But in his mind, his responsibilities come first. You know what Vigil's done, how many lives have been destroyed because of what they made him do. Ask yourself, if you were in his place, would you really continue on with your life, as the monsters that used you continued to exist?

Del- So. Youre Revaerian, huh?

Xaz- Yep. Although im more artificial now....

=Delta chuckles awkwardly, knowing that it was mostly because of him=

Del- So. Tell me about yourself...

Xaz- Why the sudden interest?

Del- i dunno... The silence is killing me.

Xaz- Hum something then.

Del- Well, i think that we could work better as a team if we knew more about eachother is all...

Xaz- Not much to tell... I was fighting in the rebellion of my planet when i was only 6 or 7. I was captured by the UNSC and was chosen to become a Spartan for the 128th battalion. But 6 years into my training, i was selected for project DOOM, which was developed alongside SHI, to create super-efficient hunters.

Del- Interesting. So you were a bounty hunter?

Xaz- Yea. Then on a mission to a place called Shadow of the Moon when i was about 20, i met a man named Jack. I never learned much about him before he died, other than that he was a super-skilled assassin. He taught me a lot. I eventually took his place as an assassin.

Del- so you left after that?

Xaz- No, actually. I stayed untill just a few months ago, when i was picked up by the Spartans under the command of Ishtar.

Del- So what made you stay so long?

Xaz- Not long after i met Jack, i met a woman there. I fell for her immediately... We were together for a few months. She was an ex-rebel soldier. Eventually, she left without a trace. I never saw her again.

Del- That sucks. I guess i can relate.

Xaz- How so?

Del- Well...... Actually, i have no idea.

=He chuckles=

Xaz- So what about you, Mr toss people into lakes from mid-atmosphere?

Del- Well, I was created by a scientist who was looking to create a species of artificial life. Halfway into the project, the UNSC tried to kill her. She fled to the Di-Lumnis belt, and we were created on Sisvetghukam. We were by then basically bred for war. In the beginning, there were only five of us. Me and my brothers, Beta, Theta, Sigma, and Giga. Then we were asked to turn her into an XNNO like us. She became X No Alpha. And to this day, we all look at her like out mother. Or at least the five of us do. After the Obsidian Wolf was built and launched, she began making more of us. And the species grew after that.

Xaz- Thats fucking weird. No offense.

Del- None taken. I myself realize that War is why i was born. I will live and die for what i was bred to do.

Xaz- Well, myself and the RSS were attempting to bring down the UNSC, when you kinda, you know, shot be, beat me, and tossed me into a lake from the Trophaeum's hanger.

Del- Are you still on about that?
