Chapter 4: Exodus part 3

=Ash runs closer as she see's Dormii tackle the man=
Dormii?! What the hell are you doing?! Who is this!

=i tighten my grip on my knife. i shout at him=
WHY DO I KNOW YOU?! WHO ARE YOU?!

Whats going on?!
................wha-what's happening here!?

Dromii! What the hell are you doing do you know this man?!

=She turns and see's Tar-tun holding his weapon=
Put that away! Don't you dare shoot that weapon!

=looks down realizing he hasn't put the gun down=
........wha-wha-why am i do this?!

I don't take commands, I'm a Weapon, not some person.

what!? did i just say that!?

= I hear the sound of an armoured spartan charge down the hall, I turn just in time to be tackled to the ground, the assailant snarls "Who are you, and why do I remember you?" I feel the knife to my throat, and then he shouts in my face "WHY DO I KNOW YOU?! WHO ARE YOU?!" I notice his grip tightening on the knife, and i hear the woman speaking, I hear the name Dormii. Dormii, Dream. Dormii Mali, bad dream. him. the memories immediately start pouring in, like the flood gates have opened, god opened the heavens and rained for forty days and nights of memories. Dormii Mali, I remembered all that i did, all that we did, what happened to him, his disappearance. I brought my legs up between his body and mine and kicked up, with a powerful thrust that threw him into the ceiling, rolled out of the way and his body hit the floor, i rolled into a crouching stance and replied calmly=

me nomine Nikolaus est.

=i pick myself up. the name seems familiar, and i get angry again. i trigger a Scream= WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?! WHY AM I TRYING TO KILL YOU!?

=i rush at him again=

Dormii stop this!

=Ash jumps in the way of his attack and absorbs the blow=
Ugh....

=I realize that part of what was done to Dormii caused memories to trigger strong emotional reactions, and violent ones. I thought of a phrase to calm him down, without revielling who i was, or who i worked for.=

Dormii, requiescat in pace et tace!

=i try to get up again, but Ash stops me= =to Nikolaus= WHY AM I TRYING TO KILL YOU!? I DON'T HAVE CONTROL RIGHT NOW! WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?!

What the hell is wrong with me? Gods, not another episode...

=i hear his phrase and fall asleep=

= i see him fall to the floor, in what appeared to be a peaceful slumber. I look at the woman who tried to intervene, and that at the man who called himself a weapon, and not a person, then back at the woman, who had been injured by Dormii's outbreak, I go to her=

=She looks down at Dormii sleeping on the floor=
What happened..?

=She looks up to Nikolaus, clutching her arm in pain=

=looking at the woman, i notice her clutching her arm, might be a slight fracture, she may need medical treatment, I look over at the man who seems to be have a mental break, asking me repeatedly who i was. or am.=

My name is Nikolaus, i'm a doctor in both medicine and psychology.

=comms epsilon and asks if there is a place he can practice spar =

= looking relived , takes off helmet=
I'm Tar-Tun Stenzier... i'm just going through a hard time... I apologize again for pointing my gun at you...

=She looks into Nikolaus eyes=
How do you know Dormii..? Or... Better yet, how does he know you?

= I look at Tar-Tun Stenzier, I look at the gun on the floor, then meet the mans eyes=

=I turn back to the woman=

=he meets her gaze, hears her question, but can think of no answer, untrue, i have an answer....=

We met, a long time ago, we were different people then....

=Her eyes darken, she sighs still clutching her arm=

= I look at the woman, trying to think of a way to evade the question or at least give an answer that'll only be a half-truth...=

I used to live in the area, when this place was built, I served as a medic for the UNSC, and i knew the land around these parts, so I could show them where the place were to set up a perimeter.

=He comms back to Zeru=

Probably just the Military base.

=heads to the base and finds a sparring room and begins to practice=

808th!? I was never part of such an atrocity! I was locked up by them for two years!

=I looked back at Tar-Tun Stenzier=

pardon? i saw the armour and just assumed......

This armor is a prototype I'm testing for the spartan program... but i'm not with them anymore...

Really..? I didn't think anyone else lived on this heap...

=as i sleep, i dream. i dream of training with Emily and Lee and Christina. I dream about the arma, the courses, the armor, and finally, me being sent to "work". i start dreaming about coming back and watching them die. i try to wake up, but the trigger keeps me in place. i start shaking=

I understand... What should we do about Dormii..? He could wake up soon..

we need to get him to the medical-room, and get him out of his armour and on a bed, i need to slowly coax him out of the triggered coma.

=the shaking gets worse, i try to call out their names, my team's, but the trigger keeps me quiet. it comes out as a raspy breath=

=She snaps her head at Tar-tun=
Don't you think we talked enough?! I'm done talking...

=She turns away from him and back to Nikolaus=
Really?! He's in that much danger? What did you do?

you could show me where the medical-room is. wait, you asked me what i did? I said a trigger phrase, now, would you kindly show me to the med-room?

=She begins walking to the medbay, looking back to make sure Nikolaus was following her=

=watches Ash direct Nikolaus to the med bay=

=An alarm sounds and soldiers begin rushing to their stations. He sends a comm to Voutan and Zeru while looking at a screen=

Voutan! Zeru! Ready up! UNSC Ships inbound! Get to the Comet! We're launching in 5!

Dammit! How the hell!?

=He heads back to the Comet and gets ready for a battle=

=I begin to follow the woman to the Medbay, thinking of the best way to coax Dormii out of the coma, I feel him shake, and try to brake out of it, always the fighter. I sensed and interesting amount of tension between Tar-tun Stenzier and the woman earlier, i wonder what that is all about... hears Tar-tun scream and turns=

-shouting- well get up and follow us!

=She hears Tar-tun and mutters under her breath=
You deserve it...

=She turns back to Nikolaus=
You okay..? Need a hand?

=She looks back up the hall=
Were almost there...

=his comm sends him a siganal=

-to voutan- this is zeru can u get me to this location quickly

=Alpha stands at the head of a battlestation of the Obsidian Wolf=

[Alpha] Standby Ion cannons...Fire!

=A series of blasts from an Ion Cannon fire out and strike the UNSC ships, disabling them for a few minutes. Alpha, Theta, and Beta head to their respective ships. The Azure Comet takes off and heads into the UNSC fleet with a few other ships. They begin to fire massive broadsides on eachother=

=the shaking worsens again, and my back arches as i try to get out of my head. i try to call out again, still making raspy sounds, no actual words=

= I begin to think of a way to bring happy memories back to Dormii, I begin to smile.....I feel him try and move, and I stabilize my hold on him, and begin moving a little faster=

=Voutan heads off into one of the many fighter craft and takes off. He engages a few UNSC fighters in a dogfight=

=They reach the medbay and walk inside, two medical tables lie empty in the room=
Here we are.... Will he be okay..? A lot of people here care for him...

=slips away unnoticed to a secret location which is cloaked waiting he gets on board and heads down a previousl no existant passage way and prepares something=
