Chapter 5: Revelations of the Past

"I will notify Draco of your status." David grabbed a stainless steel clothes-hanger, bending it and putting an IV drip on it, hanging it from a cart. He injected it into Ash's arm, "This will help get whatever is in your system out. Rest, please."

David hopped on his PDA, sending a private signal to Draco. "Draco, Ash and I are in the hotel. Get to our room ASAP. I'll tell you which room number in a bit."

=Jack goes into a closet and quickly changes into the clothes of one of the hotel staff. He goes back to Miss Cole's door and rings the doorbell. He waits there holding a broom, his weapons carefully concealed under his clothing=

=She moans to David=
Don't... Uh...

=She dropped her hand to the side, her skin burning up from a fever=
I... Can't even think...

David looks through the hole from a bit of a distance so no one can see him, to find that a man diguised as Hotel Management was at the door. He drawed the handgun and shushed Ash silently.

=He continues waiting and humms Carol of the Bells to himself=

David hears faint humming and decides to hide in the shadows and see if the man would make a forced entry. His handgun still in-hand and Ash on the bed.

=He goes for his belt and pulls off a key. He opens the door and sees Miss Cole on the bed=

Jack- Oh, im sorry! I wasnt aware this room was occupied!

=He looks at her arm=

Jack- You appear to be in need of medical attention. I should get a medkit from the hall.

=He turns around and goes for the door=

=Ash felt something crawl up her throat=
I... Think... I'm going... to be sick...

=She leans over the bed=
Draco..? Help me...

=She tried to sit up, but failing=

=She spots the man at the door, her vision still blurred=
ugh.. Help..?

David pounces from the shadows, attempting to knock the stranger's head against the wall. If succeeded, the man would drop whatever weapon he was holding and David would he holding him by his neck, just off barely off the floor. He decided that just to fuck with his mind a little more, he'd adopt a different dialect, "Hello, my frenn." He said in his usual gravelly voice, but with a Russian accent.

=Jack just barely dodges a man who comes from the shadows. He looks up at him=

Jack- Who are you!? Did you do this to her!?

"Do not try to fool me, who ah you? What do you want?" David said, literally almost snarling.

Jack- His accent is strange. What is that? His voice is different from when we met in the street

What are you talking about!? Who are you!?

David gets a little irritable, "I am not in the mood for games my frenn, now tell me who you are."

Jack- My name is Teil Waidmanne. I work here! Who are you!?

Nobody knows my real name, so he wont know its Dear Jack...

"If you want to leave here with all your brain cells I reccomend you telling the truth. You do not work here. You think I am fool?"

(He hears some noise going on in his helmet)
(He stands and rushes to his armor)
(He puts the suit on)

Andrea replay that last message

(David's voice fills his ears)

Andrea locate them

*Locating. Location found. Marking on your visor*

(The mark pops up and he quickly rushes to it)
(He finds the door open)
(Ash is sitting on the bed. Hurt)
(David dealing with a strange man)
(Rage and Anger fill his voice)
What. Is going on

=She moans again barely able to tell what's going on=
Someone..? Please...

=She coughed a noise ringing in her ears=

=Her vision blacked out fading further, the rest of her body becoming completely numb=

=He pulls his ID from his pocket. It has his picture, his occupation, his age, and his name Teil Waidmanne on it=

Jack- See? Ive worked here for 5 years!

(He rushes over to Ash)

@David
Keep him occupied.

(He sits down next to her, removing his helmet)
(His voice soft)

David looks up for a split-second to see Draco, looking back down to the man, "You lie. This room is not checked in, why would you send room-service to an empty-room?" David walked over to the wall, pressing the man against it rather forcefully, "Now, who ah you?"

Jack- Because the fucking room was occupiued two days ago and it needed to be cleaned, you crazy fuck! Now that the fuck is going on!!!

David pulls the man away before slamming him back into the wall, probably giving him whiplash, "You are the same man from the alleyway. I recognize your face. Now, tell me who you are." His Russian facade has faded by now.

=She leaned over the bed again felling as if she was going to throw up her insides=

=She tried to lift her hand to his=

=She began breathing heavily=

=I listen to the conversation over the mic=

=I begin to retrain myself to fire my gun by shooting at wild life in the area=

(He takes her hand)

=He activates his Energy Knife and cuts the mans wrists. He runs out of the room and back into the closet. He changes back into his own clothes quickly before fleeing to the rooftop=

David pursues almost immediately, ignoring the fact that both his wrists are bleeding. He noticed the man go in and out of a closet then onto the rooftops. Upon reaching the rooftops David rose his handgun, sending two shots to the man's legs.

=She tries to speak to Draco with the little breath she had=
G... et Hel....

