Because ive seen that man go through hell and back. Even before we were spartans, back in the rebellion of our homeworld, i saw him get shot in the leg. Not just any old shot to the leg, although you can imagine the pain that would cause a 7 year old kid. It shattered his leg bones into a million peices. They almost had to amputate it. We were out of painkillers, so they had to treat him without em. He had to sit there, awake, no painkillers, and watch as a doctor cut open his leg, removed a bullet, and tried to reassemble his legbones. There was so much blood, i dont know how he didnt puke. Keep in mind he was 7. Did he cry?

=I'm a little drunk actually=

Well i wouldnt say that either. One night, our squad was tasked with the destruction of a UNSC outpost in the middle of an occupied city. The mission was considered near-suicide. We snuck in, which was not by any means the hard part. Once we got there, we were discovered by a guard. He sounded the alarm and all hell broke loose. He strapped a bag full of grenades to a warthog and put a brick on the pedal, creating a makeshift ram to get us in. Once we were in, he took out the guards with his knife. I had never seen such skill in the ways of stealth and cqc.

=He chuckles=

Now, mind you he would be no mach for a legend like Dormii, but that would still be an interesting fight. Him and his brother became famous in our batallion for Improvisation and cqc. They were unmatched, not even by me.

=He looks at Zeru and takes off his helmet=

And god knows what kind of experiance they picked up over the years. My advice?

true but i may not be a cqc expert but i was still trained in it tho i am a medical expert and i can use that to an advantage all i know is if we fought it'd be a tie but besides that why did you leave and what data did u give the unsc about me

I left because i had met up with my old Batallion, and i had an obligation to help them. Although im not with the UNSC anymore, im a bounty hunter. And i didnt give the UNSC anything on you.

=He puts his helmet back on=

Like I said, I dont roll with them anymore.

=He puts up his hands mocking surrender=

=He smiles and continues down the hall=

=I watch the others leave the room, and I listen as much as I can, but when I stop hearing them, I call over a medic to keep an eye on Snow and head out of the hospital. I stand, leaning against the doorway watching things happen=

Interesting. Well, i wanted to ask you somethng as well. While i was on the Comet, my armor was fitted with a new upgrade and i was wondering if you would like to help me test it.

=I walk through the base, heading to the firing range. I arrive there and check my weapons, three magnums, in at the desk. I grab a semi auto rifle as I go past the rack and a small box of ammo. I set up and start practicing, noticing that there are no other practicers within three stalls radius of me=

Oh, itll be fine.

=They walk around and search for a courtyard. They come to one=

=I awaken in a fright=

Argh..!

=I grab my chest=

=I try to pace my shots, but I keep tying to fire full auto, I squeeze the trigger as fast as I can making the dust kick up around and behind the target, mostly around. I stand and pit the rifle back, grabbing an smg and ammo instead. That works much better for my style. I notice there are almost no practicers around now, only two or three remain in the entire range=

=The pain goes away and I sit on the side of the bed=

I need to be more careful..

=I stand up=

=I head to the firing range, next to Dormii=

=I notice Snow and the final few shooters leave= Snow, why are you out here?

=I fire off a burst at the target, shredding the lower left corner=

=He activates his armor, and his sheilds flicker purple=

Its called a VES. Its a multi-use tool, that i sadly havent had a chance to test. Basically, it gives the user the ability to funnel the energy from their armor, mainly their sheilds, into something that can be used for a variety of things. A few of them being a super-jump like ability, a dash, or a weapon. The weapon uses the enrgy from the sheilds and is channeled into either a wave, a pulse, or a concentrated force beam. The energy can be emitted from the user's hands or feet. There are some downsides, however. The system will drain the sheilds and they will have to recharge like they would normally. Also, it sometimes has a tendancy to put a bit more force into the use than perhaps intended. So, are you ready? If something goes wrong, i may need help.

=He smiles=

=I pick up an SMG=

You know.. killing time...

=I take a silencer out of my bag and attach it to the SMG=

=I chuckle when I see the silencer= Wimp.

