ZRP-2: Chapter 4, Backtracking

=While she walked around, I kept an eye out for anything suspicious. Yes I should have been looking at her and the underwear, but in all honesty I was focusing on staying alive long enough to enjoy it=
"Not really my area of expertise Hibiki. I'm only now getting into this you know."

"I'll go with both." She grinned. "Switch things up."
Searching for the right pairs, she grabbed them. "I';d like to try them on now....oh well"

=As I was walking, I came across the dressing room area=
"Well, if you want there's a set o- JESUS!!!!!"

=No sooner had I begun speaking, than another walker came waltzing out of the dressing rooms. And this one was.....well, naked. It used to be an attractive woman, though with the way her boobs sagged it suggested she had been dead for quite some time. Also she wasn't quite naked, she wore some of the lingerie, and let me tell you; a zombie girl with sagging boobs and wearing lingerie is the most sure fire way, to not only kill your boner, but make it crawl back inside and actually whimper in fear=
"FUCKING HELL, IT'S MS. FEBRUARY!!!!!!!!!!!"

Hibiki shot it dead.
"Dammit, now you're looking at other women? Tsk tsk." She smirked, then sighed.
"You really want me to try these on now?" She asked.

(James)
"Well not right now. Look, we still need to get back to the compound. So.....just try and hurry up packing, and lets move."

Hibiki chuckled and got together everything she wanted (Because who the hell gets sexy lingerie during an apocalypse?) and came up to James.
"I love shopping." She said, grinning.

I sigh, finally getting control over my breathing. It's been almost five minutes since we... finished.

"I love surviving. Let me check to see if the coast is clear."
=Moving to the front door, I lifted the grate and opened the door a crack, looking outside. The street out front was devoid of any walkers, and it was a clear shot to the compound=

"Okay, we're good to go."

Hibiki made sure her pack of sexy underwear was secure.
"Let's go. I wanna try these on."

(James)
=My mind suddenly filled with images of her wearing all the different underwear. Don't look at me like that, wouldn't you? I mean, if it was your wife, chances are you'd be in my shoes and drooling over the idea of her in lingerie=
"Uh, sure thing."

=We broke into a run, heading back for the compound=

Wow.
He was running fast.
Hibiki smirked. "I should go underwear shopping more often. He's such a kid."

Sprinting after him, she easily caught up.
"Someone wants a fashion show."

"Yes and no. I just don't want to get caught in the open out here, in the event that there are more walkers or raiders."
=The wall was in sight=

She chuckled.
"Alright."

(Andrew)

=I had found a spot, Mira having gone back to the hotel before I did. Me I just needed some time to think and relax=

Man, I missed moments like these...

=I had found a spot with a decent view point of the city, including the wall. Man, was it a great view=

(James)
=The guys at the gates recognized us, and they opened the doors. Once back inside, I came to a stop, took a breath, and of all things.....laughed. Hey, we escaped a roller ring of zombies, took shelter in a lingerie store, and walked away with the store in bag=
"Well....that's one way to have a honeymoon."

(Andrew)

=I look and I see James and Hibiki coming in, James laughing his head off=

Good grief...it's the end of the damn world, and they find some time themselves...not surprised...

=I just walk on over and find a spot a decent distance away, merely watching=

Hibiki laughed. "That was fun. Let's do it again."

(James)
"Seriously? Again?"

Hibiki laughed. "What, it was fun to do something with my husband that didn't involve sex for once...ok, not completely about sex, but hey." She giggled. "I still thought the roller rink idea was sweet."

(Andrew)

=I kept my distance, but move in a bit closer to kind of get a hint of what the hell went on=

Oh wow...that...is....hilarious...

=I chuckle, a broad grin on my face=

(James)
"Yeah and look how that turned out."
=I started walking back to the hotel, the sun already starting to set. Damn, come fall and night comes early=

Hibiki sighed, following along.
"Well, at least you get a few hours of seeing your amazing wife give you a private Victoria's Secret fashion show."

Eve mewed in her sleep, snuggling up even closer to Sam in her sleep.

(James)
=I stumbled a little as I walked, nearly falling to the ground before regaining my balance=
"Uh....."

=Yeah, I was sorta speechless=

Smirking, Hibiki continued walking.

(Andrew)

=I then head back to the hotel, wanting to get there by nightfall=

Damn end of the world...

=I make it to the hotel a few minutes later, heading to the room to get some much needed sleep=

Well...it wouldn't hurt...

=That, and make up for how crappy the day turned out. I then head into the room, sitting down on the bed. I gave Mira an apologetic smile on my face=

Sorry about how the day turned out.

Mira looked up.
"Well. You decided to be competitive...then, Andy. You really were a jerk. She was knocked out and you proceeded to start target practice? Where the hell was your compassion? So what if she was showing off, she's a kid and she just got seriously hurt!" Mira sat up. "Don't apologize to me, apologize to Eve and Sam for how you just treated them."

