Chapter 1.

"Englishmen! This is really not the time to be playing seek and hide. So, just stand up. Unless you need time to finish your tea."

=Sergeant shouted. He'd done all the shouting really. Or any talking that is. I was still in the rubble of the building, or the second floor of it. They were hiding. So I just hid. They couldn't see me. That I was sure of. So, the rest of my unit went out to greet our friendly Englishmen.=

((Any parts in different colours are me speaking a different language, the colour of the language will be said at the top of each post FRENCH ))

"Shut the fuck up!" I whispered as loud as I dared "Fucking idiots, do you want to get caught?"

=No one moved, but I'd heard Mouse swear under his breath.=

"They're our French equivalent? I feel offended." Whispered Textbook.

"Oh! So you are there?! Well, there aren't any 'enemies' around! And if there were, surely you and your amazing sand hiding skills would hide the entire battle!"

=I kept watch. Sarge was shouting his head off. He was going to get us killed. Or more likely, the Englishmen would annoy him that much he'd then get himself and us killed. By probably the SAS. Complicated stuff. I kept my eyes peeled.=

"I swear to God, just the fuck up, or I'll shoot you myself. How do you know there isn't a sniper watching us? Or an RPG team moving in as we speak?"

"They sure put the 'Special' in Special Operations..." Dagger muttered.

=A shot rang out, causing us all to duck, I checked the others in my squad no one was hurt, I looked back at the frenchman. He was on the ground. I heard Dagger's own L96 ring out. He'd just killed the sniper.
I crawled down to the French sergeant, applied pressure to the bullet wound while Mouse took out my first aid kit=

=Sarge going down didn't worry me. The sniper didn't worry me. What did was the Flare.

Snipers always worked in pairs, right? And now that second one had just popped a flare, and well, now we had to run. Run.=

((FRENCH))
=I saw the flare.=
"Fuck! Cover me! We can't move him like this!"

=I Frantically ripped off his combat uniform, using my knife to get it off.=
Apply the dressing, making sure to keep pressure on the wound...
=I placed the main padding on his back, where the exit wound was, it was small, as far as exit wounds go, the bullet hadn't bounced much.=

"Mouse! Grab his arm! Textbook, Dagger cover us!"
=I wasn't the squad leader, Dagger was, but in cases like this, they followed my orders. I was the medic, after all.
We dragged 'Frenchie' into the building where the GIGN were taking cover.=


"Down here! Someone needs to carry him!"

=The other took position near the windows.=


"Don't worry, you're gonna be fine... What's your name?" I asked the Sergeant.

=I listened. The Sarge made no reply. I was pretty sure he was still alive. Just being quiet. You know, loud before death... Is there even a saying to do with that... I made my way down from the second floor.=

"We need to go!" I shouted. Hadn't shouted in a while.

((French))
=His pulse was dying, I was close to panicking.=
"Come on, Speak. You're not dieing on me!"
=He stopped breathing.=
"Fuck!"

=I opened his mouth and held his nose as I performed CPR. I breathed down his throat, and pushed his chest, just above his heart, in an attempt to keep his blood circulation. 7 pushes, one breath. I did this for five minutes straight. But it's usually only to prolong life until someone get's here. Mouse put his hand on my shoulder.=

"Can't save 'em all."

"He's dead." I said to the GIGN.

"Like I said Englishman, we need to go! Unless you want more dead!"

=I knew we had to go. Sarge was dead. He did run out there. And get himself shot. So of course, he was going to die. But we had to move. Sarge wouldn't want us all dead. Or maybe he'd want the SAS dead... Doesn't matter.=

=I hop into the Eagle HMMWV with a couple other soldiers=

=The driver turns around and talks to all of us=

Okay, we just got a call from the locals saying there is a possibility of an IED and weapons cache in Ar Ramadi, just west of Baghdad. We are going to bring an American EOD unit with us to get rid of the IED. If we need any reinforcements, they will be on standby.

=The 3 HMMWVs drive off with the EOD Vehicle in the back=

=I nodded. Frenchie was right. I took the dead man's tags and closed his eyes.=

"Let's move, we need to recover the HVT."

=The others moved away from the windows.=

"We have to move, fast, or they'll catch us. They probably have vehicles."

=We went to the back of the house and checked the back.=

"Clear." Declared Mouse.

=We moved out, completely silent=

=We start heading down the road=

=We pass some American checkpoints before we get near the town=

=I head into the briefing room=

Commander: Good Afternoon, Ghostriders

All: Good afternoon commander.