=I fire a longer burst, hitting all over the target. I reload=

=I point down the range=

I haven't used this in a long time...

=I fire quick bursts=

=activates impact mode=

=I fire again, not letting go of the trigger. The target is covered in impacts, no bullets miss it=

I love this thing...if only a shotgun was here...

Hey! Watch this!

=I hold the gun with one hand and put my other near where the bullets would originally come out of the gun=

=I fire=

Gotta love Caseless Ammunition.

=He turns around. Data streams across his HUD. He jumps nearly 8 feet in the air. He descends and once he reaches the ground, activates a dash. He flies forward in a blur and uses an energy wave from his hands to slash a small sapling in half. He stands still and waits for his shields to recharge. He then looks into the sky and sees a bird. He raises his hand and fires a precise bolt of energy at it. The bird falls from the sky in a red cloud. He points to a large rock out in the distance. He puts both of his hands together and brings them forward, firing a massive energy blast that makes the boulder split into at least eight peices. He smiles at Zeru as his shields recharge=

I think it works...

=I smile= Hell yeah! You know that caseless rounds first came about in the 21st century?

=I load up another mag but don't fire yet=

=I stop firing=

No. I didn't know that.

=I put the SMG on the table, removing my silencer and putting it into my bag=

I thought that didn't come till the 22nd Century..

=I pick up a shotgun=

I like to keep this for close encounters.

=I smile=

Yeah, they showed up in the heckler & Koch G11. Experimental assault rifle. Full auto and burst fire modes. I think a 3.5x scope, if not higher. Almost no recoil, damn thing was awesome, too bad they scrapped it a few years after production.

=I decide to unload the smg and sit down=

=I step up to the firing line and brace myself=

=I fire an 8 gauge shell, nearly knocking me off my feet=

Herrrgh...

=I grab my chest in pain and fall to my knees=

=He breathes heavily and takes off his helmet=

Well like i said. The sheilds are ineffective during the usage, and it sometimes has a tendancy to release just a bit more force that perhaps intended. But i think i just found a new one.

=He puts his helmet on and accesses the DooM net to post the latest progress in the VES testing=

Weapons cause extreme heat inside the armor, and the boots and jump abilities can cause the user to experiance dizzyness and nausia.

=He sits down and takes off his helmet. He wipes off some sweat from his forehead and nearly throws up on the ground=

Okay. So on a secondary note, prolonged use of the VES can have effects on Vision and balance.

= I put his weapons down and put his arm around my shoulders, supporting his weight=
cmon, back to the hospital for you.

=we leave the firing range, stopping only to collect my magnums. We go back to the hospital room and I set him down on the bed= Stay, you need it.

=He sits on a rock and watches Zeru=

Sure. I need a minute to catch my breath anyways. That shit's draining...

=activates impact and his shields glow and short energy blades coem out of is armors wrists while each wrist has a blade on each side=

i can't do much in my current stat but i can fo a brief demo

= starts by lunging torward a rock cutting with through it before doing backspin where both elbow blade are piercing the rest of the rock before it hits the ground and deactivates it=


panting sorry that's all i can do right now

=i call a doctor over to make sure Snow stays put, and stays relaxed. i go out wandering again and come across a field like area. both Zeru and Jack are here, both are tired, and the landscape around them looks attacked=

Okay, either you two just fended off an attack by evil rocks, or you guys were practicing.

=He looks over at Dormii and chuckes=

Dormii, you missed it! We were under attack from an entire fleet of evil rockmen! Ah, you should've seen it. It was amazing.

=He laughs again=

=i fake disappointment=

So what's going on? Zeru, you show him impact mode or something?

=He stands up and starts toward the entrance to the base=

Well, im exausted. Im going to find a place to crash for now...

@xazhi impact mode grants the user extremely strong shields increases strength and reaction time dramaticly the drawback is it has a timer due to fact it can kill u if use it for more then a few mins average spartan lasts 2 mins max
