Zombie Story: Threads of a Tire

=The Duckboat was going to need to be repaired... And who would do that?... I walk to the back of the Duckboat.=

I grab some of my gear and head out. I head out to the ruins to see if there is anything worth finding yet.

=It's a shame I took a wrong turn and found myself looking at a Duck boat, crashed into one of the old ruins that litter ireland, I sat in the cart, dumfounded.=

=I take out my pistol and fire 2 shots through the wood=

=sees the guy from earlier pulling shopping carts=

In my trip around the ruins. I don't find anything. I do however see Nic with his golf cart and a crap load of shopping carts behind him. I walk over.

"Wazup. Need a hand?"

=I turn around and unload a bullet into a Zombie's head=

=I fire another shot into the wood=

=I look over and see Garth=

"Wha- no, I don't, Just heading back to the Safe area with some stuffs."

=pointing to the Duck Boat=

"you see that idiot, drove right into a ruined building..."

I look over and chuckle.
"Yeah...not the brightest guy right there. So, need a hand with any of this stuff?"

"nah, it's all covered. But, i'm a bit turned around, mind showing me back to Lispatric? I'll probably need some help. After all, this stuff won't sell on it's own."

I smile.

"Not a problem at all. Follow me."

I start walking back towards the Safe Area and the slums and so on.

=having to turn ever so slightly, to avoid having the carts fall over and be dragged, I turn and follow Garth=

I hear the person from before yelling. I look and see them. I yell back.

"THIS!"

I turn and fire a grenade over the heads of the Zeds. It explodes behind them. They all turn and start heading back. I chuckle to myself.

"Too easy."

=I look casually at the Zombie horde, now shambling away, in the rain, that has been pouring hard, for awhile now.=

"eh, I DEGAF"

I can't help but start laughing when Nic uses that term.

"Glad some things aren't forgotten."

=I laugh too=

"yeah, brings back memories."

I smile.

"I managed to check in on the old forum. Some of the others are still going there."

"really? tell em I said 'hi'."

=I continue driving=

"hey why don't you get in? this'll go faster that way, ya'know?"

"'Cause that would be too easy?"

I chuckle and climb in.

=starts heading back to the slumm=

=I smirk=

"well ok, be like that."

I give a look of innocence.

"I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about."

=My smile widens=

"lawls ok, fine, I see how it is..."

I tilt my head, trying hard not to laugh.

"Whatever do you mean?"

=I simply stare at him.=

I can't help but start laughing again.

"Just like old times."

=keeps walking behind them=

"yeah-p, well, sorta"

"Well, take away the Zeds and yea, kinda like old times."
