@Dormii: I guess so. The one thing I miss is not having a name. I'm just a flying robot shaped like a ball.

=I look down at her and I begin to wobble and fall to the ground=

=I get to the top of the hill and I can see the Pelican in the distance=

(He sees Snow and Christina on top of the hill)

Going for the Pelican?

(He gets closer and closer to the LZ)

=I start going down hill, losing some blood as I go=

(He begins to slow to a jog)

(The vision fades)

(He gets to the Pelican)

=i get to the messhall, and I grab a tray of food. i sit down at a table and start eating=

@Dormii: I know mostly whatever the Forerunners put into me, as well as what I've picked up from data banks. Anything you would like to know?

=I load the pistol and start taking pot shots at the Pelican=

(Dormii)
=i nod, while walking through the base=
Tell me about the Forerunners. I have no idea what or who they are.

(He hears the gunshots)
(They ping off the sides of the Pelican)

(The Pelican begins to take off)
(It heads off to break atmosphere)

@Dormii: Okay then. Boop de boop de doop... The Forerunners. An acient race of beings who created the Halo rings, as well as many other objects. After a war with the Flood, they planned on activating the rings. To make sure not all perished with the activation, they saved types of each species so that when all was gone, life could start again. They did not save themselves, and perished after the Rings were activated. Possibly the greatest species in the term of technology, far advanced then any other around now.

And that's all I know. Not much, really. They didn't exactly give me much on themselves.

=as I eat, my mind wanders back to what happened with Kurbis last night=

=I watch the Pelican take off=

=I throw the Pistol to the side, I cradle Christina's body in my arms=

@Dormii: The Flood, are a species of highly virulent parasitic organisms that reproduce and grow by consuming sentient life forms of sufficient biomass and cognitive capability. The Flood was responsible for consuming most of the sentient life in the galaxy, notably the Forerunners, during the 300-year-long Forerunner-Flood War. The Flood can infect and mutate Humans and Covenant species, such as Sangheili, and Jiralhanae, into Combat Forms. They are widely considered to be the greatest threat to the existence of life, or, more accurately, biodiversity, in the Milky Way Galaxy. They had once been destroyed after the activation of the Halo's, aswell as everything else.

In short. Unless something happens soon, everyone is dead.

But what can we do? It seems like the only option is to commit suicide.

@Dormii: That is something I do not know. The Forerunners did not know how to get rid of them, unless by the activation of the Halo rings.

(They fire off)

(He sits back in the chair)

Well, then it seems like the only option we have to fight them is bullets and blades and fire.

=we enter a large open room with a lot a scrap metal and half-built...i don't know, machines? they are just the basic frame-work fro whatever they are. i try to comm the others=
