=I pick up a nearby pin and screwdriver and insert them into the needed areas of the lock=

Hmm

=I turn the pin first, trying to get that sweet spot. I then turn the flathead=

Cmon.

=I move it slowly and steadily. It begins to shake. I take a deep breath and turn the pin the opposite direction. I turn the flathead again and it begins to move smoothly. I hear a ker-chunk and smile=

=I drop the tools and open the fist box. Empty.=

Great.

=I catch up to it, jump out of the boat, grab the bird and swim back to the boat.=
=I climb out of the cold water. My clothes wet now Great=
=I don't care about my clothes right now, I have food!=
=I run into the kitchen and start getting the bird ready to eat.=

=I bow my head and reach for the tools for the second box. I get so close to getting the sweet spot, but the pin breaks as I near it=

Fuck...

=I sigh and pick up the empty box. I begin to fill it with the food and other supplies from around the room=

Not much. It'll get me through this though

=Once I fill it with enough food and a few bottles of water, I leave for the apartment once more=

=Continues driving, keeping a weary eye on the road.=

=Well, the silence was starting to get to me, so I began to sing. Yeah, that's right, sing. Mock all you want, but with the fact that there were now zombies all over the world, I honestly did not care how people judged me=

"There she was, just a walking down the street, singing 'Do wah diddy diddy dum diddy do.'"

I sighed and lowered the balaclava covering my face. For the UK, it was hot. But, I had to wear this stuff to protect my identity from anyone I was going to kill. I didn't think I was going to kill these guys.

=As I leave the little store I peer down each side of the walk. Spotting a few of the walkers roaming as they normally do. However upon further looking I can see a small group near a door of one of the nearby buildings. It had been a short time since I have seen actual life, and the most recent body I found didn't get my hopes up. If it was a living, breathing human. It would be best to try to help. I needed the social interaction. Life had gotten somewhat boring after the major attack on my former groups area. I look down at my box and sigh as I lay it down and retrieve my crossbow. I begin to walk towards the small group slowly and as quietly as I could=

=hit's a rock, and the Cart jumps a bit.=

=sees the cart hit a rock and he goes around it and chuckles=

=I started the fires grabbed a pan and threw the bird on.=
"Mmmm starting to smell."
=At this point in starvation anything is delicious and smells incredibly great.=
"Just a little more!"
=I lick my lips disgustingly, dehydration taking its toll.=

"You call that a rock? I've seen spiders bigger than that in Afghanistan. Those fuckers eat people alive."

=I hide behind a corner near the walkers. I can hear the banging that they were making just to gain entry into the building=

That's not going to attract more

=I pop my head out and stick my crossbow out as well. I aim and fire. One drops. The others look around as if confused. They return to the banging of the door=

One down. Four left

=I continue driving, we'd be at the first checkpoint in about half an hour.=

=I look around my yacht and saw smoke. Quickly I shut the boat off before it over heated.=
"Looks about done."
=I flip the bird on its side checking if it was properly cooked which it was.=
=I put it on a plate waiting for it to cool.=

=half an hour passes=
=we approach a gate, it was a chain-linked fence with wooden posts on either side, a chain fence was attached to either side, it stretched as far as the eye could see, which was just to the top of the nearest hill. =

"Jimbo..."

=A dirty fellow with ragged clothing came out from behind the post, the chain-gate was closed.=

J-"'ello, looking for passage?"

=Legendarystory nods his head in affirmation=
=Jimbo opens the gate, and we pass through=

"one more.."

=sighs with relief=

-to himself- [finally we're close]

=It wasn't long before the Legion camp came into view.=

"We're here...."

maybe i can find someone willing to trade for this thing they could scrap it for all i care

=I wake up and get up out of my cot=

Long freakin' night that one was...

=I reach over and holster my Colt M1911's, sling my AK-47 over my shoulder, and sling my crossbow over my shoulder before eating my meager breakfast=

=I saunter through the camp; guards giving me a knowing nod, a smile, or a simple thumbs up=

Nice to see a smile. Not much to be happy about this day in age...

=I then sit down for a quick breakfast, hoping nothing would go wrong=

=silenty yawns as they neared the spot they could get off at[/u]

=I look at our destination in shock and disgust.=

"Are you fucking kidding me? The legion? Are you mental?"

"We have an....understanding...Just don't shoot anyone."

"You'll have to forgive me for not making any promises."

=I finish up my quick breakfast and walk around the camp=

So far so good...nothing bad thus far...

=I peer down the scope of my AK-47=

Would you look at that...more survivors, exactly the company I like...

=I put my AK back on my back, hoping one of them wasn't the paranoid type=

=looks around the camp and wonders what the main plan is=

=I then head into the 'garage' to tend to my much loved car that is named affectionately 'The Beast'=

=As I head in, the mechanic gives me a knowing nod, knowing that I'm usually the one working on my car=

(To myself) Daddy's missed you, my little Beast. Yes he has, yes he has.

Mechanic:=Rolls his eyes= Dear God, Archer. You lavish more affection on that machine more than you do a person.

=With sarcasm=Well, the car doesn't turn into a zombie now, doesn't it?

=I load up the the Beast's twin M60 machine guns and check the engine=

Does the engine run well?

Mechanic: Does a bear crap in the street?

I take that as a yes.

=The mechanic sees me loading the M60's=

Mechanic: Convoy run, today?

Don't know yet. Hopefully, no.

Mechanic: Gook luck either way.

Thanks, man.

Mechanic: Don't mention it. Heard rumor that an aquaintance of the Legion is comming in.

I'll be sure not to go gun crazy.

=The mechanic and I smile, and I then go back to inspecting my car=

=keeps an eye out for any trouble=

The bird tasted good enough I suppose. Especially when you've been starving for the past three days.

=starts to get a little hungry=

"We're looking for someone. We might get some gear too."
