I'd hate to spoil the moment...

"It's a once in a life time chance, no doubt. Something extremely rare. I'm happy for you, even if we only known each other for a day."

I smile. Glad to know those were tears of joy not... well. You know what I mean.

Thank you. Wait, you don't know what I did, do you.

"Not a clue. But I bet you don't know what I was accused of."
My eyes find their way to the table. Something switches in me though and I look back up.
"What was it you did? Destroyed a ship or something right?"

(Dormii)
Killed off the people in the ship. Every single one. Care to guess what kind of ship it was?

"Shit... why? And uh. No clue at all."

UNSC, and they were trying to stop me from getting to a splinter group or something of Elites. Apparently, the split-chin fuckers wanted amnesty from the rest of the Covenant, and, due to my orders, I was to put them down regardless.

"Damn. Guess the ONI people didn't think if all the scenarios you'd go through."
I would love to lean back right about now, but this being a cafeteria table...

Mmhm, I was flying away, trying to leave before anybody arrived when I woke up here.

"Well. That saved me from having to ask you what was the last thing you remember."
I would laugh but that might seem a little off. I am a little off but I mean, I don't want people to know that.
"But one other question. Whenever it happens, an episode, are you in control or...?"

An episode?

"Well. Maybe not an episode. But whenever you hear the location of Covenant tech and have to destroy it."

Oh, yeah, I'm in control. I'm fully aware and things, but it's not like I have to go do it, it's like a...really really strong urge. You know, like if you really really need to take a piss.

"Huh. So there's little chance of fighting it... What kind of tech did they put into you?"

Tech? They didn't do anything with tech. Just a lot of training. The only tech I think they put in me was the usual bits. And wherever this new arm came from.

=i wave my good arm at the thing, not really wanting to move it myself=

"They did that with training? What sort of program did they put you in? Because I certainly never got it."

I realize that I was asking a lot of questions. Purely out of curiosity. And getting carried away with it, too. I might be delving a little too deep.

I know it was post-Spartan training. There was only like four of us.

"Mind if I ask if they died? If they're alive or not?"

But my guess is they're dead. Considering the pardon you just got...

"You know it right? That you're one lucky dude. Not only surviving Reach but getting a full pardon. Even if it wasn't you're fault."

Yeah, but I could've saved them. The order took over and I had to go after the Covies as opposed to helping them. I could see them too, as they died. I was maybe 40 feet away.

===Some time after Feyd's conversation with Dormii===
==Bridge of the UNSC Guild Navigator==

=Feyd stood next to Captain Haskell in front of his console on the Guild Navigator's bridge. He was greatly relieved to hear that Dormii would be rejoining them and aiding humanity's ongoing fight=

CH- Very well. When can we expect him aboard?

F- Likely by tomorrow. Let's give him some time to pack his things.

CH- Alright.

F- And my full report will be filed by week's end.

CH- Good. Now the-

=Just then, there was a loud, deep noise, and the ship shook in place. Monitors on the bridge lit up and flashed=

CH- What the hell was that!?

Crewman- Something in the Engine rooms, sir. It looks like something in or near the Slipspace drive got knocked loose.

CH- Can you be a little more specific, corporal!?

Crewman- I'm working on it, sir. ....Engineers are reporting Plasma damage. It looks like... Like Sangheili sabotage!

CH- Damnit! Feyd, get down there and find whoever did this! Now!

F- Yes, sir!

=Feyd ran off the bridge and headed towards engineering. Suddenly, the ship jolted and began moving forward=

CH- What now!?

Crewman- We're being sent into a Slipspace jump! I can't stop it!

=A slipspace portal opened in front of the Guild Navigator and it began to move inside. It's engines and pieces of rear hull severely damaged, it began to lose parts on the way through. As the portal was closing, a loud noise, a spout of fire, and a large chunk of molten metal came flying back out=

"It doesn't seem like that. You said the order took over. You didn't have much of a choice."

(Dormii)
Yeah, but I could see the enemy and my team, they were together, being killed and slaughtered. I was right there, and I didn't make the choice to go get those aliens first.

"Damn... just, damn. That must have hard to do."

(Dormii)
=i shake my head=
It's been haunting me since I left Reach.

=I go silent, then remember something=
Oh, where's my ship! It's a fighter craft, modified Sabre. Do you know where it is?

"Umm. How can I say this... it's most likely gone. Or maybe it is still here? I don't know. Zeru might, since he's your friend."

I turn to Zeru who happens to be in the same room. I heard him laughing earlier...

i'm staying out of any of these conversations for now

=gets up and starts heading to the bridge=

"I- er... okay. That's understandable."

(Dormii)
Well. Anyway, I'm going to go hunting for my ship. Care to join me?

=i stand up from the table=

"Yeah sure. Just let me grab something edible first?"

The conversation had, somehow, gotten me hungry.

Yeah, of course.

I walk over to the bar and secure myself a breakfast burrito. I thank the workers and head back over to Dormii.
I didn't say anything, instead taking a bite. Then motioning him to go first.

=i smile, nod, and start walking, making sure Alphonse was following. I started out just wandering the hallways, looking for a way to know where I was in the ship=

While following him I realize that I was doing three things. Making sure he doesn't get into trouble. Curing boredom and eating.
I shrug the realization off and continue munching the burrito.

=eventually, I find a map and start making my way towards the hanger. Alphonse followed me the whole time, but I think he was enjoying his food too much to really talk=

"So, what did you say you were looking for? The lucky dream?"

I said inbetween bites.

The Dream of Luck. It's a Sabre fighter I modified for more maneuverability, but I had to take out the shield emitters, one of the autocannons, and a few banks of missiles. Luckily though, I could dog fight with the best the Covies had to offer, and usually beat their ass. Well, at least until I could make it into their hanger bay I was hacking during the fight and then land and blow it from the inside out.

=makes it to the bridge and starts going over things with the bridge crew to make sure everything is running smoothly=

=the bridge crew detects what is going on and sounds the general alarm and zeru gets on a shipwide comm=

all hands to your stations something just happened to the Guild Navigator and i want everyone prepared incase something else happens

=i stop where i am and loko around as people start running around=
What? What's going on? What happened?

"The Guild Navigator, the ship we're docked with, he said something happened to it. So he wants people at their battle stations. Just Incase."

I continue eating my burrito.

"And I don't have a station. At least he didn't inform me I had one. So I do nothing."

=goes over info on a datapad and gets back on the comm=

anyone who does not have a station is to assist the closest station in their immediate area

Looks like he heard you. Let's go.

=i jog off, following the nearest person=

The ship's alarms sounded and Gitz snapped into action just in time to do nothing. He listened to Zeru's announcements, but didn't know the first thing about any of this ship's controls. So, left with not very many options, Gitz made his way to the bridge.

=makes sure comm is off and start issuing orders to the bridge crew=

ok i want that ship track and soon as you find it's exit location attempt to contact it see if anyone is still alive on it

I followed after Dormii, going whatever he is.

=continues checking to ensure everyone is in their assigned area=

Well, this is laughable. The person we were following ended up going into the Bridge. The reason why it's funny is because that's where I would've gone anyway.

Gitz made his way up to the bridge, staying close to the wall encase the ship decided to take a sharp turn, or get fired at. Usually that was something that happens when lights are flashing.

The door to the bridge hisses open and Gitz stepped in. People were at their stations, doing... stuff. I didn't want to get in the way, but I also wanted to know what exactly was happening.

"What in the hell's going on, Z?!"
