William was somewhat puzzled about Zeru's statement.
"Everything should be fine. Just keep your crew away from my ship, and we'll be good."

James sighed as he nodded his thanks but declined "if it is ok with him i would like to stay in the ship with gitz..."

I turn around and leave the room, heading towards mine for some sleep. Which'll be restless no doubt.

=wakes up after having went to his room and gets up and heads to the bridge after putting on his armor to get ready while getting something to eat on the way to the bridge=

I wake up from the unfamiliar sound of the alarm clock. I reach over and turn it off, then rolling out of my bunk and onto my feet.
I go over to my closet and put on some clothes of some sort. Fatigues or something. They feel so weird after my month on Fervens.
God that feels like just yesterday I was there. The lonely days and nights trapped in a underground bunker of some sort. I wouldn't wish it on anybody.

I leave the room and go straight to the messhall, grab something to eat and go to the armory. Finishing the sandwich as I arrive.
I notice there's some rust on my armor. Loads of scratches and dents on it too. All of them reminders of my battles. With a sigh, I start putting it on.
I finish quickly enough and grab a magnum for security. Hooking it to my side. I begin walking towards the bridge.

=sits down in the commanders chair and leans back pulling up the recent list of status updates=

William allowed James to sleep in his extra bunk.
He hadn't gotten much sleep, fiddling with his slipdrive. But he eventually crashed in his chair and got a few hours in. William grabbed his tactical belt with his weapon holsters attached on it, and buckled it around his waist.
William figured he would make his way to the bridge, and speak with Zeru about the infiltration plan.

James slept very little that night...he kept staring up at the roof of the ship...thinking over the possibility that he may be the last Spartan II...he got up eventually and put his helmet back on...he resented being so young...he checked his weapons and walked to the bridge...he sighed as he got there

I see the Spartan II walk into the bridge before I do myself. Once I'm in I see the first freelancer, Zeru and Darnok.
Probably not his first name...

glad you all made it,lets get started on the planning

"Please, indulge me in your invasion plan."
William sits in a nearby chair, not really caring if it belongs to any of the crew.

"How big is the base? And are we going in full force, or strike team?" William leans back slightly in the chair.

size do not know and we'll go in 2 strike teams one is us and a squad which will be split into 2 smaller groups maintaing close contact but moving in on seperate objectives the other is a spartan and an odst squad we'll arrive in drop pods right into the base

Strike teams again eh? Can't say I'll like that.
"Drop pods? Wouldn't that be a bit much for some of your people?"

The Rising Dawn sat there, motionless, venting heat from the jump. It was huge by UNSC standards, but still not the Infinity.
The Dawn's lights flickered a bit, then turned off.
Sora rubbed her eyes. "Play dead. Keep the lights off, try and keep them off guard."
Xion yawned and complied before her hologram winked from existence.

=With everything that had been going on, I barely had anytime to really think and organize my thoughts. Honestly, it was as if the whole Galaxy could not stand to see me and Haven left alone to think. That said, I was able to finally think clearly long enough to dismiss the Base leaders from the room, along with Miranda, leaving me for the first time all week alone. Reports were still streaming in from across the planet as I logged into the B.net, and I was soon caught up in a wave of requests for orders. The new alien arrivals, still kept in orbit, were requesting food, and in all honesty I was happy to oblige them and even repair their ship if it meant getting them out of my hair, and away from Haven. Both because it would lighten my load of problems, and keep them out of potential harm in a war they were not part of. As for the refugee camp, the man that stabbed Fatet had been caught and was in custody, which was good. I'd arrange for him to be shipped back to the UNSC's territory=

=the crew alert him to the ship above going dark so he has them all on battle ready stations why not alerting the possible enemy ship=

"Oh, is that so? What is it? May I ask."

"Sounds good to me."
What a stroke of good luck I've been having. And right after a bad one too. Wait... hopefully this isn't a pattern…
"Could I could something that can hold extra ammo? 'Cause I'm going to need it. Along with a couple weapons."

William sits up straight and leans forward in his chair.
"Let me get this clear. you're throwing me in a drop pod?"

"You mean US in drop podS plural...I'm on this mission too bub...so we drop in and do what we gotta do that's it?" He thought for a moment the had an idea... "We discussed earlier about the enemy having AIs that I could use...any status what type they are? Smart or dumb? Hat could also throw a wrench into our mission if its a smart one...better counter strikes."