Commander: At ease and sit down

=The whole wing sits down=

Commander: As you all know, CENTCOM is mobilizing the a couple of the AC-130s for this Operation. We're to come in at night and soften up the beach head along with other U.S. special forces of which I am not privy to. Those two AC-130s are going to raise a bit of hell with said special forces. You all know your jobs, so I expect nothing but the best from those two crews, Understood?

All: SIR, YES SIR!

Commander: Good luck, gentlemen. Dismissed.

=I then head to the ready room to get all my gear on and head to the AC-130U=

Jason: Ready to raise some hell, man?

You know I am, man.

=I then head onto my AC-130 and get the ammunition loaded=

Vic: Are we loaded up back there?

Ammunition is loaded, and we're ready to go.

Vic: Roger that, Mark. Strap in and get ready to rumble.

=Then hear the Spectre's engines roar to life as we head out into hell=

=As we near the town I can see civilians starting to leave, we all know what is going to happen next=

=I rip out a magazine and pop it into the gun=

Somebody get on the Machine gun.

=I can see the outskirts of the town now=

=Me and the rest of my squad moved out, behind the SAS. We still had to get to the HVT. They could be moving him as of now. So we had to act fast.=

=I ran, staying away from the roadside, some of the vehicles had stopped outside the buildings, but a few carried on.=

"Get down!" Shouted Dagger
=We all dropped instantly, covering ourselves with as much sand as we could in the few seconds we had. I just hoped the french would do the same, and fast.=

guess it's time for the meeting

(So I can get to the action earlier, this will be a lead up to getting in Afghan.)

I jumped onto the large cargo plane. Holding a few tanks and a good amount of infantry. I jumped into a seat as the tanks were strapped down. The plane took off.

The tanks rolled as silent as they could through the night. Going over the sand to try and avoid IEDs. "What's the plan Sergeant?" I asked, looking around in the binoculars. "Help out SAS and GIGN with a HTV." "Enough acronyms sir?" "Fuck off Collins." I chuckled a bit, seeing a rubble building(s). "Shit stop!" The tanks stopped and turned off. There was only two, but any noise can give us away. "Rubble building, several contacts. Looked organized. Probably our boys." The flare popped off, knowing that shit would go down soon. "Fuck....They're seen!" The sergeant got on the radio with the other tank. Saying to hold until we could assist better. I keep the binoculars up. Scanning back and forth.

=I'd hit the ground, as we were trained to. Of course. But not like the Englishmens expertise of hiding in the middle of a battle like the cowards they are. I wasn't sure if the rest of my squad hit the ground.=

=a second later the speakers come on=

=i get up and follow Harima, Justin following me. We headed to the briefing room, passing personnel along the way that went about their business maintaining the ship and aircraft=

=We didn't move. We were barely breathing. The vehicles drove past, I almost panicked when the lights went over me. I calmed myself by reminding myself of what had happened in my training. I'd avoided capture by experienced SAS for 3 days.=

Stay calm, don't move...


=The vehicles carried on down the road. We waited until the others followed and 5 minutes more just to be safe.=

Dagger: "All right everyone, up. We need to move before they move our HVT."

"I doubt they'd move him, sir. They probably plan to execute him. Like they did when we invaded this place."

"They'll want to execute him, Publicly. Over a TV Broadcast of some kind, you Englishmen might call it that. Intel already knows where that place will most likely be..."

=I crouched 'up' so to say, and made sure that the rest of 'my' squad was okay.=

I looked over the three vehicles as they left. As they kept going, the SAS and GIGN got up and started conversing, probably planning. "I'll be back." I said, grabbing the M4 Rifle from the inside of tank, and slowly opened the hatch, looking around as I jumped out. I hit the sand with a thud. Not having much (Or any) Body armor on. I walked towards the soldiers. Gun raised.

=I saw someone in the corner of my eye. I raised my rifle at him. My squad saw the movement and copied me.=

Dagger: "Stay there or we shoot!"

=I kept my sights square on the man's head.=

"Once again with the brunt approach, Englishmen."

=I sat on the sand, as did the rest of my squad. I doubted the enemy was stupid enough to walk up to us, so he had to be some form of ally. Or someone who just wanted to get killed.=

I stopped dead in my tracks. Lowering my gun as one of the two squads raised there's. "Army Private Matt I Collins. Ally in your case. I don't speak french tho, so that might be a problem."

=arrives at the briefing and sits down waiting=

Dagger: "I'm Dagger, this is Wolf, Mouse and Textbook." =He pointed us out=
Dagger: "Don't worry about languages, Wolf is our Linguist."

=I nodded.=
Dagger: "Now, we have a HVT to find."

"Ah, yes, the HVT. As I was saying... There is a Broadcast station, le nord of here. We can carry along the main road, it would be the fastest route."

