look, try and send a message to Dormii and Zeru. Tell them about the weapon. I don't know if they'll be able to shut it down, but they at least need a warning.

=I continued walking, until I came to a door at the end of the hall. According to the schematics, there was a series of elevators around the side of the room=

=I opened the door, and found myself standing in front of what looked like at least, three platoons of Spartans. I could tell they were Spartans by the way they moved, but the armor was different. It wasn't MJOLNIR they were wearing, it was something new=

=They all charged me, but I already had my knives out. Sure, I could have fired on them, but that would take up ammo, then I'd have to reload, with the rest of them trying to kill me. The first came at me, and tried to hit me with a fist. I sidestepped, and brought the knife sideways into his neck, killing him. My knife stuck there, and I used that to pull his corpse to me. I pulled the knife out, and used the momentum of his body to throw it into the crowd. Some got knocked down, but the rest kept coming=

Bring it!
=The next two, i dropped with both knives, thrown into their skulls. I lost my weapons though, and switched to punches and kicks. I moved through them all, though it wasn't easy. One of them actually jumped on my back, but I grabbed them, pulled them off, and threw them off. I proceeded to fight them all. They were actually weaker than me. I snapped necks, arms, legs, etc. I have no idea how long it took, but when I was done, it was Jason-150, Newbs- 0=