(Andrew)

=I felt my ears burn, hanging my head in shame=

I know, and I'll apologize for my actions.

=I flop down onto the bed=

You must hate me for what I did.

Mira smiled, scooting over and punching his shoulder playfully.
"I love you because, in the end, you'll fess up and admit you fucked up. You're man enough to own up to your mistakes."
She gave Andy a kiss. "And that's why I love you."

Once most of the flesh-eaters were distracted, Abel bolted out from the house corner, across the street and uphill to the grocery store's doors. The windows to the grocery were too dirty to see through , so Abel was just going to have to rely on his luck that the store wasn't overrun.

He turned a corner and entered the old sliding doors, that had been forced open years ago, but Abel's luck seemed to have failed him once again. Atleast seven zombies were lumbering their way towards the exit.

Abel quickly darted left, he'd be damned if he went through the trouble of going through town without the benefits. All the shelves Abel passed seem to have already been looted, it wasn't looking good, not a bread crum small enough for a mouse could be found.

"Shit! shit! shit!"

The creatures were quickly pursuing behind, so Abel grabbed one of the shelves and tilted down , slowing the zombies a bit, but they'd figure out to get around soon. He made it to the back of the store and had found nothing at all. After one more quick sweep with his eyes, Abel had run out of time and had to get out of the store.

=I smile, my mood improving=

Thanks, Mira.

=I return the kiss, still laying on the bed=

Now, what else do I have to do to make up for today?

"I don't know. Surprise me." Mira said.

Kilroy grabbed a rock from the ground then turned the corner. Three bandits stood in the street, one of which was moving towards the house Kilroy was in a minute ago. He dropped the rock, deciding against his course of action. He looked to the houses across the street, down the way a bit, doing so he spotted a rifle sticking out of a window on the second floor of one of the houses.

Kilroy sprinted across the street, trying to keep his feet light as possible, so he wouldn't gain their attention. He made it to the other side, seemingly undetected. He then moved behind the house, through the alleys to get to the house he saw the shooter in.

When he got to the house, Jacobs slowly cracked the back door open and started to make his way in.

(Abel)
Abel crashed out the back door of the grocery, not seeing many zombies. The car alarm that he set earlier was still going, so that was probably getting the attention of almost all the zombies in the area. He moved through the residential area with ease, using backyards and fences to outsmart any hungry flesh-eaters.

(Andrew)

=I grinned at the thought, my mind swirling with ideas=

Well...don't say you didn't ask for it...

=I then take Mira into a hug, kissing her once again. I just revel in the moment, oblivious to the world around me at the time=

(Sam)
=Leaving the room, I crouched low, staying to the shadows. There was no electricity inside, so the only light available came from torches they had nailed to the walls. It made the interior of the building look more like a dungeon than, as I suspected, an office building. I still held the bloody wooden leg in my hand, bits of skin hanging from the nails. The knife of my tormentor was hanging from my belt, tucked inside its sheathe. Now I had to find out where Eve was, and rescue her....before any horrors happened on her=
And if any have....god help them all.

=Our little convoy charged onward along the road, vacant buildings and barren streets on our side. We were coming up on the East wall of their compound, and once in range we went in guns blazing. The tank was first, its machine gun firing off heavy rounds that tore into the men up top before they had time to scream. It then rammed its way through the wall=
"Get set people, we're about to enter the hot zone!"

--52 Hours earlier--

(Sam)
=I was getting prepped in my room, light clothing and jacket on, weapon hanging from the strap around my shoulder. Eve and I were scouting the Raiders, and I wanted to make sure we were mobile=

(James)
=Last night had been....well, interesting, considering the amount of lingerie I saw worn. But that wasn't important right now, what was important was the fact that I was getting my gear on. Hibiki and I were going to play back up for Sam and Eve=

Jacobs moved across the wooden floor, trying to be as silent as possible, but the floor screeched more than spring peepers at sundown. Kilroy had no way of knowing if the man upstairs had heard him or not, so he kept moving across the floor towards and up the stairs.

(Abel)
Once free from the infected town, Abel walked down the road he had exited from.

Eve checked the gun. Good.
She felt the blood drying on her as she pushed the door open. Seeing no one in the immediate vicinity, she started out. Nothing so far.
Taking a breath, she headed for the corner. She had to find Sam, make sure she was ok.
And if any of you took the innocence that belonged to me, I swear to God I will rip your dicks off then tie you up outside and let the walkers feast on you bastards.

Hibiki tightened her grip on her rifle.
"Let's get my kids back."

--52 Hours earlier--

Eve exited the bathroom, having put on a tank top. Slipping a shirt one, she grabbed her jacket before slinging her bow and holstering her Berretta.
She waited till Sam was done before hugging the girl. "I promise to watch your back." She said before letting go.