=looks at darnok

doesn't matter we are elite highly trained and if we do encounter A.I's then we better find the armor and the info inside it

it's a group pod actually, safer and more efficent then using seperate pods

=The Pelican from the Guild Navigator approaches the Trophaeum's Hanger, and the soldiers inside prepare to unload=

James looked at him and sighed "if we do run into a smart AI I'm keeping it after you get what ever you might need from it ok? I have a soft spot for the smart ones."

=gets confirmation of the unsc forces arriving so he informs everyone via comm=

=takes off to the drop bay and sends the directions to the others while having several crewmen go to inform the unsc of the plans and to escort them to the drop bay as well=

I turn and follow after Zeru since that's where it all begins. Then set on the ship's comm.
"Hey, can somebody get me a Battle Rifle and a Shotgun?"

=The Pelican lands in the Hanger, and it's door opens. Feyd and his four ODST's step out. The Helljumpers are amazed at the size of the Hanger alone. Feyd gets a message in his helmet with directions to the Drop Bay=

Let's move, Helljumpers.

roger that we have everything set for your arrival at the drop bay

=leads everyone through the maze of hallways to the desitnation=

William nods to Zeru, then follows him through the ship's halls to the drop bay.

=Eventually Feyd and his squad make it down to the Drop bay. The Helljumpers needed no introduction to this place. They felt right at home. They had brought their own weapons, so they had no need to gear up. Now all they had to do was wait for the order to load up into the pods and drop=

=arrives at the bay and waits for the other's to arrive=

I arrive at the same time as Zeru and quickly collect my weapons from the crewmen. Then make room for extra ammo.
Then grabbing the extra ammo.

William steps into the pod bay, right behind Zeru.

ok so we're waiting on the squad and darnok to arrive before we begin

=goes over to a control panel and brings up some info and goes over it=

ok while we wait feel free to get what you need for the drop

Okay, so. I don't have any grenades and I have a strip of shotgun shells, a couple clips of BR rounds and
a extra clip of Magnum rounds on a belt across my chest.
My other belt, yanno, the one around my waist. Is stuffed with more ammo. I won't be worrying about ammo.
"Well, I'm ready to go when they get here."

William checked his gear. He only had his compact shotgun, and his M6C pistol on his hip holsters. his plan was to go in light and take whatever weapons the enemy was using. His ammo was spread about his armor in various places.

Finding themselves alive, the crews of the five vessels went to work.

Xion, meanwhile, powered on the comms.

"UNSC Rising Dawn to Guild Navigator. AI CC136-4248 X...Xion...speaking. Confirmation Code X-Ray Delta Niner Niner Seven."
Xion's hologram switched on so she could observe Sora and Rika, who were cleaning their rifles.
"And let's see what happens..."

=It wasn't long before a small shuttle was sent to the foreign vessel, while repair Sentinels swarmed over the damaged sections making repairs. The shuttle itself contained food for the aliens, though as to whether it was safe for them to eat was still unknown=


--Haystack, Algol System, Planet Adachi--

=While Haven was busy entertaining unexpected guests, the Reclaimers were busy establishing a beachhead in the Algol system. Their base on the desert world of Adachi was a mixture of GESTR manufacturing and standard troop occupation, while they oversaw a mining operation=

Ah, Colonel. How goes our operations on Adachi?

So far so good sir. Our geological surveys show the surface is rich in tungsten, so our Gauss guns will soon have a plentiful supply of reserve ammo. Our survey drones also show that there's uranium in the surface, though this actually presents a small problem for us.

(Hans)
Why? With fissible materials we can add fission weapons to our arsenal.

(Harris)
The problem is that the uranium itself is closer to the surface than we would like. After millions of years, the wind here has actually weathered through the surface, especially around these uranium deposits. The wind picks up the uranium particles, and we soon have radioactive dust storms.

(Hans)
Quite the natural hazard you have there.

(Harris)
You have no idea. While the combat skins our troops wear, and the lining of this complex, protect us from the radiation it does little for our communication gear, and dust storms are actually frequent in this area. Apparently, we didn't perform that thorough of a geological survey for our bases location. Too late to do a thing about it now though.

How frequent are these dust storms?

(Harris)
Well, our best estimates place dust storms here in this region as something of a weekly thing. One major dust storm per week, and the last one was yesterday.

James showed up ready to go with his needler and shotgun...he heard the orders "ok then...im ready to go when you are...its time to kick some butt"

William looked over his weapons once more.
"Well... Lets do it then."