I take the information in. "Alright...there gonna know your coming probably, espically if after that little stunt that happened. Anyway." I got there attention and pointed toward the direction of the tanks. "Our stuff if you can see them. I'll stick with you guys, seeing as I'm the only one with a radio to them." I looked down at my rifle, only having a clip or so in it. "Not the best with this thing tho, to be honest. Fuck it." I got on the radio. Saying a few words as I heard the tanks fire up and start to move towards us. "Your rides."

Dagger: "Tell them to stay off the road, out of sight. If we're caught again the HVT will escape and the VIP will die."

"We didn't mention that we have two targets, there was no time before we got discovered."

Textbook: "I say we get a vehicle, Save time."

=We nod in agreement.=

Mouse: "What do you say Frenchies, Vehicle or walk?"

"Vehicle it is."

=I turned to face the rest of my squad, and they nodded in agreement.=

I told the tank crews to stay on the sand. Doing so as they rolled up on us. I threw the men my radio. "You know why." I jumped onto the tank, opening the hatch and jumping in, going back to my position. Testing the radio. "You guys hear me?"

Dagger: "We got ya."

=I'd been formulating a plan while talking.=

"I have an idea. What if, we have the GIGN's sniper on a roof facing the room of the execution. One of us goes inside disguised as one of them, likely me as only I speak Arabic. Then, we wait until the execution is about to start, you breach the room, I grab the VIP and we all leave happily. The tank can then escort us. To the Evac zone. First, I need a bad guy."

=The other SAS were quiet, processing my plan.=

"So what do the rest of us do? We have Traver here as a Sniper, but other than that? Nothing."

"You'll be part of the breaching team. The more guns pointed at your enemy, the better."

I opened the hatch again. "You have two snipers right? Have them clear out the room, and rest go in. You must have silencers right?"

"We have snipers, yes."

=I looked at the American who was poking out of the Hatch.=

"I don't think two snipers could clear the room fast enough. The VIP would be killed. Is it worth losing the VIP? I mean, I knew the risks when I joined. Even if I get caught, they might delay the execution to interrogate me."

=I looked down at my rifle.=

"Fine, how bout this. All of your men raid the compound, silently of course. And if you need us we roll right in." "COLLINS! Shut the fuck up!" I heard from inside the tank. "Well, I'm off." I closed the hatch and went back down.

=Dagger turns to us and the GIGN=
Dagger: What do you think, Wolf or Collins' plan?

"Plan 1s risky. Could work, and would probably be a lot easier. Plan 2. A lot more shooting... And probably not so risky.

Plan 1."

=I look at my squad, and they give a few nods of agreement.=

=I look at Ben=

"Know any news yet?"

=Dagger Nods=
Dagger: Let's get a vehicle, and some new clothes for you. Best not keep your new friends waiting.

=I nod, knowing exactly how dangerous this is.=

=I waited for the teams to arrive before starting the briefing=

Welcome SEALs, I'm Lt. Granger. I'm going to tell you what you are going to be doing in this upcoming op. As you may have heard, this is going to be a Joint OP between all branches of the military. Air Force, NAVY, Army, everyone. We can't last long in a concentrated front, so we need to split them up. This will be an all out, no holds barred assault on the underbelly of the Asian forces.

=i pressed the remote and the projector turned on, highlighting the mission area=

Everything here is on a need to know basis. All you need to know, is where you are going, and what you are to do. SEAL teams, that'd be you, will infiltrate via RHIBs and Scuba gear here and here.

=i tap on the screen to indicate the locations=

There will be two A-C130s of the Special Operations Wing, the Ghostriders, to assist you all in your missions. Get acquainted with them as you reach the mainland. Now, once you reach the mainland, you are to cause as much diversion and destruction as you can behind their main defenses. Draw them away from the beaches as to help limit casualties. The Assault begins in 24 hours. You have 2 hours to suit up and head out. Dismissed.

=Two hours till nightfall=

Vic: Everyone set, Mark?

Yes, they are, sir.

Vic: Roger that.

=Radios ATC=

Vic: ATC, this is Spooky 1-5, ready to go.

ATC: Roger that Spooky 1-5, you are cleared for take off.

=The AC-130 then taxies into position and rumbles off into the night=

Vic: Two hours till RV with spec ops, boys. Keep alert.

=Vic then powers out the running lights on the Spectre=

=I sit there and take in the information, nodding as he says things. I look around, at Ben and Harima after he is done talking=

"Well, I am going to suit up, you both should too."

=We stop at the entrance to the town and everyone but the drivers and gunners dismount=

=One squad walks on the left sidewalk, the other the right.=

Stay aware.

=We start to patrol down the town until we get to the point of interest=

=i nod to Justin and salute the officer before heading off to the changing rooms to get our weapons and gear on=