Hibiki, fresh from a very fun fashion show, finished cleaning her katana.
She was gonna protect her daughter.
She swore it.

=I nod, shouldering my rifle=

Don't have to tell me twice..

=I felt a bead of sweat trickle down my back, anger still boiling a bit in me=

--52 hours earlier--

(Andrew)

=Last night was, well, something. But got my gear in place, strapping on what I could, and banishing the events of last night from my system. I was providing some light support, just in case things got screwy=

And if it can happen...it will happen...

=I take a deep breath, feeling a bit calmer than I was a few seconds earlier=

(Sarah)

=I was released from the hospital, albeit on a wheelchair. I was nervous that I might be immediately spotted, and that was my main concern=

Let's just hope Andrew isn't here...then everything will be compromised...

=I wheel out hospital exit doors a minute later, relieved that I was alive=

(Sam)
=I started moving down the hall, actually hoping someone came down so I could cave their brains in. But that thought that was soon squashed, the moment I felt a strong pair of hands clamp down on my shoulders from behind, and I was pulled into another room. Heavy blows fell down on my face, along with spittle as someone screamed=

*Raider*
"YOU FUCKING BITCH! YOU KILLED HIM!"
=They knocked the club from my hand, and kept wailing into me, shoving me against a wall=

"You're going to pay. I'll slit your fucking throat. But first....first, you're going to be of use before you die."
=There was the sound of a zipper being pulled down=

(Sam)
=I panicked. I knew what was coming. I tried to squirm out from where I was but his hand clamped down around my throat, squeezing tightly. God, I tried to gasp, but I knew what would happen if I opened my mouth. But my eyes were wide open though, and I saw them in front of me. Oh God, he held himself before me, and tried to force it into my mouth, the vile thing pressed against my lips=

*Raider*
"OPEN UP! OPEN UP OR I'LL CUT YOUR LIPS OFF RIGHT NOW!!"

(James)
=The firefight began in the 'courtyard' of the Raider base, and I got out in the middle of it. Jumping from the bus, I headed for the main building, gun firing off at any targets I could see=

--52 Hours earlier--

(James)
"You ever wonder that, if you sharpen it enough the blade will become too brittle?"
=I looked at her, as she sharpened the sword. It was an almost envious look to be honest, since I kinda liked swords and never had one myself=

(Sam)
"Likewise Eve"
=I smiled at her=

(Andrew)

=I join in the firefight, running and picking off targets as I moved, adrenaline pumping through me=

Hang in there...the cavalry is coming...

=I continue to fire, hoping we would make it in time=

--52 hours earlier--

(Andrew)

=I sharpen my Bowie Knife, satisfied it was sharpened enough after the last few fights it was put through=

But you can't be sure...can ya..?

=I then put it in its sheath, feeling its reassuring weight settle on my belt=

(Sarah)

=I wheel towards the river, my eyes full of curiosity=

So...this is St. Louis? I never got to see it outside of the training compound...

=I then feel a pang of envy for Andrew, having lived a life that I was denied, continuing to roll on through St. Louis towards the hotel that I was to be staying at temporarily=

(James)
"Andrew, stay out here, thin them out. Hibiki and I will grab Eve and Sam."
=With that, I ran into the building=

(Sam)
=His other hand squeezed my lips, and pulled them apart enough for him to force himself part way into my mouth. I tried to scream, but it was stifled by what he was doing, so in a panic I flailed my arms and managed to find what I had almost forgotten about: the knife. It was hidden, so he never took it away, and I grabbed it, pulled it out, and in a sweeping arc I severed his dick from the rest of his body. He screamed in pain, blood gushing from the crimson stump. I spat out the severed half, blood in my mouth, and then stabbed the knife into balls=
"Who's penetrating who now bitch!"

Eve had turned a corner, and then heard yelling.
Fucking bitch?
Yep.
Had to be Sam.

But before she could act, a door opened. Eve spun, gun raised, and put three into the Raider's chest. As another door opened, Eve fired away, and two more died.
She went ahead and emptied the clip into a fourth Raider before reloading from her spare clip.
She kicked down the door and saw...

"GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM MY GIRLFRIEND!" she shouted without really thinking about what she was about to say.
Then Sam cut the guy's dick off.

As he screamed in pain, Eve unloaded all ten rounds into the guy as she advanced, then, as he lay on the ground dying, Eve dropped onto his chest and used the but of the gun to beat the fucker's head in.
And, even after she did that, she didn't stop, tears of anger streaming down her face.

Hibiki was off before James, and with two guns, she was like Rambo, and she was killing the fuckers off.

--52 Hours Earlier--
"That is why you must sharpen it correctly. If you do, a sword can last forever." She smiled.

Eve obviously was happy. So she gave Sam her space and waited patiently.