=She wanted to claw at her chests, breathing became harder and harder each second=

=He looks over the rooftop. He smiles and drops two Smoke Bombs and falls backwards off the rooftop. He disapears into the smoke and into a water tank under the street. His legs feel numb. He swims to the edge and checks his underarmor=

Jack- Thank the gods for that...
=He smiles again. He runs long the labreinth of sewerways untill he comes out again in a far away street=

(He notices her distress)

(He rushes out of the door)
(He looks down the hallways)

(He runs down the hallway)

David sighs and looks at his wrists, now bleeding heavily. He turns back to notice the trail of blood he's left, and he dropped his rucksack with medical supplies back at the room. David kneels, weakened by blood loss, trying the comms, "Bleeding out...roof." And collapses face first on the cold rooftop.

=I hear the finish confrontment, sitting there.. unable to do anything I continue to shoot at skilled marksman targets=

(He bangs on the doors)
(No-one)
(He gets to the lobby)
(No one)
(He begins to feel cold)
(It begins to overtake him)
(He drops on the floor of the lobby)
(Pain overtaking him)
(He begins to shake violently)

=I grab more ammo from the Armoury and continue on the killing spree=

(The episode begins to subside)
(His eyes still glazed)
(He stands and walks back to the room Ash is in)
(He spots her)
(She had layed down on the bed, Passed out)
(He takes his helmet and puts in on)
(His voice monotone)

Andrea help me out here

(He begins to work on Ash)
(Figuring out what was wrong, what had caused this)
(Following instructions given to him by Andrea)

=I turn on the comm once more=

If no one responds, I will have to find someone myself.

(Minutes go by)
(He continues to follow the instructions)
(After some time he gets Ash into a more stable condition)
(He places a blanket over her)
(His voice still monotone, His eyes turned Purple in color)

*Hope, A distress call was sent out by David*

(A few moments go by)

*Location found. The roof of the hotel*

(He walks out of the room. Finding the stairs He goes up them)
(He arrives at the top of the building)
(It had begun to rain)
(Searching, he spots a figure, passed out)
(He walks over to David, lifting him up and rushing him out of the rain)
(He arrives in a random room, opening the door)
(Laying him down on the bed and beginning to stop the bleeding)
(He places cloth down on the cuts, placing pressure)

=He returns to the lower city. He heads off to see Lady Arachne. He goes into an abandoned building and heads into a secret underground passageway into the base. There are men and women in the service of both Jack and Lady Arachne generally hanging out around the small base. He goes into to speak with her. They speak of new information provided by their ONI informant. They now know that the last known location of Voutan Reist was on a remote jungle planet called Chi Ceti IV. Jack leaves the base and heads back to Tall-Town to either procure transport, or to find the people he recently spoke with again=

(He notices the skin had also been slightly burned)

Andrea what could cause something like that

*Energy Dagger, perhaps?*

(The blood begins to stop flowing)
(Clotting)
(He looks around trying to find something to close up the wounds)
(Finding nothing)
(He checks one more time for the blood)
(Nothing comes out)
(He checks David's pulse)

(He exits that room and returns to the room Ash was in)

(VOUTAN)

=After many days working on the Spirit, he finally gets it in working order. Some of the unecessary systems are still not online, but everything required to pilot the shit or even make a slipspace jump is working fine. He brings Sunreion online=

Votuan- Sunreion, run a scan on all ships leaving the planet since we got back here. We're getting off this rock.

Sun- Yes, sir.

=The ship fires up and flies the short distance to the base and lands in the courtyard. Voutan comes out and Sunreion continues his scans=

=I relieve my position of shooting wildlife and see Voutan=

=I take caution by him=

=He sees Snow=

Voutan- Hello again, Snow. I'm getting off this damn jungle planet. I just came to say goodbye, and see if anyone wanted to come with me. Interested?

=I look around behind me and see nothing=

I just need to get something out of the base.
=He heads into the base and retreives Immer's necklace from the pool table. She had left it there the day before she was killed. He heads back to the Spirit=

=I climb off the ship and head toward's Jay's room and see a 'Do not disturb' note on it=
=I chuckle=

=I write a note for them and slide it under the door=

We are leaving this planet, comm when you want pickup

=I return to the ship=

=He heads into the Spirit, and makes sure all systems are up and running. He checks to make sure they have enough supplies. Enough to supply 4 people for 6 months. Should be good between the two of them. He heads up to the main deck and starts up the ship and waits for Snow=

=I bang on the metal wall, signalling to Vout to take off and I walk to the pilot room=

=I point to a necklace=

Voutan- Its a necklance my sister made. There are only 3 like it, Mine, hers, and Tar-Tun's. We fought together in the rebellion of our home planet before we were taken into the spartan program. Do you have all your gear or whatever else you may want or need?

=I check my ammo pouches, medical bag..=

=I climb off the ship real quick an go to my destroyed bunker and retrieve my engraved K-Bar Knife and return to the ship=

Ok. Let's go.

=I look at my knife and put it in my knife belt=

(He enters the room)
(He takes her and walks down the hallway back to thier room)
(He lays her down, placing the blanket over her)
(He goes to the wall nearest the door)
(He sits, no sleeping)
(He takes off his helmet)

Hope-So many things going on at one time.

Dante-I have gotten used to it

(They both look up at Ash)

Hope-She had been hurt

Dante-I will find the one responsible. I shall make them pay.
