=Zantomee's ship, the Sin of Wrath, was on the planet below the covenant fleet when the message came. Vera was exited to be fighting under the covenant once more, despite the presence of the Brutes. He headed to the bridge and gave the proper orders. The ship rose from the ground, and headed up into space to meet the rest of the fleet. Whoa whoa, slow down. I saved your life, so I'll ask the questions here.
=I saw the look in his eyes, almost afraid. What the hell, wouldn't hurt to be courteous=

Just to show good faith, your equipment is safely locked up in the storage locker behind me. We didn't touch a thing. As for for this "her," I have no idea what your talking about. Now, if you could please answer my questions.

Okay, lets start with something simple.

Why were those Covenant ships after you?

Damn, hoping for something that wasn't about the mission.

We were investigating a planet, it was filled with forerunner artifacts. I'm guessing the covenant wanted to keep us from finding something.

Well, I've got bad news for you Jeremy: one of the Covenant ships escaped, and is already telling it's friends about this world. Which means, that we're going to have a whole lot more Covenant here.

Listen, there not after you, or your people. They want me, and what I have. If what I have falls into there hands, they might have the key to starting another large scale human-covenant war.

Buddy, you have no idea where we are, do you? This is a Forerunner world. Whatever you have, will be minuscule to them. I already have ships in orbit, maintaining defensive positions, but if the Covies show up in force......

The scientists aboard that ship, found something greater than just a few artifacts though. A whole database! Filled with information! Star maps, weapons, things I can't describe! If we had made it, the PNR could have taken it, and this whole thing wouldn't have happened!

Your missing the point here. Those files are worthless at this point. Either way, the Covenant will be showing up here in a fleet, and as powerful as my ships are, I don't think we'll be able to take them. There are Five million people here, families too. Whatever importance those files may have had, is irrelevant.

If you have any other questions, ask them. I can't help the fact the covenant are coming here, its not my fault ONI wanted us to investigate. And its definitely not my fault the entire crew is dead.

If I could have my armor back, that would be nice. Please, I feel naked.

This isn't a court martial Jeremy. No one is blaming you for the deaths of this crew. I'm simply giving you the facts: Your presence here brought the Covenant. This world was meant to be a Haven, and now that is being threatened.

If you want, I have the the codes to call in the biggest ships the UNSC has. I managed to snag them before I escaped the ship.

Or I could point you in the direction of a secret ONI dry dock, that finished producing another Zeus class super-carrier. I'm sure you know what those are.

However, I doubt the UNSC will come to help us. They already tried to kill me, and everyone here. Besides, if Reach itself couldn't stop a Covenant fleet, then I doubt that one ship, however big, will save us. I'll have to use what we have here.

We picked up a distress beacon a few hours ago, and Jason took the Silver Hawk out to rescue whoever it was. It was a UNSC trooper, maybe ODST. Unfortunately, three Covenant ships dropped out of slip-space, and engaged him.

=before he opened his mouth, I responded=
He's fine. His ship managed to hold off the other ships until Haven's fleet could show up. They destroyed two of the ships, and the third escaped. Now, everyone's on alert, in case that ship comes back with friends.

They will. They always do. Unless of course you scramble their nav data, then they won't come back.

=I tried to smile, but couldn't. There was no escaping the fact that the Covenant would arrive here, at Haven. Five Million people lived here, and the Covenant would wipe them out=

Were just going to have to stick around until someone decides to kill us. Were not much use and were just going to make things complicated.

Okay listen: The man in their is named Jeremy, and he's not a prisoner. All the same, make sure he doesn't leave the room without you with him. I don't trust him yet.

Not much. Mostly, just sandwich meat. Though if you want, the cities have a lot more variety in food.

I can't move. I tried yelling for help, but it seems no one can hear me. I underestimated this A.I.
