(He snaps from his trance seeing Torres instead of Zayne)
(The pain shoots from all around his body)
Torres?
(He begins fading, into the darkness)
Ashlie?
Anyone?
(He falls to the ground)
(He looks up at Torres)
What did I do?

=I awoke from my much needed sleep, not remembering where I was I sat up.=

Medical Officer: Oh good, your awake, you seem fine besides a little bruising on the head.

Me:=Smiling= Doctor heal doctor

Medical Officer: you have to sign out before you leave

=I signed out to go to my barracks, the only people there were the ODST's who didn't go on the ship=

=i round a corner, seeing both Torres and Draco fighting. my helmet has a new carving, the words "never again"= Draco! =i get a glimpse of Torres' face= T...Torres?

=my shotgun raised, i advance. a second trigger is on the handle, and another sight is raised just above the normal ones=

=i scream at both= STOP! NOW! =i add a bit of banshee to the words. not enough for pain, but enough to get noticed= You are friends! Do not make me stop this! I WILL shoot to kill!

=i see draco go down. i point my shotgun at Torres= NO! MORE, Torres!

(He hears a familiar sound, then a scream)
(Whispers) Dormii?
(His thoughts go black and the replaying of Ashlie leaving him in the medbay plays again. Like the skipping of a record. A sick, record)

=feeling the wires in my chest I hunch over feeling the blood in my hands=

=to Torres= Stay. Down. I do not wish to harm you anymore. You are my friend, you will stay that way. Do not make me kill more friends, Torres.

=my finger rests on the second trigger. i dont want to press it=

=sees the fighting while killing the last remainding boarders= he! knock that off i want u all to chill now

=as Dormii gets closer to Torres. Torres looks up. Dormii sees Torres's eyes and can see the killing intent intent in them, something Dormii is not use to seeing in his old friend=

=almost crying/screaming= WILL YOU SUBMIT?! =softer= Please, don't fight me, Torres.

=Suprised by the figures scream Torres feels no motive to continue and blacks out=

=heads to torres to begin medical care=

=sees Torres fall= =relieved= Thank the gods.

=I pull the razor out, trying not to cut open more flesh=

=to Zeru= I'm sorry. I chose wrong, I shouldn't have shot him.

=i chuckle= if only we were normal, huh?

=i move to draco= Cmon, asshole, wake up. If you die on me, no-one is going to stop me from killing Ash. If she doesn't kill herself over grief, that is. Get up!

(He hears Dormii)
(He sits up slowly)
(He takes off his helmet and coughs up blood, smiling)
(laughs)
Lay a finger on her. You will not see the light of day

=to Zeru= Good thing I'm not a medic, then.

=to Draco, patting him on the back= You'll try.

=to both= I'm going to look for survivors. Comm me if you need me.

=smile gesture= Please don't need me for anything.

(He stands slowly and looks at Zeru)
(He kicks Torres' sword hilt to Zeru)

(He staggers off, unfeeling of his many wounds)

=in the infirmary, i remember something= Hey, what was the "viking program" you talked about months ago? You never told me.

=shocked= What? A puppet? What the hell? Anything else?

=The doctor stands behind a sheet of glass looking down into the test chamber, one of the former crewmen of the ship is laying on his back fully conscious and aware of his surroundings, but the man is not aware of whom is doing this to him. The doctor pushes a code into the terminal panel, machine hum to life and begin to do their horrible work, the man notices the needles positioning themselves over his body, he sees their size and begins to scream, probably recognizing that the needles were going to enter his bones, the doctor enters in another code, and the machines begin their work, to the music of beethoven. The doctor smiles, as he watches the man before him receive injection after injection. all the while looking at the terminal reviewing the mans vitals and condition. well making subtle last minute changes to the concentration of some of the solutions. the heart monitor sets off a beep telling him that the man needs to be sedated before his heart gives out from terror, the sedative is applied. this one has lasted longer than the others by this point, this one might be able to continue on to phase II....=

=semi relieved= Well, at least no-one else has to suffer this life of mine. Thank you.

I'm going to go sleep. Try not to need anything, ok? Oh, and if that giant ship ever does anything besides sit there, docked, let me know. I don't like the looks of it.

=walks off to quarters=

A scientist never sleeps, even if the days work was successful, there are always more tests to be done, but tonight, I think, I will allow myself this luxury, sleep.

-Onboard "The Victory"-

As The Victory Leaves orbit and enters slipspace the newest passenger and member of the crew is just settleing into her quarters, she's standing outside of the door to her room as she passes her passcard over the scanner, the screen flashes and shows the rooms current status.

She selects 'yes' and is granted access to the room, inside is a mess, gear and clothing are strewn all over the floor and and bed, but ine side is still left bare and untouched, so she sets her bag on that side of the cabin and lays down on the bunk, she closes her eyes and decides to catch up on some sleep till the ship is out of slipspace.

=i walk past the medbay, and i see Torres. he's different, angry, detached, emotionless; it's almost like he was swapped with Zayne. I go in to talk to him=

Torres, how are you holding up?

=I wake up in the Medbay bed looking at the scars my body has endured, then I remebered the voice...that scream that had invaded my skull since I blacked out yesterday= Why did it sound so familiar. =I see my chart and read through it= Hmm a fractured rib, a broken jaw and some deep wounds. =I hear a voice near me and I look to see who it is. His face is unfamiliar, I do not know him= There is no Torres here, you might want to look somewhere else.

=i stare at him, eye to eye= You are Josh Torres, commander of the UNSC Prowler, Quantum of Solace. You are my friend. Why did you attack Draco?

That is not my name. And who is Draco? =he remebers the fight from the other day= The other one. =looks away= I..I don't know really.
