=after a few minutes of walking, we get to the gear room. I strip out of my ship uniform and into my combat gear. I put on a ballistic vest (matte black), combat vest (also black) and start putting on facepaint, in a mirror, doing my best to make it random to break up the human element=

=We get near the point, the civilians have put the cache in the middle of the road=

Get the EOD crew!

=As I hear that, and RPG fires and hits in front of the lead HMMWV=

=puts on his combat gear but decides against the facepaint=

=sets makes sure his equipment in it's designated place and makes sure nothing is loose=

=i cover up my face and neck as best I can and grab some gloves=

=The explosion rocks my ears and I return to hearing=

"CONTACT RIGHT!"

=I crawl to a nearby stone wall and try to observe the battlefield as more insurgents begin to close in=

=walks over to his locker and makes sure nothing needed is forgotton and shuts it afterwards=

=i nod and walk over to my locker, grabbing my Karambit knife, and my calico M960 SMG. I holster both of them, and slip a backup knife into my boot, strapping it down with a piece of velcro=

=picks up his tatang combat knife puts it in the sheath and makes sure both are secure before pick up a ballist knife and hiding it on a hidden pouch near his ankle=

=One of the soldiers on the other side of the street starts to contact some reinforcements on the radio=


This is Patrol, we need some back up. We are under small arms fire from locals, any assistance would be appreciated.

=Justin nods and stands up, his gear all set. Before we leave, I grab some suppressors from a requisitions officer nearby, and hand one to Justin and Harima, threading my own onto my weapon. We head out to the deck and search for our RHIB=

Vic: Roger that. One hour to RV with spec ops. Operational chat only from now on, ladies.

=I take the suppressor and put on my gun=

=i climb into the RHIB, going over to the driver's area and prepping for a drive=

=I hop in beside him=

"So, what are we doing again? That briefing was quite confusing."

We're going to sneak in behind some fuckers, and make hell. We've also got some Actual Charlie 130 in the air to help us. We're going to contact them once we hit land. My guess is to guide us in and help raise some hell.

"I know they called us for a reason, but what if we fuck up, and shit goes to, well, shit.

Pretty much that, Justin. If shit goes to shit, we do our best to make it more shit for them and less shit for us.

=i signaled for the boat winch to lower and we descended down into the water. I broke the cables connecting us and started heading towards shore=
Harima, get a map out and make sure we are on course.

continue straight for 5 minutes at this speed then turn right about 5 degree's right and we should be right on course

Got it. 5 minutes it is. Hey, Justin, you aren't gonna get sea sick are ya?

Radio Op: I got the spec ops team's frequency, sir. Time for contact?

=Radio operator gives a thumbs up=

Vic: This is Spooky 1-5 to SEAL team, how copy?

=i grab a radio when I hear the call from the Gunships=
This is Sierra 2-1. We hear you Spooky. Out.

=I look at Harima, then my rifle=

=we approach the shoreline and I cut the engine, letting us drift up to the beach. I signal for a bailout once we get close enough, unsure if voice commands would work right now=

=hops out with his gun drawn looking for contacts=

=I aim my rifle north of us=

"Got anything?"

=I said that in a low, almost a whispered tone=

=i shake my head and grab the radio=

nothing on this beach head i can see up to the hill all we got are a few crabs past that crest nothing

Not if we do this right, Justin. We do it right, they won't even know we're here. And Harima, noted, but we're here to weaken the defenses for the final push. The more we take out now, the less there will be later.

=The EOD truck is hit with an IED and stops the convoy. Everyone gets out of the HMMWVs and goes back to cover=

the landings are 25 miles north so take it we're to make it look like it's here not there

Rick: Sir, MGs don't have visual on the team.

Vic: You sure?

Rick: Absolutely, sir. I'm seeing several taking naps, and the rest have gone to light up cigs, sir.

Vic: Thanks, Rick.

Vic: Sierra 2-1, enemy is blind. Repeat, they aren't looking at you.

=we reach the crest and i whisper to the the AC130 team=
Roger. Moving in now.

=i make quick hand gestures to the others to move up and take out the MG nest. I crawl over the crest, weapon pointed and ready=

=I aim toward the nest, and get ready=
